根據AMR Research的預估，全球的客戶關係管理(Customer Relationship Management，CRM)市場規模，從1998年23憶美元，預估西元2003年將達到168憶美元。以及由2002年底Siebel推出的解決方案來看，CRM的趨勢將針對各種應用系統如何做好整合。
本研究之目的，旨在整合現有客戶關係管理相關文獻，與日商B公司多年來的經驗，以流程再造為出發點，從而設計出新的客戶管理資訊系統中之「銷售」、「行銷」以及「客戶服務」等機制，以解決舊系統不敷使用的問題，並且提供新商品線銷售與服務的機制，以及整合部份內外部系統。研究過程中實踐了系統開發生命週期(System Development Lifecycle)的理論進行新系統之分析、設計、開發、測試，並進一步分析與探討新系統實際上為B公司帶來的效益。以期對於國內企業因應快速發展的CRM趨勢，本系統的實現提供了國內其它產業進行CRM資訊系統建置過程的參考價值。<br>According to the prediction of AMR research, the marketing scale of global Customer Relationship Management will be expected to rise from 2.3 billions in 1998 to 16.8 billions in 2003. Viewing the CRM solution of Siebel in the end of 2002, the trend of CRM will focus on how to integrate other hundreds of applications.
The objective of this study is to integrate the related references of present CRM and the publisher industry experiences within a Japanese company B. On the basis of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) theory, we design the Sales, marketing, and customer services in the new CRM system in order to solve the problems on the legacy system, to provide the new sale channels and services mechanism of new product line and to integrate parts of the inner and 3rd party information system. During the research process, we accomplished the theorem of System Development Lifecycle to analyze, design, develop, and test of the new system. And further analyze and discuss of the benefit to company B from the the new system. In order to match the trend of the rapid growth in the CRM market for local enterprises, this system supplied the referenced value during building the CRM information system for other local enterprises.<br>目 錄

碩士<br>國立臺灣大學<br>資訊工程學研究所<br>92<br>In this thesis, we are mainly to describe how to design and implement a Gateway program that can allow a SIP User Agent in the SIP network to make and receive calls with the traditional telephone in Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
The Gateway architecture is different from the common ones that use to work between SIP-based network and PSTN. In order to achieve the goal, call establishment is simple and speed, and reduce the cost, we probe into how to simplify architecture of the system step by step. Try to prune the unnecessary entities away, but still attain the request of communication. Without the architecture of MGCP, the Gateway handles both call control signaling and media transmission, no signaling negotiation between MGC and MG can save time. Further we also discuss how to make call normally between IP and PSTN, without the signaling negotiation in PSTN.

In this thesis, we design an Internet telephone system, which is based on some Application Program Interface of the development tools for recording voice, compressing voice, transmitting voice, and replaying voice. The goal of this study is to develop STS distance education system. It include: (1) the design of STS distance education system; (2) to realize the design; (3) establish the STS database.
The interface of STS distance education system is Vorld Wide Web (WWW), which is the most popular over the world because it is easy to use. Under this environment, people who do not know how to use computer can handle it easily and proceed their study effectively.
In hardware, we place the whole system on the Internet and send informations and messages via computer network. We establish STS resource web site to popularize STS education and provide users informations and materials they want.
The content of database can be devided into three parts: the first part is the STS theory and news, including the development, discussion and analysis of STS; the second part is memoir posted by Dr. Wang''''s laboratory and our laboratory; the third part is tuition model developed by Dr. Wang''''s laboratory and our laboratory.

Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) is a younger protocol than H.323 in VoIP. the document describes a design of VoIP system. The Call Agent could work on WIN32 and Linux environment, but Media Gateway could only work on WIN32 because of no ADICTI VL4-P5 card driver and API for Linux.
In the beginning, the document outlines the MGCP command, the software and hardware environment of the VoIP system. Then, it will explain how a ‘call agent’ and a ‘media gateway’ work in this system and show the design of the whole system. Finally, this document shows the web interface of the call agent and future work.

Therefore, the main issue of how to utilize information technology to fulfill the needs is quite important. There are two conceptual aspects of the design of information system. First, by completing the logical requirement of users based on the new information technology. For instance, Decision Support System (DSS) and computerized analytical wargame fit in this idea. In this design, the main factor we have to consider is to know the organization and procedure of the unit. Second, by implementing the real world founded on information tools. For example, the design of a tank simulator and the computerized confrontation wargame which we have done belong to this area.
The purpose of this thesis is to write an interactive simulation program that can be used on the battlefield. In this thesis, we use an abbreviated blueprint for our scenario that includes the major combat operations on the battlefield. For instance, developing operation order, tactical road marches, camp, concentration, reconnaissance, offensive operations, engagement and retrograde movement. The spatial data used in the prototyping system is a raster military map that is stored in the form of the computer file system.
In order to imitate the combat operation scene, we collect the combat procedures and requirements of a division for our design foundation. The program can be used as a prototype for the future wargame manufactures.
In this thesis, we adopt object-oriented analysis and design to carry out model requirement analysis, conceptual model analysis, and logical model design. Symbolic system of this assay can be found in the book of Martin & Odell. The system is a discrete-event fixed-increment time advance simulation system. Our program is written in Delphi 3.0, and database system MS-SQL 6.5.

For the long-term development of enterprise, it not only aims to keep track of the technological change but also consider the security issue while digitalizing. I believe it is a great challenge for an enterprise to have both at the same time. Every enterprise gradually imports digitalization to its interior system for raising the operation status and management mode. Based on the construction of question bank, question-setting system design and the combination of practical implementation through technology acceptance theory and benefit evaluation, this thesis aims to find what user requires and makes the system achieve the strategy of sustainable operation.

Because of a series of medical mistreatment cases has been revealed recently that the effect of drug interaction is gradually becoming an important issue.
Besides, countless kinds of medicine have been used in nowadays; even pharmacists or doctors can not well acquaint all the interactions between drugs while they prescribe. Therefore, to establish a database on drug interactions as an inspection system to prevent serious medicine interaction is quite urgent.
The common users will rely on Web servers to operate the database. However, the traditional way is not user friendly and is unable to analyze the data. Consequently, a new application system which utilizes the technology of distributed web services, supports cross platform, and cross firewalls has been developed. In this paper, we will combine the relating technologies on Web Services and standard protocols such as HTTP, XML, SOAP and etc to develop a drug interactions database application system which is cross-platforms, cross-language, and cross-Internet. Through the establishment of the new system, we may construct a database on drug interactions which may help doctors and the pharmacists on prescriptions, guarantee a safer medical treatment to patients, and avoid the overuse of health insurance resources.

In this thesis, we propose a new approach to design the multi-wavelength diffractive optical elements. Our approach is based on iterative discrete fractional Fourier transform (DFRFT) to find a fast and efficient method in manufacturing a adequate diffractive optical elements (DOEs) suitable for several wavelengths.
The DOEs based on basic diffraction theorem have the advantages of small size, light weight, flexibility and easy duplication. This thesis introduces a modified Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm, and takes fractional Fourier transform as free space propagated transform function.
Recently the fractional Fourier transform has been found to play a significant roll as Fourier optics does. Due to the DFRFT’s properties, it’s not difficult to design a asymmetrical image pattern even with only two levels DOE. Also, the combination of FRT and Fresnel diffractive pattern has an advantage of suitable diffracted field for any distance. Simulation results using Matlab 5.3 software are presented, which demonstrate the validity of this approach by using a convenient graphical user interface program.

It is designed to have a flexible configuration on both reliability and encryption schemes. Different encoding levels and encryption mode are provided to configure for each file. Moreover, a runtime framework is proposed, which provides a unified interface for applications to easily take advantage of the various computation powers on a heterogeneous environment. Multiple devices and platforms, such as CUDA and OpenCL can be utilized at the same time to achieve a better performance.
The system is implemented with Cauchy Reed-Solomon (CRS) encoding/decoding operations for reliability and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryptions for security. Both of the operations are accelerated by CUDA and OpenCL. Besides, the file system is integrated with FUSE (File system in User space) and run as a stacked file system. It can be easily ported to other platforms that support POSIX and can be mount on any other file systems.
Finally, The runtime framework and the system were evaluated and compared with different hardware environments. The results show that the system runs efficiently and has a performance gain up to 104.57x on AES operations.

When the reconciliation is needed, the crawler module is used to retrieve the manufacturer's data into the program. The game platform also uses the database. The pre-existing program retrieves the data. After obtaining the information of both parties, they will enter the comparison module and compare the data on both sides. If there is an error, it will be displayed on the screen and automatically send the mail to the email address set in the program, so that the responsible person can Receive instant payment error messages. In addition to mail, there is also a data export module that can export the wrong data into the format of the spreadsheet for subsequent processing. Finally, the correction module will use this module to locate different error types when there is an error in the account, and the correction method for the type will make the final accounts of both parties consistent.

Regarding to the recognition system for handwriting Yes/No and choice questions, it is utilized digital image processing to implement digital preprocessing, including noise reduction, binarization, cutting line processing, area maximum, and smoothing, etc. After preprocessing the answers for Yes/No questions, the images are thinning, and then the number of end-points is counted as the feature for image recognition. In the aspect of the answers for choice questions, it is according to some structural features to recognize the answers, such as the judgment of whether the images of characters include looping, and the vertex number of left/right indent of character images, plus the number of end-points after the thinning of character images. .
In terms of physically designing an answer-sheet reading system, the GUI design allows the system to be used easily and user-friendly. Also, the system capability of processing images is enhanced with image toolbox of Matlab, and its powerful matrix computing. Finally, in this dissertation, An answer-sheet reading system based on the recognition algorithm for handwriting answers of Yes/No and choice questions is developed and this system is sometimes need to be helped by human when the result has some troubles. .
Via the experiments in the elementary primary school, it is higher than 98% recognition rate for recognizing students’ pencil-writing answers for Yes/No and choice questions. The system also has apparently high tolerance toward difficult-recognized and slanted characters.

The Airspace Display And Control Model developed in this research could display the operation process of aircrafts and provide a friendly graph interface to decrease the inconveniences of both system manipulation and information researching. And it is equipped with the function of simulation accelerating. One could simulate and display the crafts operation process in the airspace in further some blocks of timing during the limited displaying-period, designed for officer''s reference. As the Airspace Selecting And Statistics Function, users would be noted, including the quantity of aircrafts just for the range selected and the “Aid.” by a list. So that one could both clarify and control the flows and the status of the airspace. This model would be powerful for offering the instant information, analyzing which is the best way to do the flow controlling and confirm the greatest effectuality as the traffic crowd occurs. This Display System could support any simulation model built with link-node structure and it is great helpful for the display of the simulation layout and the confirmation of the accuracy of simulation program.
On the other hand, this research amends the algorithm of the craft delay-time calculations. It revising the underrated result of the total delay time caused by the calculating way of the separate of crafts and solving the problem of the overestimating result cased by the logics of flow-control decision.

Objectives
I. To observe the interaction between teachers and students,
II. To discern the influence, limitations and implications of students at the class of composition-writing via Rubric system.
Methodologies
This action research proceeded at class. The conclusions are from the following items:
I. Create feedback paper of students’ composition via Rubric system,
II. Observe at class,
III. In-depth interviews with students, and
IV. Students’ compositions.
Conclusions
I. Student’s performance
Rubric Processor provide students with the precise feedback and clear suggestions, which makes Students’ ability of observation better. But different level students have different effect.
A. For low level students, the effect is limited;
B. For middle level students, the outcome is obviously;
C. For high level students, due to the limitation of time the effect is not so discriminating.
II. Students’ attitude
From interviews with students and observes students’ performance and interaction at class, the teaching of composition via Rubric Processor is optimistic and supportive for students’ attitude toward composition but not interest. Students would not change his opinion about composition due to the change of feedback.
III. Suggestions and Limitations
A. The best feedback paper is within an A4 paper and teacher have to encourage students reading. Tablet PC and wireless network is the best way and cooperate with parents is also important.
B. The limitation of Rubric Processor are IT equipments such as PCs and printer; teachers IT literacy; the cost is too high; the database of system is limited; and bugs of the Rubric Processor.

Video-conferencing is regarded as one of the most important killer add-value services. This thesis focuses on the design of MCU (Multiple Control Unit), the key component of a video-conferencing system. With the use of MCU system, we can avoid traditional Point-To-Point architecture, a complex architecture. Moreover, we can let more users to transmit voice packets to each other on-line in real-time fashion. We introduce a chat-room concept, so we can create multiple chatrooms simultaneously for different chat-topics.
Linux is a high performance network operating system. We employed Linux for its high performance multi-task environment and network architecture. We built our chat-room server on an embedded Linux by reducing the total size of the Linux execution environment to about 600 kbytes. We used pThread in Linux to maintain multiple on-line chat-rooms simultaneously. We adopted linux kernel 2.4.x series for its new optimization in the network layer, and the new linux kernel is more suitable for multimedia application.

Because increased market volatilities, globalization of various financial markets and firm''s own increased profit sensitivity to interest rates and foreign exchange uncertainties, developing VAR system to report and monitor their financial exposures and derivative holdings is in fast-growing demand among top managers.
VAR is a method of measuring, with 95% confidence, the exposure that a bank undertakes to various forms of market risk. As we are aware, the latest development in risk management comcept of the VAR is revolutionizing financial and banking institutions in Europe and USA and Asia is no exception.
The management of risk, instead of profit, all of a sudden became the top of the list of every bank managent''s priorities. The trend includes:
(1)Measuring the risk associated with being a participant in the financial markets has become the focus of intence study by banks, corporate, investment managers and regulator.
(2)Securitization makes investments more liquid, the potential for frequent and accurate reporting of investment gains and loss has led an increasing number of firms to manage daily earnings from a mark-to-market perspective-a movement away from management based on accrual accounting toward risk management based on marking-to-market of positions.
(3)Investors and trading manager are searching for common standards to measure market risks and to estimate better the risk/return profile of portfolio.
In recent years, commercial banks have pioneered the development of VAR, and it has become dominant way for banks to evaluate financial price risk. Now, JP Morgan has decided to give away its VAR measurement model, known as RiskMetrice, which includes volatility estimates of bond, equity, and currency prices, correlations between those prices, and the methodology used to calculate the data. The study adopts RiskMetrics and Singapore ARMS to create a risk management system, named 4:15 by JP Morgan. The content includes:
(1)Risk management framework.
(2)Statistics of financial market return.
(3)Risk modeling of financial instruments.
(4)A 4:15 case study.
4:15 is a practicable tool for measuring the market risk in complex portfolios of financial instrument. 4:15 is named after JP Morgan''s market report produced at 4:15 p.m. every day. The "4:15 Report" , a single sheet of paper, summarizes the daily earning at risk for JP Morgan worldwide.
4:15 allows for a more informed perspective on a wide range of risk management issues in the areas of trading management, benchmark performance evaluation, asset/liability management, resource allocation, and regulatory reporting. The study not only creates imaged 4:15 system, but also points out the problem that when a financial institution decides to develop risk management system, like 4:15, should notice.

With the new way to contribution, new problems also arise. For example, how does the author believe that his own works won’t be stolen and will be reviewed fairly？ New design and mechanism is needed to solve all these problems. So we design and build up a online contribution system and hope that it brings the convenience of online contribution and solves possible problems.
XML is a markup language which is designed to achieve data interchange between different platforms or applications published by W3C. We introduce XML into our system as the communication tool between our system, authors, and reviewers. To the new technologies, we implement the digital signature and encryption/decryption on the XML document to solve all the problems we mentioned. Furthermore, our purposed system also achieves the goals of cryptography, which are nonrepudiation, privacy, authenticity and integrity.
In order to overcome the function limitation of IE, We also design one plug-in program in Word application. This plug-in program can store the particular symbol edited by the Equation Editor at XML document and recover the particular symbol from XML document. By the way, We overcome the function differences between Word and IE and prove the advantages of XML in the region of data interchange.

In order to satisfy the requirement of the new market challenges, the traditional warehouses were replaced by the modern distribution centrs. Most of researches have indicated that 48% of the total cost in a distribution center is the picking operation cost. Therefore, many researchers tried to develop the models of picking operation and simplify the picking process. However, the above researches'' results can not be applied in the real world cases because they are too theoretical. That is, we can not use the above models to estimate the effect of any improvement in a distribution center. In this study, we developed a picking model with Smart Computer Aid Picking System (SCAPS) in a distribution center. The empirical analysis indicates that our new model can significantly improve the cost of picking operation. The results of the study are as follows.
1.The model can save the employee cost.
2.It can improve the quality of picking operation.
3.It can improve the process effective.
4.SCAPS can help the picking operation management.
5.SCAPS have been approved usefully for picking operation effective by
this model.
6.This model can meet the flexible operation requirement.

We used the particle swarm algorithm to train the neural network algorithm and back propagation neural network to learn the electricity habits of the user, make the indoor environment be automatic pre-cooled according to usual habits.
Finally, we also considered the issues of energy consumption, we used genetic algorithm to achieve an optimal balance between thermal comfort and energy consumption, implementation an artificial intelligence energy monitoring system on Arduino UNO board and pc.

Based on Sequential Probability Ratio Test (SPRT), the purpose of the research is to build up “SPRT Mastery Testing System” on Internet. The Mastery Decision-consistency Coefficeints (MDC) and the assessment efficiency between the SPRT’s decision and CCT’s will be compared. Moreover, the research investigates the attitudes toward taking computerized tests and SPRT among the fifth graders.
The research has revealed:
1. “SPRT Mastery Testing System” worked pretty smoothly during the process. The working time that the server takes only holds 0.87% of all testing time without any delay or errors.
2. Comparing the results of SPRT and CCT, the percentage agreement of mastery decision-consistency is greater than 0.80; the κ coefficient is greater than 0.59 at least after the random factors are excluded. There is high MDC between SPRT and CCT.
3. In the comparison of the assessment efficiency, the average testing length of SPRT is shorter than CCT at least by 34%. As to the assessment efficiency of testing time, SPRT is also shorter than CCT at least by 25%. In other words, SPRT makes mastery decision about examiners with less items and time.
4. The fifth graders participated in this research take positive attitudes toward either computerized testing or SPRT on Internet. The acceptable degree reaches the 0.05 level of significant.
5. The individual variables of the subjects, such as“gender”, “self-conscious computer practiced degree”, and “practical computer-operating ability”, are not significant on the acceptability of SPRT Mastery Testing System.
As a whole, “SPRT Mastery Testing System” indeed reaches the goal of achieving reliability, efficiency, and acceptability. As for the practical needs of elementary schools teachers, SPRT is easy to carry out and need less pretest samples. Therefore, this testing system is suitable for the routine instructional assessment in elementary schools.

However, the analysis of most application cases did not consider the effect of vertical ground motions on the isolation systems. To this end, this study aims to investigate theoretically and experimentally the seismic behavior of sliding isolation systems under vertical-and-horizontal (V&H) bi-axial ground motions. In the study, by employing the Lagrange’s equation of motion, an exact equation of motion was derived for a structure isolated by a general sliding system with axially-symmetric concaved sliding surface. The established analytical model is able to simulate the curvature effect of the sliding surface and also the dependency of friction coefficient on the sliding velocity and normal force. This model was first verified by shaking table tests, and applied to simulate the V&H bi-directional responses of a rigid structure isolated by a constant-curvature (e.g., FPS) and a variable-curvature sliding systems respectively, when subjected to V&H ground motions. The result shows that the curvature effect has significant influence on the vertical acceleration and normal force of the isolation systems, but marginal influence on the horizontal acceleration and isolator drift. The result remains the same when considering the variation of friction coefficient due to the variation of sliding velocity and normal force applied on the isolators.
The second objective of this study is to theoretically explore the advantage of using velocity-dependent friction materials in sliding isolation systems. For this purpose, a FPS system with friction property described by the Constantinou’s model was considered in the simulation. A parametric study that considers various isolation periods and superstructure periods was conducted, in order to search for the better velocity-dependent friction coefficients for the friction material in the isolator. The simulation result shows that when properly selected the sliding isolators with the friction material that exhibits velocity dependency may lead to less superstructure acceleration and base displacement as compared with those of conventional isolators with constant friction property.
