LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese.The purpose of this study was to assess the structural validity of the Leisure Satisfaction Scale proposed by Beard and Ragheb (l980) as applied to Chinese adults. A Chinese version of the Leisure Satisfaction scale (short form) was used to measure the levels of leisure satisfaction of 455 Chinese adults in Hong Kong. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling (LISREL 8.7) to test the six-factor model structure. The six dimensions of leisure satisfaction were Psychological, Educational, Social, Relaxational, Physiological, and Environmental Satisfaction factors. The findings of the study suggested that the six-factor structure proposed by Beard and Ragheb fit the data of the Hong Kong adults. However, one item "I engage in leisure activities because I like doing them" has a very weak factor loading on the Relaxation factor and did not seem to effectively represent relaxation satisfaction.本研究之目的是評估由Beard and Ragheb (1980)設想及制定的休間滿意量表在結構上之可靠性。是次研究以休間滿意量表(中文版)來量度四百五十五名香港成年人對休間的滿意程度,並以結構方程式(LISREL 8.7)驗證六個休閒滿意因素的結構模式。此六個休閒滿意因素分別為:與心理相關的滿意因素、敎育相關的滿意因素、社會相關的滿意因素、鬆弛相關的滿意因素、生理相關的滿意因素及環境相關的滿意因素。是次研究發現,Beard and Ragheb 所提出的六個休閒滿意因素的結構與香港成年人的數據吻合。然而,「我參與休間活動是因為我喜歡投入那些活動」這一項在與鬆弛相關的因素中之因素負載量極低。因此,這項目 似乎未能有效地反映與鬆弛相關的滿足感。

Objectives: To understand the social network characteristics and network satisfaction of people with psychiatric disabilities living in the community in Hong Kong. Method: A modified scale was administered to 251 service users attending 5 Community Mental Health Link (LINK) Services measuring the above variables. Findings: The study suggested that people with psychiatric disabilities living in the community have a small social network. Moreover, network satisfaction is related to network size and physical proximity. The results are discussed in terms of their consistency with overseas findings and the implications for social work practice in network building for people with psychiatric disabilities. Conclusion: The results provided an initial understanding of social network characteristics and network satisfaction of service users receiving LINK service, with particular reference to network size and physical proximity. 目的:探討本地精神病康復者的社交網絡特質及他們對社交網絡的滿意程度。方法: 共251名來自5個「精神健康連網」的服務使用者填寫一份問卷,量度他們的社交網絡特質及對社交網絡的滿意程度。結果: 在社區生活的精神病康復者的社交網絡較小,而他們對社交網絡的滿意程度與其網絡的大小及地域的距離有明顯的關係。研究結果與海外的研究結果一致,爲社會工作實務上提供初步的討論。結論: 研究結果爲探討精神病康復者社交網絡的特質及他們對社交網絡的滿意程度提供初步的了解,更爲研究網絡的大小及地域的距離提供參考。.

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese. This study aims to identify the relationship between life satisfaction and wellness in Chinese college students. A survey design was used. Based on the analysis of 338 sets of data, a significant and positive relationship between life satisfaction and wellness was established. In addition, students were found to be least satisfied with their living environment and most satisfied with their relationship with friends. Of the five dimensions of wellness, students scored the lowest in the physical dimension. 本文目的是探討本港大學生的生活滿足感與身心康盛的關係。透過分析收回的338份問卷,結果顯示同學之生活滿足感與其身心康盛有顯著的正面關係,而本港的大學生對朋輩關係之滿意程度最高,對生活環境之滿意程度則最低。在五項身心康盛的自我評估範疇中,本港大學生在身體康盛的得分最低。

Customer satisfaction which directly affected service quality is very important in organizing events (Lassar, Manolis & Winsor, 2000). According to the Healthy Athlete Screening Report conducted by the International Special Olympics (2007), there were 7289 athletes registered for the 2007 Shanghai Special Olympics World Summer Games and 4879 (66.9%) of the total athletes participated the Healthy Athlete screening. Facing large amount of customers, the management evaluation based on customer satisfaction was examined with the Importance-Performance Analysis model (IPA) introduced by Martilla and James (1977) on 98 coaches and officials whom the athletes will share their view with. Generally, the success of the Shanghai Healthy Athlete program was revealed in this study. According to IPA, only the rating of importance (expectation) and experience (satisfaction) of effectiveness in crowd management fell behind the standard. 根據2007國際特殊奧運會健康運動員計劃的報告,7,289參賽運動員當中有4,879 (66.9%)人參加了上海特奧的健康運動員計劃。面對龐大的顧客群,服務素質的管理的確是一個難題。很多專家都認同顧客滿意程度反映及影響服務素質之高低,這現象也是項目管理重要的一環。有見及此,我們採用了顧客的期望及實際經驗的差距計算法去(Importance-Performance Analysis model) 去評估客戶的感受及滿意程度。是次訪問的對象是98位教練及隨隊教官,因為他們無論在認知上及情感上都是動員的最佳伙伴,再加上他們在健康理論方面及對事物的看法上較運動員成熟。整體而言,教練及隨隊教官對上海特奧的健康運動員計劃無論在期望及實際經驗都十分滿意,而美中不足的是其人群管理的措施稍遜於期望。

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in English; abstract also in Chinese. In recent years, there is a growing interest amongst researchers regarding athletes’ retirement. While research in this area in western countries is slowly building, research in Hong Kong athletes has gained little attention. The present study examined Hong Kong elite athletes’ reasons for retirement and the influence of the retirement reasons on their perception of general life satisfaction and adjustment quality which reflected how well they adapted to their post-retirement life. Analysis of self-administered questionnaires from 75 retired athletes suggested that important reasons for their retirement were difficulties in coordinating sport and study or working demands, and physiological (e.g., injury, age) and financial reasons. Most of them perceived the transition out of sport as a smooth experience. Financial, physiological and burnout (tired of the lifestyle) reasons for retirement were found to be significantly negatively associated with athletes’ general life satisfaction. The more they retired due to the three kinds of reasons, the less satisfied they felt toward their current life. 近年來對於運動員退役的研究越來越多,特別是在西方國家,但是對於香港運動員退役的研究相對較少。本研究調查了香港精英運動員退役的原因及這些原因對他們適應退役後生活的狀況及總體生活滿意度的影響。根據75份問卷分析發現大多數香港精英運動員退役是由於難以協調運動訓練與工作或學習的時間,以及生理和經濟的原因。較多受訪者認為退役轉型的過程較為順利。研究還發現,出於經濟原因、生理原因(例如:傷病、年齡)、和厭倦運動訓練生活而退役,對於運動員退役後總體生活滿意度,有顯著的影響。而出於這三種原因而退役的運動員,對自己的總體生活滿意度則較低。

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English.具體實踐中的知情同意是一種倫理學技術,注重利用現有的文化傳統、理論資源和法律工具,合理有效地分析問題、解決問題,強調它作為體現對病人基本權利的尊重和調節醫患關係手段的作用。在民主社會,知情同意乃是建立醫患權責餘的必要條件。知情同意來自於醫療活動的自發秩序:醫患雙方通過知情同意活動,明確醫療活動中雙方的權利和責任界限,進行有成效的醫療實踐。知情同意既是對基本人權的尊重,又是確保雙方責任的工具。具體實踐中的知情同意,提供一種促進多種價值觀和平共存、通過學習和對話實現平衡的運行機制,在社會整體利益優先與個人最基本權利不可侵犯的框架下滿足雙方不同的價值需求。臨床“知情同意”活動的目的在於:促進患者自主權的行使;明晰醫療活動中的權責關係,在合法限度內為醫療活動的正常進行提供保護。實踐中追求資訊的“充分”取決於患方要求的“主觀的充分”。臨床醫療活動中,醫方要不斷提高患方知情的充分程度。隨著知情程度的增加,患方自主程度隨之自動上升。目前關於“知情向意”的理論研究中,缺少對知情同意的狀況、分佈及相關因素的實地調查和量化分析,研究多集中在道德、文化理論上,實踐策略的指導意義不強。應當把知情同意視作貫穿於整個臨床醫療活動的一個連續的整體。要關注本社區成員的文化和心理結構的特殊性,從本社區歷史特點出發,建立本社區知情同意情況的常規模式和量化標準。還應當設計臨床知情同意調查制度,作為醫方制定知情同意策略的依據,同時又可作為說明醫療活動發生的真實過程的法律檔。Informed consent is an ethical technique which emphasizes using the existing cultural traditions, theoretical resources and legal instruments to analyze and solve the problems reasonably and effectively. Informed consent can thus play a significant role in adjusting the relationship between patients and physicians. As an ethical technique, it focuses on the method of applying various ethical resources and not simply on the combination of the logical consequence and criteria. In a democratic society, informed consent is a necessary requirement for the right-duty relationship between patients and physicians. Informed consent is seen as a prerequisite obligation to physicians and implies certain rights for patients. Patients and physicians are bound by informed consent so that they are able to "trade" equally. Informed consent is not only a means to confirming the property rights but also a tool of reducing the costs of "trade". In practice, informed consent helps to promote and achieve the peaceful co-existence of pluralistic values. It can do so by learning and having conversations with the other sides so that different parties can satisfy under the framework which gives priority to the total interests of society and guarantees the fundamental rights of individuals.The aims of informed consent in clinical practice are to promote the self-determination of patients and to clarify rights and duties in medical activities. In practice, the sufficiency of information depends on the subjective sufficiency of patients. Physicians should ensure that the patient comprehend the information and follow the appropriate procedure to manage and supervise. The most active method for physician to take is to increase the degree of informational sufficiency. The degree of the patient's self-determination increases accordingly with the increase of informational sufficiency. Their relationship can be described by a curve like "S".The current studies on informed consent in China lack the empirical data from field research. Most studies focus on the theoretical issues of morality and culture. As a result, research results are hardly applicable in clinical practice. Informed consent should a holistic entity in clinical practice. We should pay more attention to the specificity of the cultural and psychological structure of members of every community. We should establish the ordinary model and criteria of informed consent in the particular community. 要以政治言論自由合法化煽惑他人犯罪的行動,較適當的方式是透過合目的性限縮解釋,將其排除於刑法第153條第1款之罪的射程範圍之外。由於本罪旨在確保公眾關於個人社會生活安全的認知穩定性,因此煽惑概念的成立須滿足釋出犯罪訴求──適於引發真實犯罪聯想──適於動搖認知穩定性──適於影響參與社會交往意願四個要素。依此,當煽惑犯罪行動呈現政治意涵時,可能的合法化途徑有二:首先,當公眾可輕易判讀行為人藉由煽惑行動僅為發洩負面情緒或表達特定訴求時,該煽惑行動即不適於令公眾產生真實犯罪聯想。其次,當煽惑行動鼓動攻擊的對象具有高度特定性,尤其是針對政治體制的攻擊時,即可能給予公眾此僅為特殊個案的認知,而不適於動搖認知穩定性。<br />

However, judgement on quality is very subjective and judgement can only be made when one sees it or experiences it. It is not uncommon that there are many views from different people on quality of the same service or product. As a sport service agent, we want to evaluate our service achievement to ensure our quality. Quality measurement is a means to meet this purpose. This measurement is not just measured by the number of participants, the number of medals achieved, or whether a break-even account statement is attended. It is also important to conform to the standards, requirements, regulations, policies, procedures, and goals that are set for the services. The feedback from the participants and impact of the services to the society are also elemental to quality service. In sport, quality improvement begins with hardware - facilities, equipment, apparel - which people can easily SEE the difference. In the second stage, the software - professional coaches, administrators, quality programs and outstanding performance let people EXPERIENCE a change. The ultimate development and the beauty of sport, however, are the shared sporting spirit which TRANSCEND the essence of human being. This paper will focus on how SET is applied in current sport development in Hong Kong and to elevate the quality of sport into the year 2000 and beyond.個人對服務質素的要求因人而異,對服務的滿意程度亦須使用者親身看過或切身體驗後才可作出主觀評論。體育專業人員的工作目標是爲公衆人仕及運動員提供優質體育活動。用以評訂體育工作的成效,普遍以參加人數、獎牌數目、及賬目收支平衡作爲評審準則。客觀的評核應以共同爲體育設訂的理想、標準、要求、規則、政策、程序及目標爲指標。體育質數的提昇有一定的進程,通常體育發展多由爲人看到的硬件項目開始,如改善運動設施、器材、政策等。繼而開展軟件項目,如聘請優質數的教練及體育行政人員,提供多元化活動及後勤服務,務使參加者能親身體驗優質體育活動。體育發展的最終目標是希望能夠將體育精神超越體育,使參加者能應用體育的經驗及精神於日常生活及工作裡。本文探索香港在「觀看」到「體驗」至「超越」的體育發展進程,逐步邁向優質體育的理想。

Each kind of the public sport facilities of Taiwan is gradually entering into a commercial and private operate area. In addition to this, the service that the operator also wants to take customer as the direction can succeed, adds the facilities of the badminton stadium are also compatriot's important demand on the recreational sports. This research is to understand the psychological aspects of the customer’s involvement influence on the satisfaction and importance of the product attributes of badminton courts. The research also uses the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method, analyzing the different categories of consumer group. The obtained information will be provided to the operators of the recreational sport industry in drawing up the marketing strategy and the allocation of capital may stand as a basis and reference. This research used the consumers of badminton in Ilan as its research object. After a pre-test the study underwent a questionnaire survey. The results after went through the item analysis, Factor Analysis, One-way ANOVA, Independent Sample t-Test, Simple Regression and the Importance-Performance Analysis, were as below: 1.Most of the consumers were male, which made up 77.6%; their age mostly was ranging between 31-40, which made up 31.3%; most of the consumers were married, which made up 62.3%; 60.1% of them were graduates; among whom the government employees hold a higher ratio, with 48.0%; 34.5% of them having the average monthly income of 40,000~60,000 NT. 2.On the part of involvement, the married consumers were significantly higher than the unmarried consumers; the “government employees and teachers”, “the farmers, loggers, fishermen, the herdsmen, service and sales personnel” and “the technician related personnel” the consumers of these three kinds of profession also were higher than “the students and militaries”; The consumers whose income in the categories of “20001-40000 NT” and “40001-60000 NT” also all were much higher than those “below 20000 NT” category. The degree of satisfaction on the part of product attribute, the male group was far higher than the female group. The degree of importance on part of product attributes, “31-40 year old”, “41-50 year old” and “above 51 years old” the consumers were much higher than the “below 20 years old” the consumers, the married consumers were little higher than the unmarried consumers. 3.The higher the degree of consumer’s involvement it was, lower the satisfaction of “service quality”, “operation management” would be. However, the higher the “involvement”, the higher the importance of “location facility” and “operation management” would be. 4.According to the discovery of the importance-performance analysis method, those consumers with higher involvement would think that the lighting facility, bathing facility and environmental sanitation need to be improved. However, those consumers with lower involvement would pay more attention on the number of court facilities. The consumers who used the appropriative badminton stadium think that the attributes “the number of court facilities, bathing facilities and environmental sanitation” three attributes had to be improved. However, the consumers who were renting school’s badminton stadium paid more attention on the lighting facilities, the quality of floor material, facility’s standard and the manner of service personnel four attributes. 5.Among all the consumers, the hall space and the facility security were the two attributes that met the demand of consumer. The drinking facility was the only one that needed concentrated improvement. Those with low priority were the number of service personnel, service speed, prompted assistance, holding large-scale competition, special activity, insurance for members, six attributes. Those excessively supplied and emphasized were the distance to the court, holding small competition, socialization activity three attributes. The suggestion to the operators of the industry were the consumers consistently believed that excessively emphasis on “the distance of hall”, “holding small competition” and “socializing activity” three financial resources attributes could be reduced. However, the believed most desired improvement was the “drinking facility”. Therefore the operators and the administrative personnel should immediately allocating fund for the improvement of the drinking facility, to enhance the consumer’s degree of satisfaction.
