Global Factor scores from Cattell's Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF) were correlated with Holland codes using mean 16PF profiles from 69 occupational groups as data. Unlike prior studies, this study features occupational groups as the unit of analysis. Two analyses were done to test expectations, (a) 16PF scores would significantly discriminate among Holland types and (b) 16PF mean scores for each type would differ from the population mean in a direction consistent with prior research.
