This paper proposed the improvement of the refrigerant flow control method by using an electronic expansion valve (EEV) which is driven by a stepper motor together with variable speed compressor in air-source heat pump system. An Electronic Expansion Valve, EEV can make a quick response and precision to the abrupt change in the refrigerant flow rate during the change in heat pump load. The flow rate characteristic of the EEV for air-source heat pump system was presented. A controller based on ARDUINO, which is designed use to receive the input signal and generate the output signal to control the opening/closing of the EEV and the speed of compressor. In this paper the cascade control method is employed to achieved precision control. Experimental results show that the new control method can satisfy refrigerant flow into the evaporator in various operations. The pressure and temperature of evaporator are able to maintain constant as compared with the conventional PID control scheme. Traditional PID control algorithm is difficultly to achieve Set-point Tracking and Disturbance Rejection at the same time. For this reason, we use three different control strategies coupled with PWM technique to compare performance.

Since the risks faced by the modern enterprises are changeable, the laws and stipulations are obsolete and outdated, the resources, costs and benefits used by the enterprises organizations are subject to change, and therefore the enterprises have to carry out the risk management in order to be able to adapt the future changes in situations. The major targets for the enterprises to implement the risk management are for the purposes of reducing the anxiety, conforming to the outside stipulations and fulfilling the social responsibilities sincerely before the losses occur; surviving, operating continually, maintaining the incomes and continuing to grow, etc. if the losses should occur. However, the enterprises often run their business diversified and even operate the specific business activities everywhere, that will make their risk management more complex. This article intends to be written in the view of practical experiences to engage in the risk management, loss prevention and control as well as the assists of theory foundations, depicts the implementations of goals, strategies, procedures, plans and performance evaluations, etc. in risk management, loss prevention and control, anticipating various enterprises to identify and measure the risks by means of selecting and executing the risk management methods which conform to the utmost economical benefits for the goals of running businesses continually. Next, in the case where the writer personally carried out the safety management systems and safety survey service plans of loss prevention and control in group enterprises illustrates the meaning of loss control management, the identification, analysis and evaluation of risk, and the implementation, the verification and performance evaluation of loss control management, etc. Finally, as the member of implementing enterprises risk management and loss prevention and control, the writer examines the past working processes and experiences to offer some recommendations, expecting to throw stones and bring back jade to let much more organizations, enterprises and the parties concerned think highly of and enforce the proactive risk control and loss control management.

This project intends to improve the performance of the induction motor drive system such that induction motor can be used in low-speed high-torque application. Due to the lack of high-generated torque of general induction motor drives in low speed region, some gear mechanisms are used to obtain a high torque/low speed characteristic in induction motor drive system. Therefore this project tries to improve the existing direct torque control methods of induction motors so that the gear mechanisms can be removed from the induction motor drive systems. To improve the existing direct torque control methods, this project will propose a new switching strategy for the moved vector-based direct torque control witch one-line stator resistance estimation and flux compensation algorithm and a zero speed control algorithm . The possibility of this project will be firstly verified by MATLAB software simulations. Then a DSP-based hardware experimental system will be built to test the performance of the proposed control method.

The purposes of this study were to explore the relationship between the volition control strategies and the acdemic achievement , and to sum up the meanings of the Children’s Volition Control Strategies Inventory (CVCSI). The volition control strategies were divided into four domains:the Congnitive Control Strategy(CCS)、the Emotion Control Strategy(EmCS)、the Motivation Control Strategy(MCS),and the Environmental Control Strategies(EnCS). The samples were selected from grade 4 to grade 6 students from elementary schools in Taipei county and Taipei city. Beside conducting a self-made standardized Inventory, the researcher gathered relevant data by a questionnaire and a half-structured interview . Data obtained in this study were analyzed by ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation. The main findings were as follows: 1. With regard to the difference among grade 4,5 and 6 students: Significant differences in CVCSI were found among different grade students. Grade 4 students got higher scores in all the four strategies than Grade 6 students . Grade 5 students got higher scores than Grade 6 students in the CCS , MCS ,and EnCS. 2. With regard to the difference between boys and girls: In all of the four domains of the CVCSI, girls got higher scores than boys significantly. 3. With regard to the parent concern about children’s learning: Significant differences in CVCSI were found among highly concerned group , moderately concerned group , and little concerned group. Highly concerned group got higher CVCSI scores than moderately concerned group, moderately concerned group got higher CVCSI scores than little concerned group, and highly concerned group got higher CVCSI scores than little concerned group . 4. The students’ scores in CVCSI were positively correlated with their scores in the academic achievement ,which were defined by the subject scores they got in Chinese and Math. The scores in CVCSI could interpret the total variation of the academic achievement from the range of 6% to 10%. In the end of the paper, the researcher gave some relevant suggestions to both teaching and advanced research.

This paper investigates how to apply the "noise feedforward" method to a practical system to improve the traditional linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) regulator design for the stochastic system, Since noise measurment is usually difficult, this paper presents two methods of the noise estimator design so that the estimated noise can be used in noise feedforward to reduce the effects of the stochastic disturbance on the system.   The methods in control strategy design associate noise feed-forward with linear quadratic Gaussian method and are applied to a regulator design for the submarine autopilot. Simulation results show how the vertical plane movement of the submarine near the surface of a choppy sea is improved.

The purpose of this study is to understand Selenide process of thin film solar module. We can know the concentration of selenium and how much particle was breath by the employees. The group can be separated to general employee and Productive Maintenance employee. The analysis of sampling results can let us know the concentration and we can survey the improve skills. First, we set the CPC close to the selenide process chamber, about 30cm, height 150cm. To realize the particle separated situation within the process and maintenance. Base on the collected data, we can continue to sample the Environmental sampling and personal exposure sampling. The sample will use quality analysis, after quality analysis, next step is compare with CPC data. The results show us, particle separation situation is not obvious during selenium process. But, the particle separation situation is found after the selenium process. We found the particle separation was caused by the chamber door opened, routine clean. According to the result, we can understand the exposure concentration of selenium particle. We can suggest engineering controls or administrative management of improvement strategies exposed. The purposes of this study were: (1) to investigate the influence of lost resources and control strategies for depression in young adult and old adult. Furthermore, to explore that the relation between lost resources and depression was direct or mediated by control strategies. (2) to find out whether the way that different kinds of lost resources and control strategies influence depression will be varied from different developmental stages or not. Subjects of 260 Adults in Taiwan (132 young adults and 128 old adults) were evaluated by the instruments, including resources evaluation scale, control strategy scale, and Beck Depression Items (BDI). The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and path analysis. The main findings were as follows: 1. Losses of material resources could not predict depression in both age groups. 2. In young adults, losses of family support resources predict depression directly; but the relation between energy resources and depression was mediated by active coping strategy, which means the more energy resources lose, the less active coping strategies were used, and the more depression were reported. 3. In old adults, losses of family support resources predict depression directly and indirectly, which means the more family support resources lose, the less active coping and lowering aspiration strategies were used, and the more depression were reported. 4. As to the relation between control strategies and depression, active coping strategies could predict depression in both age groups, which means the subjects using more active coping strategies had less depression. Lowering aspiration strategies could predict depression only in old adults. In other words, the old adults using more lowering aspiration strategies had more depression. According to the findings, some suggestions for the mental health of young adults and old adults, as well as for further study were provided.

Abstract There has been a profound evolution in thinking about multinational corporations (MNCs) during the past 10 years in Taiwan. As these overseas subsidiaries grew in size and developed their own unique resources, however, it became apparent to many researchers that corporate headquarters was no longer the sole source of competitive advantage for the MNCs. Therefore, scholars developed model such as the heterarchy and transnational to reflect the critical role played by subsidiaries. Furthermore, global expansion into countries with one or more of these will require MNCs to pay added attention to how they control subsidiary. These environmental factors, internationalization stage and the typology of subsidiary roles are reviewed and synthesized into a integrative model to help MNCs diagnose these influences and choose the appropriate control mechanisms. The purpose of this research is to develop a management framework at the subsidiary level in MNCs. In this framework, we categorize MNC''s strategic role, organizational configuration and control mechanisms at the subsidiary level and investigate the relationships between them. Then, the analysis of the determinants of MNC''s strategic role, organizational configuration and control mechanisms are undertaken. Finally, the relationships of business performances with subsidiary''s environmental factor, subsidiary''s management factor, strategic role, organizational configuration and control mechanisms are also investigated. Using a samples of Taiwanese MNCs who have subsidiaries operating in foreign, we test a set of hypotheses among the variables. The results reveal that there are significant relationship between strategic role (including degree of integration and degree of localization), organizational configuration (including degree of resource dependence and degree of delegation) and control mechanisms (including personnel management, training & development, administration management, cultural management and performance management control). However, their relationships are also moderated by subsidiary''s cultural differences. Additionally, using the Logistic regression we shows that industries, environmental uncertainty, parent- subsidiary communication, degree of integration, degree of localization, the degree of resource dependence are among the most significant impact factors for the systems of control combinations. Futhermore, environmental uncertainty, the capacity of resource, subsidiary''s entrepreneurial culture, personnel management control, training & development control have positive effects on subsidiary''s perceived objective actualization. Finally, internationalization stage, subsidiary''s autonomy, degree of integration, cultural management control and performance management control have positive effects on subsidiary''s perceived activity satisfaction.

ABSTRACT Amid the intensive competitive economic environment, the headquarter of a multi-business enterprise cannot attend daily operation process, however, to optimize the resource allocation and utilization by monitoring operation process and business performance, the headquarter of a multi-business enterprise have to assist business unit in formulating an effective strategy by strategic-oriented principle. This research is aiming to investigate how a multi-business enterprise toward its business vision and enhanced it’s performance through strategic control when facing such a complicated organization structure and management environment. Research Objective: 1.Investigate how a multi-business enterprise develop headquarter strategy and establish strategic control mechanism. 2.Study how a multi-business enterprise evaluates and monitors the execution result of each business unit’s strategic goal and establishes the best practice of performance management procedure. In general, this research is summarized as follows: 1.Investigate how a multi-business enterprise developed headquarter strategy and established strategic control mechanism. To pursue the synergy of each business unit, capability transfer, and resource sharing mechanism, a multi-business enterprise which adopts strategic control should seek to optimize asset allocation based on the nature of corporate asset and industry segment, and determine clear business scope and business direction. The headquarter should also lead or evaluate the strategy and management process of inter-business unit, define and adjust the objective of headquarter and business unit, and build a self-initiative organic enterprise. 2.Study how a multi-business enterprise evaluate and monitor the execution result of each business unit’s strategic goal and establish the best practice of performance management procedure. (1). How to establish an efficient performance measuring system in a multi-business enterprise: A successful ERP system with quick response and integrated functionalities, which provides immediate and transparent management information is needed. Moreover, a clear segregation of duties for a responsibility accounting system, an accurate definition and guidelines for business structure, internal transaction pricing principle and financial performance indicators are of important. In addition to a complete process of strategy plan can an annual plan of strategic planning target and budgeting process fulfilled. Once a performance management system was linked to a reward system, targets of an organization can be achieved. Performance indicators of a reward system are depended on group and personal target achievement, both financial & non-financial target achievement. (2) Solid results of using strategic control mechanism for performance management in business units Deriving from trend of key performance indicators in an individual business unit, there is a slight improvement of sales growth, cost reduction, net profit, and asset turnover ratio in a transitional stage (1999-2001) and a strong growth after clear strategy setting (2001-2002). The reasons are as followed: (A).Growth of performance and management focus can be made after formulating strategy of an individual business unit. (B).Although there’s still no clear long-term strategy during 2-years transitional stage (1999-2001), using annual objective management method directly, selecting indicators of balance score card, and focusing on upgrading operational efficiency can also improve business performance. Only that the growth rate is not so impressed comparing to the later year of strategy focusing stage. (C). After two-years of implementing “balance score card”, “objective management”, staffs have taken cognizant of the importance of the purpose in performance management, and also improve his/her competence in task focusing and target setting capabilities. Thus, strategic targets can be efficiently deployed from top-down.

The purpose of this research is to compare the differences between junior high school remedial and normal students in epistemological beliefs, academic motivation, action control, and learning strategies. The research participants in this study were the seventh, eighth, and ninth graders of the eighteen junior high schools in Taoyuan. 311 of the subjects were normal students and 300 attended the fourth section remedial courses in 2014. The questionnaires and scales were conducted to examine junior high school students’ epistemological beliefs, academic motivation, action control, and learning strategies. The independent-sample t-test was used to present the significant differences between remedial and normal students in these four variables in order to analyze the influences among the four variables by using structural equation modeling. Results of this study showed that there was no significant difference between remedial and normal students’ attitudes and interests of academic motivation, affective and situational control of action control among the scales. Meanwhile, the significant difference existed in the other eleven scales. The influential paths of structural modeling of the two groups are similar ─ Epistemological beliefs may influence their learning strategies through academic motivation and action control. Finally, according to the research results, the related applications and suggestions are provided.
