提要本文旨在探討若呈現隱喻映射原則,顯示展現詞彙之相關理據,藉此提升二語學習者之隱喻意識於詞彙學習,此輔助方式對於其戰爭類商業詞語學習及記憶留存之效應為何?我們以「商場如戰場」(BUSINESS IS WAR)映射原則為主題,選取十個常見高頻戰爭類相關之商業隱喻詞語為內容,調查了 31 名日籍中級以上之華語學習者。實驗組接受隱喻映射圖指導,透過連結「來源域(戰爭)」與「目標域(商業)」之對應關係,學習相關隱喻詞彙,控制組則以一般詞解和例句學習詞語,其後進行即時後測、及一週後之延時後測。結果發現:(1) 實驗組即時後測之整體詞彙學習成效明顯優於控制組(M=8.34 vs. 7.57, t(29)=2.07, p=0.024),此情況同樣見於延時後測(M=8.53 vs. 7.50, t(29)=2.24, p=0.017); (2) 即時後測中,實驗組文意理解表現顯著較佳(M=7.19 vs. 6.40, t(29)=1.87, p=0.036);(3)實驗組於即時後測的隱喻動詞整體表現較好,兩組達顯著差異(M=5.00 vs. 4.30, t(29)=2.76, p=0.01),而未曾教授之隱喻名詞表現則相約。

抽象 文章提出一種重新看待早期漢語詞形韻律結構的新觀點並採納新的方法加以分析。與漢語從上古單音節詞伊始演變而來觀點不同,我們認為,承繼甲骨文語言而來的早期漢語實際是從遠古多音節詞語言發展而來,至商周乃至春秋戰國時代已經轉變為單音節詞為詞彙主體的語言。商周詞形韻律結構有 SS,CS,SC,MS,BW(雙音節、弱首音節、重首音節、單音節、雙詞音節)五類。MS是主體,BW初萌發,餘三類是遠古遺存,也是本文分析重點。我們嘗試用輕重韻律說明為什麼早期君王名難以釋讀,輕重韻律如何影響詞形結構變化以及對君王名的制約。

提要Atran (1990) 相信植物名稱是拿來形容人或社會通用的喻依 (vehicle)。本文旨在觀察漢語和德語的『菜』和『蘋果』固定語式的語意出發點,再綜合討論其他植物語式,最後我們統計所討論的語式資料,比較漢、德語在植物固定語式上造詞的不同觀察點。Lakoff & Turner (1989) 等人所提出的語意出發點是本文的研究理論基礎,語料乃從字典、辭典、文獻、和媒體中搜集而得。研究比較後顯示,同樣有【普通易得的食材】這個語意出發點,在德語是『蘋果』,在漢語則是『菜』。從德語的Apfel [蘋果]語式中我們看到蘋果在德國人心目中的普遍性和重要性,從其形狀、果肉、作為食品、飼料、農業特色、成熟後掉落地面、到腐爛等方面皆是入詞的參考。德語的Gemüse [菜]和漢語的『菜』語意相差甚多;在德語是名詞,在漢語多半為形容詞。德語Gemüse [菜]常用來代指<人>,漢語的『菜』則常是<食物>的統稱。漢語和德語從外型、可食性、可用性、或是農耕與生長特色的語意出發點,有相同或不同的分佈比例。植物固定語式這種生命體詞彙是語言使用者表詞達意的良好利器。透過外語學習者的角度來探究語意出發點,比較漢語和德語,更能切實的看到語言的核心和實用的面向,對漢語學習有所助益。

摘要 海峽兩岸因為地理分隔、生活習慣差異、社會制度差異等各項因素,導致語詞也產生了諸多差異用法,或者同實異詞,如:「留職停薪」與「保職停薪」、或者異實同詞,如:「可愛」在大陸會帶有幼稚的意思;在台灣,可愛是非常普遍,跨年齡、跨性別的正面稱讚。語詞差異對於相同母語但地理分隔的地區而言,其實是一種普通也正常的現象,英語地區如此,前述的兩岸差異產生不同語詞,自然也是。 不過這些地理與社會差異,直接導致的應該是不同地區的人對於事物判斷的邏輯思維差異,然後才造成了語詞創建及應用之差異。例如醫療上的「靜脈注射」,大陸叫「輸液」,其命名邏輯思維是著眼於藥液透過較長管線「輸送」至人體的特性;台灣叫「點滴」,則是著眼於藥液進入管線時之「藥量可控制性」。明顯的兩岸對於這種注射方式感興趣的特徵處、特殊性之邏輯觀點不同。又如電腦使用的「鼠標」,台灣叫「滑鼠」,「鼠」當然來自英語的「mouse」,「標」之邏輯觀點著眼於「可標準定位性」、「滑」則看見了鼠標可以在屏幕上的「任意移動性」。再如「打橫炮」,台灣叫「攪局」,明顯的已是語詞在最初取材時的觀點與邏輯不同,一取自鞭炮、一取自棋局,語詞自然也就呈現完全差異。 兩岸語詞差異的材料收集與類型研究已經很多,本文則特別著重在兩岸各種差異所導致的社會邏輯與觀點差異之溯源比較,因為語詞差異固然可以因為交流而互相了解並進行溝通,但是長期分治之後導致人們的邏輯觀點差異,甚或

Method: A modified scale was administered to 251 service users attending 5 Community Mental Health Link (LINK) Services measuring the above variables. LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese生命倫理學深受英美的道德哲學(尤其是自由主義)的影響,這是無庸置疑的事實。大部分當代生命倫理學的著作都是從自由主義的道德前提出發來論証關於生命倫理課題的結論。然而必須提出的問題是,從事生命倫理學的探究是否必須從自由主義的道德前提出發?Norman Daniels 等生命倫理學家在其近作From Chance to Choice: Genetics & Justice 一書的一篇附錄裏指出,自由主義的道德架構是目前得到最佳表述和辯護的道德思想架構,其言下之意是理所當然地我們應從此一架構的道德前提出發從事生命倫理學的探究。然而, 倘若我們接受著名道德哲學家Alasdair Macintyre 對道德探究的看法,我們就不會同意Daniels 等人的看法。Macintyre 認為自由主義只是眾多的道德傳統之一,他在Whose Justice? LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English.近年來得益於女性地位的提升與名人效應,單身女性凍卵問題日趨成為社會輿論關注的焦點,由此也引發了法學界對單身女性生育權的討論。然而,單身女性凍卵不僅僅是一個法律議題,更是一個倫理問題。不僅法律和法規的制定和修訂中多有涉及對倫理的關照,凍卵的臨床實踐中也廣泛存在對倫理的考量。在結婚率和生育率持續走低當下社會,相當一部分單身 女性選擇凍卵的動機是希望脱離婚姻而進行自主的生育行 為。值得深思的是,東亞的儒教國家對輔助生殖的使用限制最為嚴格、政策最為保守。本文試圖通過分析儒家會如何看待脱離婚姻的生育行為,來探討儒學倫理對單身女性凍卵抱有怎麽樣的態度、能夠帶來怎麽的啟示。本文認為,儘管在法律維度上應該肯定單身女性擁有生育權,但在倫理層面上,脱離婚姻的生育行為應該極為審慎,因為其有違儒家倫理中對家庭秩序的看重,同時也讓“雙親撫育”難以得到實現。In recent years, thanks to the promotion of the status of women and the celebrity effect, the issue of the frozen eggs of single women has become a focus of public

<p>近年來高校學生因學校對其違紀違規處理過當或者不能接受相應的處分結果,將母校告上法庭的案件時有發生。學生認為學校的處理結果嚴重的侵害到其受教育權或其他基本權利。這種現象一方面是高校學生的自我保護的法律意識不斷地提升,另一方面也反映出高校在處理學生違規行為時學生權利救濟程序存在著不合法之處。學位不僅僅是學術水準的象徵,而且是獲得相應的經濟地位和社會地位的前提條件。在高校作出學位撤銷的決定時,必須要同時兼顧實體公正和程序正當,既要達到維護學術價值和學術倫理,又要充分保護學生的合法權益。尤其是學位撤銷會給當事人帶來的負面影響是極其重大的,除了直接會影響到當事人名譽權、隱私權和工作權,乃至於當事人的人格尊嚴等。這種會造成當事人嚴重後果的行為,必須要完善救濟的途徑。目前因為學位撤銷而引起的糾紛已經納入到司法審查的範圍,不過,因為關係到高校的「學術自由」,法院對學位撤銷糾紛進行審理時,一般僅會審查高校在學位撤銷過程中是否遵循正當程序原則,至於實質性學術不端問題,法院一般不會進行審查。本文以北京大學撤銷于艷茹博士學位案為例,分析學位撤銷存在的爭點,企盼更全面認識中國大陸學生權益救濟法制。</p> <p> </p><p>In recent years, college students often take thei

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English.針對在中國長期爭論的安樂死問題,作者採用發放封閉式調查問卷的方法,對中國河北省保定市南市區和郊區的400名工人、農民、幹部和醫務工作者進行了調查,通過對調查結果的全面分析可以看出,主張安樂死的人以農民所佔比例最小,以醫務人員所佔比例最大;文化程度越高,對安樂死的支持比例越大;多數人主張由醫生、家屬共同決定安樂死的實施;而安樂死的執行大部分人認為應由醫生或第三者進行;而且多數人主張實施安樂死必須立法。本文以該調查結果為基礎,進一步對中國大陸人對於安樂死的態度、看法及價值選擇情況進行了分析與探討,說明了中國傳統文化對大陸人安樂死態度的深刻影響。This essay analyzes the major outcomes of a survey that we conducted on 400 Chinese individuals of different ages, occupations and levels of education. Abstract:
本文主要介紹筆者始創的一個名為EPS的社工介入模式。這個介入模式主要是運用充權(Empowerment)、參與(Participation)和強項角度(Strengths Perspective)三個概念去推行社工的介入方法。本文首先介紹這個模式的三個基本信念,包括:(一) 社會工作的重要目標是去幫助服務對象達致充權;(二) 透過參與才能讓服務對象獲得充權;及(三) 極度相信服務對象有能力及有強項。本文分別闡述充權的概念和作用,分析為何要促進服務對象的參與,剖析達致有意義及高度參與的方法,以及檢視強項角度的信念和重要性。EPS模式認為,社工實踐中一定要將這三個概念 (E、P、S) 緊扣在一起,才能達到社工的理想目標。無論在哪個服務範疇,社工都應該以強項角度去看事物,鼓勵服務對象的參與,從而令他們得到充權。充權是要達到的目標,參與是一個方法,而強項是一個重要的基礎。目標,方法,基礎三樣缺一不可。這個模式指出社工介入的核心元素是採用強項角度去運用參與以達致充權作用。本文最後探討若忽略這三個重要概念或其中一個,社工的介入會出現甚麼問題,並剖析三個概念的互動如何促進社工介入的成效,以及介紹EPS模式在不同領域的應用。 This article introduces a social work intervention model which is called EPS Model and

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English.當代西方面臨多重挑戰,有些是理論層面的,有些是實踐層面的。目前佔主導地位的西方世俗文化的普世主義的道德和生命倫理學工程認為道德基礎可以從道德哲學系統中的有效論證來獲得。這種思維方式源於西元前5 世紀希臘的世俗化,並在13 世紀的西方獲得新生。其後的體系基於對理性的信仰,喪失了維繫西方基督教信仰的承諾,導致康德的理性主義道德工程。1970 和80 年代出現的西方生命倫理學對個體自主性的強調試圖得到這一道德工程的印證,但這種努力已經擱淺:期望依賴普世主義的術語,通過有效理性論證來確保具體內容的所有嘗試,到頭來都不過是乞題論證、循壞論證、或無窮後退,因為人們沒有可能通過對基本前提和證據規則的理性反思來必然地達成共識。人們總是需要進一步的背景前提和規則。從歷史的脈絡來看,一旦西方世俗道德反思拋棄其上帝之眼的視角,標杆化的世俗道德體系就會陷入麻煩。一切強調無名氏的道德視角,無論是以沒有境遇的道德主體身份出現,還是以大多數人的最大利益原則出現,都無法提出標杆化的規範內容。文章認為,西方現代社會-民主制福利國家醫療資源的配置方式所引發的財政上的不可持續的危機帶來三個基本難題:(1) 醫療權利一旦確立,它們所帶來的道德風險;(2) 依靠後人為今人交付醫療服務的做法所
