作为境内外贸易的重要中转站，港口在国民经济体系中具有重要的地位。随着海洋的优势被发现，各个国家陆续把海洋港口作为经济贸易的重要窗口。港口作为全球综合运输网络的节点，其功能不断拓宽，在发展现代物流中扮演着越来越重要的角色。为顺应经济全球化的需要，现代港口需要总体上建立起港口物流中心，不断完善其物流职能，并通过物流的绩效评价，完善和健全港口的现代物流服务模式。数据包络分析DEA方法为物流与供应链领域中的绩效评价、物流效率比较提供了一个有效的工具。本文以东南亚国家的12个典型港口为样本对象，通过DEA方法计算出这些港口物流的相对效率和基本分类。在数据分析的基础上，研究这12个港口在投入产出效率方面所存在的问题，找出不同港口效率不足的原因，并根据不同港口所存在的不同问题提出改进方向，以及增进物流效率的方法与建议。

Abstract:

本文将围绕朝鲜殖民地时期（1910–1945年）华侨纺织品进口商的贸易渠道展开研究。英国平纹坯布及棉纱等被日本产取代后，华侨纺织品进口商在20世纪30年代初依然垄断着英国产漂白坯布的进口市场，并通过各种方式引进日本产平纹坯布及棉纱。如，经大阪的日本纺织品批发商及川口华商行栈引进；或经朝鲜国内的日本纺织品批发商转卖等。这标志着上海从开港时期的单边贸易模式已经结束，从而打开了多元化贸易的新局面。其次也阐明，在1924年奢侈品关税实施前，华侨纺织品进口商一直独霸中国丝织品的进口市场，然而在关税实施后，华商取得了日本产丝绸产地——桐生、福井地区的制造业者及批发商的认可，直接进口日本丝织品，弥补在中国产丝绸不景气之下所可能造成的损失。中国麻织品方面，因日本麻织品对朝鲜出口较少，加之至20世纪20年代止都没有向麻织品征收高额关税。因此直到1937年间，中国纺织品进口商一直独占上海的进口渠道。这一点与开港期有所不同。换言之，与开港时期相比，中国纺织品进口商不仅拓展了经营规模，并在上海设立分店。此后随着上海·仁川开设直航，中止了以往经由烟台本店的中转方式，从而转变为从上海麻纺织品批发商处直接进口。总的来说，旅居朝鲜的中国纺织品进口商不仅以京城及仁川为据点，铺开了日本大阪等地的进口贸易之路，亦兼有将购入的日本纺织品向中国再出口的销售渠道。

新加坡港口开埠之后，由于管理不当和犹豫不决，没得到很好的发展，贸易发展停滞不前，造成不少商家倒闭。随后的情势变化影响了新加坡发展。苏伊士运河开通之后，锡的出口量开始增长，但使得新加坡失去部分的转口贸易机会。因此，商人更为积极地进入马来半岛，以期开发半岛西岸的资源，其中锡矿最受到大家的注目。半岛西岸的不稳定情势，给海峡殖民地政府制造介入治理的机会。安定后的半岛西岸有利于锡的开挖。华人积极投资半岛西岸的锡矿，大量的华人矿工涌入开挖锡矿。20世纪初期，华人成为锡矿的主要投资与开挖者。锡的开挖，让不产锡的新加坡最终成为锡交易、提炼、出口的中心，带动新加坡的发展。华人投资与矿工投入开挖马来半岛西岸的锡，无疑对新加坡的贸易发展有着重要的意义。

提要南亚裔人士移居香港主要缘于英国的百年贸易和殖民地统治。面对南亚裔人口的急剧增加，但南亚裔学生却因汉语能力欠佳而较难升读大学，南亚裔学生的汉语教学遂成为香港当今最重要的教育议题之一。近年不少学者已明确指出，南亚裔中学生的汉语学习困难以 “写” 为最，“读”次之。但有关香港的南亚裔小学生的汉语学习困难仍然没有定论。本文通过测试、访谈、观课，比较 4 个地区 5 所学校 32 位香港南亚裔小三学生在写作和阅读方面的表现，又透过访谈、观课考查 10 位研究对象的汉语朗读问题。结果发现对于已掌握一定写字能力的学生而言，在阅读方面较写作有更大的 “隐忧”，而朗读由于不是 “听、说、读、写”的日常考试范围，在小学阶段没有“朗读”考试，所以更容易被忽略。文章最后提出一些改善南亚裔学生阅读和朗读表现的建议方法，希望能有效提升第二语言教师对学生这两方面“潜伏”困难的注意力，解决学生在阅读和朗读方面遇上的学习困难。

Abstract:

Global port cities have played important roles in the migration of ethnic Chinese worldwide. This article argues that the scholarship on Chinese migration between port cities in East Asia and Southeast Asia has overemphasized business and trading networks. It suggests instead that other topics should be examined since Chinese migration has been complex and multi-faceted. This article does so through analyzing the history of Nanyang studies, a Chinese-language scholarly field that is renowned among Chinese intellectuals in East Asia and Southeast Asia. Nanyang studies began with the establishment of the Nanyang Cultural Affairs Bureau at Jinan University, the first school in China for Chinese migrants, because the Bureau was the first systematic attempt by China-based scholars to study the Nanyang (Southeast Asia). This article analyzes the history of Nanyang studies from the Bureau’s founding in 1927 to 1940, when the center for Nanyang studies shifted to Singapore in the Nanyang. 全球港口城市和全球華人移民已有密切關係。本文認為，關於東亞和東南亞的港口城市之間華人移民的學術著作過度注重商業貿易網絡。它建議由於華人移民是複雜的，多方面的，所以其他議題也有重要性。因此，本文將通過南洋研究的歷史而分析華人移民。南洋研究在東亞和東南亞是個著名的學術領域。它的起源於南洋文化教育事業部之暨南大學的創辦。這是因為暨南是中國第一所華僑華人學府，而南洋文化教育事業部是中國學者第一個正式研究南洋(東南亞)的機構。本文將分析南洋研究的歷史，從成立於1927年到1940年轉移到南洋之中的新加坡為止。 (This article is in English).

本文之目的是探索香港市区旧区尤其是油尖旺区贫穷集中的情况，分析市区旧区出现贫穷集中原因，希望能引起社会人士及有关政府部门的关注，避免市区旧区「贫民窟化」的出现。这研究对统计处九六年中期人口统计有关区议会及统计规划小区的统计作资料再分析，当中会集中探讨油尖旺区的贫穷状况及需要。研究的结果显示香港的贫穷问题相当集中于乡郊区及市区旧区，而在市区旧区贫穷状况更集中于地域相当细小的社区。贫穷小社区的特色以私人楼宇及以出租单位为主，共同租户的比例非常高，而居民中老人、单身男性及新来港人士的比例较高，在劳动特徵方面，居民多是零售、批发、出入口、饮食及酒店业的服务工人及建造业的技术工人。本文指出低价私营租务房屋的供应及需求的互动，及社区经济的特色是令贫穷地域集中的原因。最後，本文建议以社区发展的手法为这些贫穷的小社区，进行扶贫作初步的建议，避免市区旧区「贫民窟化」的出现。 This study is a secondary data analysis of the 1996 Population By-census to explore and explain the geographical concentration of poverty in the old urban area in Hong Kong especially in the Yau Tsim Mong District. It suggests that poverty problem in Hong Kong is concentrated in small geographical localities in old urban areas. The characteristic of these small localities is the high ratio of households sharing a quarter with other households. More elderly, unmarried male adult and new arrival residents can be found in these poor communities. Moreover, more residents are employed as service workers and construction workers. The study reports that the concentration of poverty is a result of the interaction between the supply and demand of the low-end rental market of private housing and the development and characteristics of the community economics. Finally, this study recommends using community development as a strategy to alleviate poverty in these localities, as to prevent gettoisation of these old urban areas.

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese.Historically, sports was globally understood within the context of a masculine value system both in the Eastern and Western Societies. The 'Ying' and the 'Yang' stand for female and male in the Chinese culture implied that the female are more fragile and submissive where as the male being more aggressive and stronger. With 90% of the population in Hong Kong being Chinese, the cultural belief in a Chinese society that "Women's place should be in the home" has confined women to attend household chores and child bearing activities. In early 20th century, with the changing role of women in China and especially in Hong Kong, women are more active that they were a decade ago. Women are equal nowadays in a wide range of activities because they are better educated, play a more committed role and live a more active life. Thus, their participation in sports has increased in the past decade both in recreation and in competition. This paper attempts to report on Hong Kong women's participation in major games and also to recommend strategies which can further enhance women's place in sports.歷史上，無論東西方社會，運動廣泛地被視為屬於雄性的項目。正如中國以陰陽來代表女男一樣，女性被認為較順從和脆弱的，而男性則較強壯和具攻擊性。在九成人口都是中國人的香港社會中，「女性應該留在家裡」的觀念曾規限著女性須要處理家務和照顧孩子的責任。踏入20世紀，女性對社會事務的參與也開始積極起來。時至今日，香港的女性在多方面都能跟男性般獲得平等對待。她們不單止得到較佳的敎育機會，在社會的角色也越來越重要。因此，無論在運動比賽及健體活動上，女性的參與比十年前的大為提高。究竟香港女性過去在主要運動競賽上的參與情況和未來女性在運動發展上方針應該如何?這都是本文探討的綱領。

本文從自我決定理論 (Self Determination Theory) 的觀點出發，探討香港中學生的抱負取向（包括外在期望及內在期望）與職業生涯探索的關係。是次研究以問卷形式進行，從10間中學總共2,122名中一至中六的學生得到有效數據。結果顯示在控制了人口因素、成績及社會支持後，學生的抱負取向與職業生涯探索有顯著的關係。對比以上各項因素，發現學生的內在期望對職業生涯探索起較大的預測作用。最後，本文會探討結果在實踐及研究的應用。 Based on Self Determination Theory, this paper explores the relationship between different aspirations (intrinsic aspirations and extrinsic aspirations) and career exploration among Hong Kong secondary school students. The sample consisted of 2,122 secondary school students from 10 secondary schools. The results found that both intrinsic and extrinsic aspirations are significant predictors of career exploration after controlling for demographic, academic results and perceived social support variables. Among the predictors examined, intrinsic aspirations explained more variance of career exploration than others. Implications of the results for theory and practice were discussed.

巴西战疫尚在进行之中，经历了初期的“全面隔离”之后，迫于经济压力，一个月之后，巴西政府选择了“选择性隔离”，这是一项冒险的选择，但是在 “隔离”与“复工”之间，巴西只能在两者之间走钢丝，目前（9月5日），疫情有所减轻，确诊人数和死亡人数也在逐日下降，巴西的学校也要复课了。虽然巴西战疫最后的感染人数与死亡人数尚属未知，但估计确诊人数不会少于800万，死亡人数很可能会达到25–30万。在新冠之后，巴西会加速经济改革，特别是私有化，拍卖国营企业，拍卖港口和机场的经营权等，以便获得资金，舒缓联邦政府和地方政府的财政压力。预计新冠疫情结束之后，由于中巴两国经济之间很强的互补性，巴西政府会继续强化中巴经贸合作。在全世界“反全球化”的浪潮中，中巴两国能够把贸易与投资的蛋糕做得更大。

民营经济是国民经济发展的重要组成部分，既是中国社会主义市场经济中不可或缺的重要成分，也是地区经济高速发展的重要推动力之一。以习近平同志为核心的党中央高度重视民营经济，明确指出要毫不动摇鼓励、支持、引导、保护民营经济发展，营造好的发展环境，促进民营经济发展。赣州是江西人口最多、面积最大的市，而且是粤港澳大湾区、海西经济区的“直接腹地”，区位优势明显，资源禀赋丰富，劳动力资源充足，特别是赣南等原中央苏区振兴发展上升为国家战略，市委、市政府通过“给政策、优服务、建平台，全方位”吸引赣商回乡创业，民营经济取得长足发展。然而，在发展迅速的背后，赣州民营企业还是面临着诸多的困难和挑战，论文通过深入调研，找到其发展中存在的主要瓶颈问题，提出在新时代和经济新常态背景下，从优化发展环境、拓宽金融渠道、推动企业创新、搭建发展平台等方面提出对策。
