Abstract The rapid variation and renovation of internet technology enables fast information circulation and frequent connection among people. Besides traditional ways of communication, the innovative internet technology as communicative media is also available now. The purpose of the study is to explore the relationship between the use of communicative media of junior high school teaching and administrative staff and the level of communication satisfaction results from the employment of communicative media. The subjects are public school teaching and administrative staff from Kaohsiung City and Kaohsiung County. Questionnaire survey is adopted in this study, 792 effective questionnaires among the total 912 questionnaires are retrieved. After the collection of the material, statistics packaged software SPSS10.0 for windows are used to process such as descriptive statistics、one-way ANOVA、t test、Chi-Square、point-biserial correlation. The results are summarized as the following: 1. The types of communicative media used by junior high school teaching and administrative staff: (1) Low use rate of internet-communicative medium by junior high school teaching and administrative staff, most of them are accustomed to traditional communicative media. (2) Face-to-face communication is the most frequently used traditional communicative medium. (3)E-mail is the most frequently used internet-communicative media. 2. The communication satisfaction status quo of school teaching and administrative staff: (1) The increased satisfaction of communication satisfaction situation of junior high school teaching and administrative staff of Kaohsiung City and Kaohsuing County. (2) The highest score goes to “the communication between colleagues”, and the lowest score goes to “the general organization communication”. (3) Significant differences exist on the scores of different genders. The male get higher scores. (4) The teaching and administrative staff of remote area feel more satisfied in general communication satisfaction than the ones from county villages and towns. 3. The comparison of the differences between communicative media and general communication satisfaction: (1) Different types of communicative media lead to significant differences of general communication satisfaction. (2) The staff who use internet as communicative medium get higher score on general communication satisfaction than the ones who use traditional communicative media. 4. The comparison of the differences between personal factors and the types of communicative media: (1) Regardless of gender, age, seniority, and position, there are no significant differences between the communicative media they use. (2) Different teaching background leads to different communicative media. 5. The comparison of the differences between school factors and types of communicative media: (1) No significant difference appears on the relationship between school location and the types of communicative media. (2) Significant difference appears on the relationship between school scale and the types of communicative media. 6. The analysis between the types of communicative media and the communication satisfaction discovers: significant standard exists on the relationship between the difference of communicative media and the communication satisfaction. There’s significant relationship between the two factors. This study explores the influence of military sergeant officers on the motivation, recognition, cognition and satisfaction of recruiting soldiers by using Facebook. It was used to investigate the questionnaires of military sergeant officers. 362 formal questionnaires were sent out and 350 valid questionnaires were sent. Statistical analysis methods include narrative statistics, reliability analysis, factor analysis, t-test, single-factor analysis of variance, regression analysis. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) Different places of residence have significant influence on the identity of the media. (2) Different places of residence to the community media to see the motive of recruiting messages have a significant impact. (3) Different educational backgrounds have significant influence on the identity of the recruiting community media. (4) The motive of community media watching recruiting messages has a significant influence on the degree of policy understanding of the media. (5) The level of understanding of the policy has a significant effect on the identity of the media. (6) The degree of satisfaction of the media about the policy and the media use of the recruiting system. The study suggests that the Department of Defense or the various services to strengthen the interaction between facebook and sergeant officers to enhance the motivation of recruiting messages, recognition and satisfaction. In addition, the average, Taichung, Changhua and Nantou’s average of 3.22 is higher than other area of residence. The Ministry of Defense or the military services should be increased to the district towns and cities to promote military recruitment of new blood information to improve the motives and recognition of the people to join the army. Finally, the high school, vocational and specialist average of 2.98 higher than the university and master. Recommended, that the Department of Defense or the service can be designed for different educational background of the target ethnic groups in order to attract people for the national army of recognition.

Peter Drucker (1995, p.5) has said that knowledge is “the key economic resource and the dominant – and perhaps even the only source of comparative advantage.” In this pursuit, obtaining and possessing knowledge become critical for enterprises in this knowledge economic era. To effective and efficiently achieve knowledge learning and transferring, the information technology (IT)-based learning enabler, such as e-learning forum, has been adopted to fulfill this goal. With the aid of e-learning forum, employees can learn beyond the limitation of time, place, and facility. In addition, it brings the benefit for the enterprise in training cost reduction. Thus, using e-learning forum to facilitate employee knowledge absorption has been well adopted by the enterprises and becomes a good strategy in market competing. Recently, many of the nation-owned enterprises have been changed into private-held organizations upon the economic depression and global competition. With this transformation, these organizations have to train their employees not only reinforce the knowledge that they have possessed, but also to learning new knowledge to ensure their competitive ability in globalization settings. With this emphasis, many organizations adopt e-learning forum and believe that this modern IT-based learning media can help them in achieving their goals. However, the organization reformation, from nation-owned to private-held, brings a big impact for the staffs that were job guaranteed for their life long before, yet, are under the risk of losing their job now. This force makes the employees’ psychological agreement which they had with the nation-owned organization change entirely. They have to adjust to form a new psychological agreement with the new organization which is extremely hard for these staffs to do so. As the result, it can harm their commitment of the policy whichever drove by the organization such as using e-learning forum to help employees in gaining new knowledge. Thus, employee’s psychological agreement with the new organization can be the critical factor in success the adoption of e-learning forum. In this research, we conduct two-phase study. First, we perform an interview with the experts who push e-learning forum as the knowledge obtaining media in the organizations that have transformation from public- to private-owned to establish out research model. Second, we conduct a survey to test this research model in understanding the relationship between employee’s psychological agreements and the employee’s intention of using e-learning forum in knowledge obtaining. The research findings While popularizing the scientific and technological platform to use, because the head, as consider the impact of personal psychological agreements of staff. The research findings will provide the suggestions for managers in driving the modern IT-based adoption which employees’ psychological agreements have been changed.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships of news media use and political knowledge and their changes over time among voters in Taiwan. Political knowledge, by definition, is categorized into structural and non-structural ones. Data were from four national surveys in 1995 and 1998’s National Chengchi University Election Study Center’s surveys, and the 2001 and 2004’s Taiwan’s Election and Democratization Study during legislative elections, respectively. Data analysis shows that since 1995 till 2004, political knowledge and non-structural political knowledge are both slightly decreasing, but the variation of structural political knowledge is relatively stable. Attention to newspaper news is steady but attention to television news is decreasing. Gender, level of education, and attention to newspaper news all positively predict structural and non-structural political knowledge in the four data sets. Male, highly educated people, and those with higher attention to newspaper news have more political knowledge. Party identification significantly predicts non-structural political knowledge but not structural political knowledge. Attention to television news positively predicts non-structural political knowledge. What is noteworthy is that in 2004, attention to news media first time shows no significant relationship with political knowledge. Take a closer look at relationships between various predictor variables and different types of political knowledge. Our results show that attention to news media strongly predicts political knowledge; level of education highly predicts structural political knowledge; attention to news media effectively predicts non-structural political knowledge. However, attention to newspaper is a better predictor variable in predicting political knowledge.

Since mass media has distorted ethnic groups in the news for a long time, this study examines how teenagers perceive the south-east foreign brides and their children and the relation between teenagers’ racial perceptions and media use. Therefore, teenagers’ interpersonal contact with the south-east foreign brides’ children is also a variable in the study so that we can further examine the effect of interpersonal contact toward teenagers’ racial perception and attitude. Using a random sample technique, a total of 550 teenagers were surveyed in 2008. The results of the study showed that teenagers perceived the south-east migration as the negatives, others, social problems and inabilities. In addition, the more television news exposure and attention teenagers have, the more negative perception toward the south-east migration teenagers hold. As for the newspaper, the more newspaper exposure teenagers have, the more positive perception toward the south-east migration teenagers hold. However, there’s no identical result in terms of the internet. Future research may find out how the internet impact the audience’s racial perception if the internet content is measured.
