This research aims to examine the most appropriate retiring asset allocation of the Variable product. Asset allocation is one of the most important factors to determine the return and risk of a portfolio. This research adopts five asset allocation strategies, including BH strategy, CM strategy, LCF strategy, LCR strategy and TRR strategy. With a given future return on four assets in four different investing durations, which are 20, 25, 30 and 35 years, the results of this current project demonstrates: 1. The likelihood to achieve replacement rate increases with higher risky asset. 2. The longer the period of one’s intended holding period, the less the value of the ending wealth for not pursuing the risky investment. 3. The pattern of these various strategies depends on the investing duration: For the LC strategy, one needs to invest 25 years at least in order to have higher replacement rate. For shorter investing duration, one is advised to choose the TRR strategy whereas the BH or the CM strategy is suitable for longer investing duration in order to attain higher replacement rate. 4. The only difference between the CM and the BM strategies lies in rebalancing. Rebalancing reduces the risk in the higher multiple situation but increases the risk in the lower multiple situation. 5. Except the TRR strategy, the replacement rates of other strategies significantly increased with the investing duration. The result of the analysis on the effects of cost and tax on Variable product and Buy Term and Invest the Difference (BTID) showed that, with more mutual funds, there are advantages when the transferring is within the same company. However, the advantages of Variable product are greater than the BTID strategy if the transferring is under different mutual fund companies. Further, with the increases of the transferring frequencies and the amount of the investing money, the advantages are greater. Under normal taxing and with the increase of the amount of the investing money, the duration of the value on the Variable product which is greater than that of BTID will decrease. That is, the value of the Variable product will be greater than that of the BTID within shorter investing period.

The ability to continuously review, adjust and cultivate the dynamic capability in order to maintain sustainable competitive advantage becomes a major factor deciding whether or not a corporation can possess long-term profits. This process of dynamic accommodation not only faces the challenge of varying preferences from target customers but also the challenge of requirements for different resources and capabilities that companies must maintain owing to the transformations of exterior market structure and interior corporate maturity. Therefore, the research can’t merely focus on the classification of different types of resources and capabilities, but puts more emphasis on the relationship between resource allocating behavior and firm’s performance of business efficiency. By integrating the concepts about business competence from Marketing and Strategy theories, we identify two significant resource allocation activities and their own barrier effects upon other rival companies in the market. One is the resource invested in the activities of creating product value such as R&D expenses and it focuses on enhancing value creation and gaining competitive advantage. The other is the resource invested for the purpose of supporting the marketing appropriation activities like advertising or promotion expenses and it focuses on appropriating the product value and building an effective barrier to other competitors. This research adopts the method of Data Envelopment Analysis to measure the performance of business efficiency and tries to make a connection between the performance and resource allocating behavior. The factors decide good or bad performance of companies including different kinds of resource allocating strategies, which are further affected by characters of market environment and stages of business life cycle. The main results of this research are as follows, 1.Accessibility to the market determines the impact of R&D innovation and marketing appropriation activities on the performance of business efficiency. 2.Firms with different kinds of market accessibility reveal divergent patterns of resource allocation trajectories, and the key factors influencing the performance of business efficiency include the correct focus of resource allocation and the consistence of long-term resource allocating strategy. 3.Firms in different stages of business life cycle will equally put more emphasis on marketing activities as their life cycles evolve. However, as the accessibility of the market becomes higher, firms in the same stage of business life cycle tend to allocate more resources in marketing activities and show greater divergence in their resource allocating behaviors.

Enterprises in the international expansion, they have to face many different customer base within the country, countries with local currency and bank accounts. Of course, the impacts of foreign exchange risk also increase. When the exchange rate has some fluctuations in local, enterprises will have an impact on profit, net cash flow and market value. Therefore in order to more efficiently to manage the financial operation. So finance department of international business must require facing the important issues that evasion of foreign exchange risk. Particularly in the enterprise risk and the internationalization is relevant. As well as Enterprises look for hedge strategy or a better allocation of funds. This study will try to use the concept of Value-at-Risk, “VaR”. Let the VaR of financial institutions from the general study of broadening the application of the value of foreign currency assets of portfolio companies. Then try to analysis their implications for the impact of the value of the company. And hope to reduce the VaR of Enterprises its impact on the company. Research shows that when appropriate proportion of the funds allocation for the internationalization of enterprises, it can effectively reduce foreign exchange risk.

Moving granular filter, especially for high-temperature filtration, is a very attractive design in the region of the gas filtration industrially. Because filtering material flows in the process, it is more complicated in the mechanical design. Besides high-temperature stability, filtering material needs a character which it does not fragment easily. To refresh filtering material efficiently, people found adding obstacles between louvers to change the condition filtering material flows. But it also could change the paths gas pass through filtering layer and affect other characters of moving granular filter. In this experiment, we found that the pressure drop of semi-continuous moving granular filter with obstacles would approach the one without obstacles because dust distributed in filter layers uniformly by long-time room temperature operation. Filtration efficiency would be effected by dust distribution and refreshing condition of filtering material. At least, we would suggest a new design to more study.
