近年,IoTに基づく「つながる工場」に関する技術開発が着目され,日本の次世代の製造業を支えるために,新しい研究開発が求められている.特に機械加工の現場では,異常検知や適応制御のために加工現象を精確かつリアルタイムにモニタできる技術が必要とされている.そこで,マシニングセンタなどの工作機械において,回転工具の加工中に多チャンネルで各種の物理量を切削点近傍にてモニタ可能な無線多機能ホルダを開発し,様々な工具,加工方法を対象にその有効性を示した.<br>Currently, a smart monitoring technology has been attracting particular attention in the factory automation fields regarding the Internet of things (IoT). Particularly in the machining site, the technology of monitoring the processing phenomenon in precision and real-time is required for abnormality detection or adaptive control. The system applies CAD/CAM techniques to develop the complicated surface and multi-axis machining NC program of femoral stem by inputting a group of geometric data provided from surgeon. In this paper, the medical image of the hip obtained according to the patient X-rays. The geometric parameters for femoral stem were established based on the canal flare index. The necessary constrains based on surgical experience were integrate into the developed parametric geometry. The interference-free toolpath and the cutter location for multi-axis NC machining are generated. In order to establish the interface between the design and the manufacture of femoral stem, the postprocessor for multi-axis machine tool is developed.

碩士<br>國立清華大學<br>電機工程學系<br>100<br>In this thesis, an system-on-chip (SoC) testbed integrated with 2-transmitter-antennas 2- receiver-antennas (2T2R) WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability Microwave Access) RF (Radio Frequency) module and IP (intellectual property) cores for MIMO-OFDMA (multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiple access) transceiver of IEEE802.16e standard is presented. The proposed testbed consisted of digital hardware design, ARM software design, WiMAX RF module and SoC platform. The digital hardware and ARM software design have been synthesized and verified completely. In this published, provided a complete system testbed for WiMAX communications, which integrated with WiMAX RF module and modulated by 3-wire control software to achieve wireless transmission. Moreover, designers could use an efficient strategy of platform-based design to deal with product complexity and time-to-market problems. Furthermore, SoC platform-based design minimized the unreliability of verification that extremely reduce design costs and risks. In this proposed testbed, used the figure file as the transmission data. For this reason, designers would verify and observe decoded results in different viewpoints rather than verify only in bit error rate/signal-to-noise ratio (BER/SNR) waveforms. The proposed testbed achieved complete wireless transmission system, and improved the SCO of the MIMO-OFDMA transceiver, due to integrate with SoC platform which contained various multimedia. Therefore, designers could verify the WiMAX communication system directly and observe results in real time by the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. On the other hand, the proposed testbed integrated with the RF module, hence designers could verify communication algorithms in real environments.

Eight fiber Bragg gratings with 99% of reflectivity. Using the flat amplified spontaneous emission and arrayed waveguide grating, to produce eight reasonably flat output wavelength to achieve consistent quality output signals. In this study, we using the amplified spontaneous emission light source are fixed at current 300 mA and 500 mA, respectively, and adjusting the different lengths of erbium doped fiber to find the best flat. This experiment compare erbium doped fiber with different lengths of 1m, 3m, 4.5m, 5m, 8m and 10m for optimal band flatness. Finding the minimum insertion loss and the best flatness in which one input and output of arrayed waveguide grating, therefore, it can promote the light source flatness of final experiment. In this paper, we design and of flattened light source for multi-system integration. In the experimental result, we can know the best amplified spontaneous emission light source at the current 300 mA and EDF length 4.5 m with the flatness of 0.29 dB. Finding the minim insertion loss and the best flatness input and output of arrayed waveguide grating are both of port6. The experiment result, we have achieved the high flatten of output light source of 1.79 dB.

In this thesis, we implement a bi-directional amplifier according to the characteristic of the OFDM signal, and such amplifier can be used to extend the service range for the IEEE 802.11g systems. The bi-directional amplifier basically consists of the power amplifier (PA), the low noise amplifier (LNA), the auto gain control (AGC) circuit and the time division duplex (TDD) scheme. This paper has detailed the design of these parts, especially the effects of amplifier’s nonlinearities on the OFDM signal. Finally, the bi-directional amplifier is fully integrated in the IEEE 802.11g system, the testing result shows a significant improvement on the usage range. The proposed system is therefore making a wireless infrastructure an even better alternative for circumstances where the wired network is inappropriate.

However, the manufacturing and assembly errors of the rotating axes of the 5-axis machine are difficult to be measured and compensated by CNC software later on. In this thesis, a methodology for estimating the assembly and kinematic errors for the rotating axes in the B-C configuration. The assembly and kinematic error of the 3 linear axes (X, Y, Z) of 5-axis CNC machine are assumed to be measured by the Laser linear measuring instrument and perfectly corrected by the homogenous coordinate transformation matrix in the CNC controller and the assembly and kinematic error of linear axes are neglected in this study. In this thesis, we develop a methodology combining the double-ball bar and the coordinate measuring on certain standard parts to estimate the assembly and kinematic errors of the B-C rotary table. Based on the estimated assembly and kinematic errors, homogeneous coordinate transformation matrix from machine base to the workpiece are derived and verified in the numerical examples. There are at least 24 assembly and kinematic errors for the B-C rotary table and each error is represented as a polynomial function. With specified double-ball bar setups and motion paths, totally 108 coefficients of error polynomials are approximately fitted by the least-square-error method. Several numerical examples are presented to verify the validation of the proposed methodology for estimating and compensating the assembly and manufacturing errors of the B-C rotary table.

碩士<br>國立清華大學<br>通訊工程研究所<br>99<br>近年來,正交分頻多工(OFDM, orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing)因其對於頻率選擇性通道的高抵抗性及高頻譜使用效率,已經成為眾多無線通訊協定的核心技術。另一方面,由於特殊應用需求或成本考量,有別於集中式多輸出多輸入(centralized MIMO, centralized multiple-input multiple-output)技術,聯合多個單天線裝置以構成虛擬天線陣列的合作式多輸出多輸入(cooperative MIMO)技術正受到產、學、研各界的極大關注。由於參與合作的各節點分散於空間中,其所傳送之訊號將於不同時間點抵達接收端,並受到不同的載波頻率偏移(CFO, carrier frequency offset)所影響。因此,相較於centralized MIMO系統,cooperative MIMO系統的同步技術開發實更具挑戰性。 在此論文中,我們針對cooperative MIMO系統提出兩種新的子頻帶訓練序列設計和同步架構。在第三章中,我們首先提出一種基於高斯脈波的訓練序列架構;有別於傳統訓練訊號只在時間或頻率上作區隔,此新訓練序列架構在時間與頻率上均被隔開,以顯著降低訓練序列間的交互干擾。此外,由於我們所提出的訓練序列架構於時間上有所區隔,不需帶通濾波器之輔助即可用以估測多組時間與頻率偏移,同時亦可利用頻率上之區隔特性完成整數CFO的調整與通道估測。為了降低運算複雜度且維持一定的同步效能,我們亦提供適當選擇同步演算法互相關視窗大小的方法。另一方面,我們提出的訓練訊號繼承了高斯脈波的高功率峰均比(PAPR, peak to average power ratio)的特性,經過實際功率放大器之後可能會遭受相當大的失真。針對此問題,我們對如何降低此訓練序列的PAPR進行討論,並藉由模擬呈現實際功率放大器所造成的影響。整體而言,我們提出的同步架構優於傳統作法,尤其當參與合作的節點數越多時,其效能改善更為顯著。在第四章中,我們提出另一種基於不完全的Zadoff-Chu序列的子頻帶訓練序列,此設計除同時在時域與頻域分隔之外,亦有適中之功率峰均比。因此,在我們於第三章中發展的同步演算法可直接套用在此訓練序列架構上。電腦模擬結果顯示,基於不完全Zadoff-Chu序列的訓練序列設計優於基於高斯脈波之設計。

The scarcity of spectrum resources and the poor spectrum utilization urges the re-examination of old spectrum allocation policies. The concept of spectrum pooling enables public access to a common spectrum pool which is comprised of several licensed frequency bands hosted by licensed users. Rental users can access the unused frequency bands in the common pool with the permission of the licensed users. However, spectrum pooling requires the improvement of control and infrastructure framework for the licensed users, which makes the implementation inflexible. On the contrary, cognitive radio (CR), which allows unlicensed users (or usually called secondary users in CR networks) to access the available spectrum autonomously, provides a more feasible solution to improve spectrum efficiency. Moreover, a CR system incorporating orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)/orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) transmission can perform spectrum access in a highly flexible and adaptable manner to maximize spectrum efficiency; meanwhile, the multicarrier modulation technique can also achieve a reliable high data rate transmission. Therefore, an OFDM/OFDMA-based CR system has become a promising solution to solve the spectrum crowding and spectrum deficiency problems. In this dissertation, design challenges of an OFDM/OFDMA-based CR system are investigated. To overcome the interference problem caused by licensed users (or usually called primary users in CR networks) in spectrum sensing, a degree of freedom (DoF)-based spectral detector that is applicable to wideband strong interference environments is proposed. By exploiting the DoF obtained from spectral estimation, the proposed detector provides a higher DoF for the improvement of detection performance. Besides, the detector can perform two-phase sensing with adjustable spectral resolution. This makes the system robust to strong interference environments and compatible with wideband spectrum sensing applications. Moreover, to achieve a reliable and flexible OFDM transmission in a CR system, multiple access schemes and synchronization issues should be considered. In this dissertation, a multiuser OFDMA system, which can offer both uplink and downlink communications, is presented. For downlink communications, the proposed receiver consists of carrier frequency offset (CFO)/sampling frequency offset (SFO) estimation/compensation, channel estimation/equalization, and sampling add/drop function for symbol timing synchronization. As for uplink communications, a configurable (for single-input singleoutput (SISO)/multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and OFDM/OFDMA communications) and power efficient multiuser MIMO-OFDMA baseband processor will be considered. To solve the CFO problem in multiuser transmission, an inter-carrier interference (ICI)-based CFO estimator is implemented based on an iterative search criterion of maximum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). Compared to state-of-theart methods, the proposed CFO estimator is more robust to transmission configurations (MIMO and multiuser) and CFO variations. Moreover, the authors propose an efficient architecture that reduces the hardware complexity by 78% compared to the direct implementation architecture by employing Taylor series expansion for ICI/multipleaccess interference (MAI) cancellation. Meanwhile, a 2D linear channel estimator is also proposed to assist the CFO estimator and track the time-variant multipath channel. Two kinds of MIMO detector, vertical Bell Laboratory layered space-time (V-BLAST) and V-BLAST with maximum likelihood (V-ML), are adopted to minimize output latency and achieve the best ML bit-error-rate (BER) performance. An application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) fabricated by 0.13 μm 1P8M CMOS technology is measured with 2.31 Mbps/mW power efficiency and less than 1.5 dB implementation loss. In addition, the whole transceiver is integrated and verified by a system-on-chip (SoC) platform to demonstrate its efficacy.

Nevertheless, still few people can express clearly the meaning of TEEM. Besides, it’s seldom to introduce TEEM by multimedia techniques. The investigation review the studies on TEEM and using the multimedia techniques to constitute a funny and joyful teaching materials. The people can get a deep impression to understand the advantages of TEEM after the learning of the teaching materials. An example of TEEM at Da-Gou is introduced in the multimedia teaching materials. The facilities, concepts, designs and predicted functions, etc., can be found on the teaching materials. 碩士<br>國立清華大學<br>通訊工程研究所<br>99<br>在資訊傳輸快速發展的時代,無線通訊系統已經廣泛地被人們使用來互通有無。其中,無線傳輸使用者迅速地增加以及可攜式通訊裝置因其功能受到電池的限制,使得能源損耗問題長久以來受到熱切的關注。在多使用者多頻帶的通訊系統下,本篇論文探討在維持一定傳輸品質下,如何妥善地利用通道的特性並將有限的資源(如功率、頻帶)有效率地分配以達到diversity 的發揮。因此,如何節省能源消耗成為本篇論文重要的研究方向。本篇論文中,我們提出兩種資源分配的方法,PRSS 和OGPS 演算法,在正交多頻分工調變(ODFM)通訊系統中,實現多使用者的diversity 並進一步地最佳化能源效益,而不同的使用者被假設在每一個不同頻帶經歷獨立的Rayleigh 訊號衰減。資源分配問題藉由傳輸速度條件的放寬而被重新列式成convex 的形。 在維持一定通訊品質(QoS)及錯誤率的情況下,所提出來的演算法根據此convex問題的最佳化結果重新分配頻帶和功率來滿足每個使用者最低傳輸速率的要求並達到最小的全部功率耗損。模擬結果顯示所提出的演算法與傳統資源分配方法比較後發現能夠更有效地利用diversity 來大幅地減少功率耗損,而當用戶數增加或可分配資源減少時,PRSS 和OGPR 演算法將更有效率地達到節能的目的。而所提出的方法在維持一定計算複雜度的情況下達到目前最佳的分配結果。其中,PRSS 演算法雖然需要比OGPR 演算法多耗費7%的能源,卻能使複雜度下降一半,如何在能源損耗和複雜度間取得平衡也將是未來值得探討的方向。

However, the properties that make them appeal to use also create a major challenge in machining due to their high hardness and brittleness. As a result, nontraditional machining techniques such as electrical discharge machining (EDM) and laser machining must be employed. Furthermore, it is too expensive to use laser machining. Thus EDM is rapidly becoming an indispensable process for machining and shaping the special materials such as hardmetals, advanced ceramics, composites and so on. Therefore, because it is difficulty to machine the W/Cu composites which are hard and brittle with conventional machining methods leading the tools wear and material damage.. So electrical discharge machining for the W/Cu composites is now considered to be one of the most important methods which the manufacturing industries need to be addressed. In this experiment shows four categories: (1) Taguchi method was required to efficiently determine the optimum conditions for obtaining an extremely high material removal rate, low electrode wear rate, fine surface roughness, respectively; (2) Taguchi method is not well at handling the problems of multiple quality characteristics. The fuzzy inference technique is comparatively better than the Taguchi’s in dealing with the multiple quality evaluation since the latter one is adopted usually in dealing with the single quality evaluation. Thus, an integrated consideration from both different methods is proposed herein to inherit benefits from both ones to accelerate the optimization process; (3) Experimental results are presented to interpret the proposed approach and (4) Finally, the experiment is conducted to understand the surface transformation and HAZ in W/Cu composites after EDM. It is found that the pulse energy correlates with surface characteristics, such as surface morphology, surface roughness, thickness of HAZ and microhardness.

The conventional OFDM system uses rectangular windows at transceivers, so the spectrum has strong and slowly decreasing side-lobes. Windowing is a method to reduce the side-lobes. In this thesis, two types of transmitting windowing, non-overlapping and overlapping windowing, are designed to minimize the guard band energy of transmitter output. The non-overlapping windowing bases on non-rectangular function and a corresponding post-processing matrix is needed for restoring the ISI-free system. In this case, SNR loss has to be traded for the out-of-band improvement. In the other case, the overlapping windowing uses longer cyclic extension to smoothen the transition parts of windows. So we trade some data rate for the out-of-band improvement. Receiving windowing can also use the redundant samples not affected by channel to improve the reception of system. We will see that stair-case window is optimal for minimizing the received AWGN power. We will also see that the inclusion of a receiver window leads to a lower BER floor in the presence of frequency offset.

It also analyzed the effects of multiple quotients and work performance from different background respondents, and the results as a reference of future human resource management. Researcher invited eight engineers from Y technology company of Hsinchu Science Park as samples to interview and conducted two-months qualitative research. After analyzing the materials of interviews, the result of this study are as follows: First, the health quotient has a positive influence on work performance. Regular exercise is a positive and effective self-health management, through participation in leisure activities can also enhance social interaction, and easy get team members’ assist, enhance performance. Second, the intelligence quotient has a positive influence on work performance. With high intelligence quotient can shorten the start time of adaptation and learning, but they still need to have a willingness to learn and good teamwork, in order to have good performance at work. Third, the technology quotient has a positive influence on work performance. Focused on effective use of latest technology to integrate internal and external resources, and make good knowledge management. Not only increase work performance of R&D staff, but also the organization's resources and the intangible value to obtain synergistic benefits. Fourth, the emotional quotient has a positive influence on work performance. Within the organization to provide appropriate staff communication channels to ease the negative emotions, and a comfortable working environment and improve the leave system, help to improve performance. Fifth, according to the need of job function, creativity quotient has a positive influence on work performance. In the market of new product technology, R&D engineer tend to agree the importance of creativity. R&D engineers with creativity characteristic are more easily sent in new technology research. Mostly university graduated engineers engaged in test work, compared with master's graduated engineers engage in front-end research, no need creativity. Sixth, Adversity Quotient has a positive influence on work performance. High Adversity Quotient who has the courage to try and overcome the difficulties, is able to solve the problem and achieve the task of organization. Seven, moral quotient has a positive influence on work performance, particular emphasis on responsibility to achieve the task. If there is conflict between personal morality and professional ethics, companies benefit is required to the position of top priority. Eight, art quotient have some positive influence on work performance. That the emphasis on R&D personnel for the performance of the external image is not so important, as long as you can focus on clean and tidy, but for regular contact with clients, the personal image also represents the company's image, the arts help to enhance the performance quotient. In addition, increase aesthetic environment in workplace, not only help to release pressure, but also increase work efficiency. Nine, age, sex and education level of diversity did not have significantly influence of the quotient. Therefore, both in recruiting and internal staff development, it should be reduced the limit of age, gender or education level, if the quotient of their expertise and diverse characteristics meet the requirements of the position. Before the coupler fusion process starting, we have to set the appropriate energy coupling cycle number (Peak Number) that decides the coupling region length and 20 nm channel spacing directly. As the heating process finished then we can use micro pulling skill to carry out a little adjustment. The adjustment will help us to correct to the coupler channel central wavelength correctly and also offer one chance for coupling ratio selecting. Micro pulling adjustment is a very important process for 1x2 CWDM fiber coupler cascade to 1xN CWDM fiber coupler , these adjustments can not only increase the cascade coupler channel isolation but also improve the passband width.
