Abstract:
Pensar en las reconfiguraciones espaciales en la región Oeste de Santa Catarina, a partir de la contemplación de lo rural y de lo urbano, a partir del estudio de las condiciones económicas y políticas. Contextualizar así, las acciones políticas responsables por las transformaciones espaciales en función de su núcleo estructural en términos de región, la ciudad de Chapecó, considerada como la Capital Del Oeste. Percibir la emergencia del rural y del urbano en cuanto objeto de estudio y de interrogatorio, teniendo en vista la dinámica del funcionamiento en época de economía global. Criada políticamente en finales de la década de 1910, la región Oeste de Santa Catarina (la cual tenía por nombre su mayor ciudad - Chapecó) fue la última región del estado a se hacer presente políticamente y a tener, por lo tanto, los límites consolidados. En las próximas décadas, con los desmembramientos que vendrían en la región , la ciudad de Chapecó seguiría ejerciendo influencia vital. Sin embargo, como proceso transformador, la propia ciudad criará bases económicamente sólidas, teniendo influencia directa en las cuestiones culturales económicas y políticas de toda la región Oeste de Santa Catarina. Esa influencia se produce primeramente debido a ese constituir como una de las pocas ciudades brasileñas de la época que tuvieron primeramente un planeamiento y que, por lo tanto, no desarrollaban al acaso, desordenadas. En ese sentido, es posible observar que la consolidación de la ciudad física/material y su entrelace económico/político imbuya en las relaciones concisas de la propia ciudad y están interconectados al medio rural. En el desarrollo de esa ciudad consolidada, la relación urbana se tornará la soldadura entre las modificaciones espaciales. El urbano también es puesto, por lo tanto, como proceso transformador y es considerado variable en la relación que ejerce sobre a ciudad, que igualmente se muestra variable en relación al proceso urbano. El rural es modificado, mejorado es transformado, no como modo secundario, mas como forma contenida en las propias especificidades. No es el medio rural dependiente de la ciudad, así como no es la ciudad creciente, exclusivamente a los lapsos del medio rural, visto que cada uno ejercerá su propia modificación y estos cambios traerán en la esencia la transfiguración modificadora de la populación chapecoense. En ese sentido, la ciudad no es el resultado de las innovaciones , de la modernidad o del crecimiento por lo cual Chapecó está pasando en casi un siglo de la existencia, ella es uno de los resultados. Se debe considerar, todavía, que ella es mutable , tanto en el aspecto físico/técnico cuanto en cotidianidad. El rural también es mutable y , para entender la ciudad, su planeamiento y planificación producción espacial -, el diálogo con el rural se torna esencial.<br>Pensar a respeito das reconfigurações espaciais na região Oeste de Santa Catarina, a partir da contemplação do rural e do urbano, partindo do estudo das condições econômicas e políticas. Nesse sentido, é possível observar que a consolidação da cidade física/material e seu entrelace econômico/político perpassam as relações concisas da própria cidade e estão interconectados ao meio rural. No crescimento dessa cidade consolidada, a relação urbana se tornará a solda entre as modificações espaciais. O urbano também é colocado, portanto, como processo transformador e é considerado variável na relação que exerce sobre a cidade, que igualmente se mostra variável em relação ao processo urbano. O rural é modificado, melhorado e transformado, não como modo secundário, mas como forma contida nas próprias especificidades. Não é o meio rural dependente da cidade, assim como não é a cidade crescente, exclusivamente aos lapsos do meio rural, visto que cada um exercerá sua própria modificação e tais alterações trarão na essência a transfiguração modificadora da população chapecoense. Nesse sentido, a cidade não é o resultado das inovações, da modernidade ou do crescimento pelo qual Chapecó está passando em quase um século de existência, ela é um dos resultados. Deve-se considerar, ainda, que ela é mutável, tanto no aspecto físico/técnico quanto na cotidianidade. O rural também é mutável e, para entender a cidade, seu planejamento e ordenamento produção espacial -, o diálogo com o rural se torna essencial.

Para isso, a metodologia utilizada foi a seleção de parte do repertório de Lied organizada de acordo com as dificuldades técnicas. Durante o trabalho, são sugeridas soluções para as dificuldades apontadas baseadas em princípios da Escola pianística de Dorothy Taubman. Neste trabalho, também são abordadas qualidades e habilidades artísticas baseadas na acepção de Martin Katz. Ao final do trabalho, pôde-se observar que as canções de câmara apresentam diversas dificuldades técnico-artísticas, demonstrando-se que é possível se desenvolver pianisticamente também através de outro repertório que não seja o solístico<br>Abstract: The objective of this work is to address the pianist's technical-artistic development through the genre of the romantic Lied. For this, the methodology used was the selection of examples from the Lied repertoire organized according to pianistic difficulties. Solutions to the difficulties found are suggested based on principles of Dorothy Taubman's Approach. In this work, artistic qualities and abilities demanded from the pianists are discussed using the writings of Martin Katz. Abstract:
En 1993, José Luis Sampedro, grand économiste et écrivain espagnol contemporain, achève « Real Sitio » (« Résidence Royale »). Dans une note finale, il déclare qu'il s'agit là du troisième volet d'une trilogie qu'il intitule « Los círculos del tiempo » (« Les cercles du temps »). Par là même, il réunit ce roman à « Octubre, octubre » et « La vieja sirena » (« La vieille sirène »). A première vue, rien ne lie ces trois œuvres, si ce n'est cette métaphore circulaire qui apparaît dans la structure narrative interne. Le présent du récit, entraîné par le travail de mémoire des personnages, dessine un cercle. Cette métaphore imprime sa forme dans la structure globale de l'œuvre : le premier volet de la trilogie et le troisième, aux chapitres binaires, entourent un axe simple, le roman central. Ce cercle, changeant et toujours en mouvement, devient spirale. Cependant, c'est dans les personnages vivant dans des lieux d'ancrage lourds de sens que cette métaphore s'incarne pleinement. Vivant dans des époques-charnières où une civilisation s'efface devant une autre, entraînés par des objets, des événements, des rencontres, mus par les cercles du temps, ils sont en quête de l'amour et, dans cette recherche vitale, ils ne peuvent échapper à la confrontation avec la mort d'êtres chéris ou avec la leur. Leur cheminement les conduit à s'enquérir de la nature de leur propre identité. Entraîné dans la spirale, le lecteur est amené à se poser, alors, la question du sens de leur vie et à s'interroger sur le rôle du divin. De ce travail de réflexion essentielle, il retient la conviction de certains personnages et, derrière eux, celle de leur auteur : la foi en l'être humain.

Situé au cœur du Hainaut, le musée de Mariemont doit son existence à la volonté de Raoul Warocqué, riche industriel, homme politique et philanthrope qui lègue en 1917 son château et les collections qu’il renferme à l’État belge. Formé ainsi d’un contenant et d’un contenu, le musée de Mariemont incarne bien, du moins jusqu’à l’incendie du château en 1960, ce qu’Anne-Doris Meyer a appelé les « musées de collectionneurs », dont bon nombre d’exemples voient le jour à la charnière des 19e et 20e siècles, en Belgique comme à l’étranger.<p>De l’histoire du musée de Mariemont, on ne retient généralement que le geste qui lui a donné naissance. Aucune étude ne s’était penchée jusqu’ici sur ce qui se passe après le décès de Raoul Warocqué. This study investigates modern Yugoslav architecture in the 1945-1965 period, taking an analysis of museum projects as a basis. Rebuilding of the country and urban development in Yugoslavia after the World War II enabled planning the construction of a significant number of museums. This period is also characterized by the fact that, in addition to seven museums that were built, there were a significan! number of projects that have never been realized. Ali of them, the realized and those which were only designed, made a significant contribution to the development of museum architecture. Moreover, some of them are pointed out as the culmination of a period rich in architectural construction and represent the best Yugoslav architecture. The intention is to thoroughly analyze the criteria and ideas that govern the development of the architectural language of all these projects and to explain, on the basis of that, whether there are or not the original features defining the museum architecture of the mentioned historical period in Yugoslavia. In particular, we do not intend to limit our analysis to the study of specific types of buildings, nor to those museums that are historical examples, but rather to emphasize and insist on influences and relationships that are reflected, within the subject we are dealing with, within the Yugoslav context. ldentification of these complex relationships occurring within a specific modernity is analyzed based on four approaches. The first approach consists of a museum study observed under the prism of socio-political reality of the newly founded socialist state. The second principle describes the environment, evolution and consequences of architectural competitions for museums. The third principle focuses on museum buildings and puts them in the framework of the general context of intense urban transformation. Finally, the fourth principle analyzes the characteristics of functional and formal aspects. Now, we can conclude that the mutual relationships that exist among the different approaches create a common place and specific characteristics of the museum architecture. Also, they cause that the principles and strategies of the international architecture in this period, which were very well known then, obtained in Yugoslavia a personal touch that sets them apart from others. lntending to place these specific issues in the appropriate ideological, cultural and geographical context, this study presents opinions of the protagonists of these events and of the period (architects, commissioners. panelists, politicians). Thus. this study presents a text that serves as a "choral'' thinking about this period of Yugoslav architecture, while maintaining a critical spirit of this group of opinions.<br>La presente tesis analiza la arquitectura moderna yugoslava entre 1945 y 1965 tomando como eje vertebrador el estudio de los proyectos museísticos. La reconstrucción del país y el desarrollo urbano que tiene lugar en Yugoslavia tras la guerra, hacen posible planificar la construcción de un importante número de museos. Este período es también característico porque, además de los siete museos que se construyen, hay un significativo número de proyectos que no se llegan nunca a realizar. Todos ellos, los construidos y los únicamente proyectados, contribuyen en gran manera al desarrollo de la arquitectura de los museos. Es más, algunos de ellos destacan como la culminación de un período rico en construcciones arquitectónicas y son representativos de la mejor arquitectura yugoslava. El propósito es conocer en profundidad los criterios y las ideas que rigen el desarrollo del lenguaje arquitectónico de todos estos proyectos y en base a ello dilucidar si existen, o no, rasgos genuinos que definan la arquitectura museística de dicho período histórico en Yugoslavia. En concreto, no se trata de limitar nuestro análisis al estudio de un tipo determinado de edificio. ni al de aquellos museos que sean ejemplos históricos, sino más bien resaltar e insistir en las influencias y conexiones que se reflejan, en el tema que nos ocupa, dentro del ámbito yugoslavo. La identificación de estas complejas relaciones que acontecen en el marco de una contemporaneidad específica, se analiza a partir de cuatro enfoques. El primero consiste en el estudio de los museos contemplado bajo el prisma de la realidad político social del recién fundado Estado Socialista. El segundo describe el ambiente, la evolución y las consecuencias de los concursos arquitectónicos para museos. El tercero centra su atención en los edificios museísticos enmarcándolos dentro de un contexto general de intensas transformaciones urbanas. Finalmente el cuarto enfoque analiza las características de los aspectos funcionales y formales. Y así podemos concluir que son precisamente las interrelaciones que se dan entre estos diferentes enfoques, las que crean el discurso común y los rasgos específicos de la arquitectura museística. También influyen en que los principios y estrategias de la arquitectura internacional de aquel momento, que por entonces son ya bien conocidos, adquieran en Yugoslavia el acento personal que los distingue. La tesis con el propósito de encuadrar estas cuestiones específicas en su adecuado contexto ideológico, cultural y geográfico da voz a las opiniones de los protagonistas de aquellos hechos y época (arquitectos, comisarios, miembros de los jurados, políticos). Así, la tesis, manteniendo un espíritu critico sobre este conjunto de opiniones, construye un texto que funciona como reflexión "coral" sobre este periodo de la arquitectura yugoslava.

Abstract:
The introduction of gendered third person pronouns in written Chinese in the late 1910s has been hailed as one of the seismic linguistic shifts of May Fourth (1919), a period which was rife with debates on the position of women and men in Chinese society. While research on the topic has mainly framed this event as being about linguistic progress and about “her,” little attention has been paid to the specific ways in which the new pronouns were vocally opposed, quietly subverted, or leveraged by writers of the period and how this affected gender representation in literary texts, especially at a time when literature was deemed the foremost tool for the unification of the language and the education of the people.Rather than focusing on “the invention” of a third person feminine as customary of existing scholarship, my dissertation aims to retrieve the diversity of literary uses of linguistic gender that often went hand in hand with political goals. As the introduction of a new feminine pronoun ushered in the formerly gender-inclusive third-person pronoun being rewritten as masculine, I scrutinize the works of four writers representative of both early adopters and outspoken opponents of the new pronouns: Liu Dabai 劉大白 (1880-1932), Ling Shuhua 凌叔華 (1900-1990), Zhao Yuanren 趙元任 (1892-1982), and Xiao Hong 蕭紅 (1911-1942). Together, they exemplify different generations of writers working with a variety of genres (prose, poetry, drama, translation) and a variety of linguistic and social movements. This corpus allows to uncover not only how each of them plays with linguistic and gendered norms prevalent at the time (through homophony, creation of characters, deictic shifts, etc.), but also how genre itself impacted pronominal manipulations. These debates are contextualised against an historicization of “pronouns” as a linguistic category which came to be understood as open-ended and “lacking” gender over the course of the nineteenth century. This dissertation probes how these views paved the way for a wide variety of gendered pronouns being quickly incorporated after 1917 when the stakes moved from a specialty issue of interest to literary translators and linguists to one that involved institutionalizing the language and gender equality in general.Beyond its contribution to the field of Republican Chinese literature, this dissertation shows how relevant Chinese literary “pronominal politics” from 1917-1937 are to contemporary debates on inclusive writing and helps (re)place sinophone literature on the map of contemporary theoretical developments in pronoun studies, historical and comparative linguistics, translation studies, and feminist literary studies, where Anglo-European canonical works tend to remain overwhelmingly the focus of inquiry.<br>Doctorat en Langues, lettres et traductologie<br>info:eu-repo/semantics/nonPublished

Robert Goodnough was an American artist (painter and sculptor) and writer, who was active during the second half of the twentieth century. He became involved in the discussions on the subject matter of the artists which took place in the 1940s and early 1950s. Con questo convegno, promosso a pochi mesi dalla sua morte, l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia e il Centro documentazione e ricerca Trentin hanno inteso – incrociando le ricerche di studiosi di diversa estrazione e le testimonianze di chi lo ha conosciuto – restituire unità alle due ‘facce’ della sua figura: da una parte la militanza civile e antifascista, marchio caratteristico e inconfondibile della famiglia, dall’altra l’impegno in campo artistico, che era invece lo spazio individuale di Giorgio o, meglio, la sua personale declinazione di quella militanza comune. Nella tecnica incisoria egli scorgeva, infatti, un paradigma irrinunciabile di rigore morale e di ricerca della verità.

Abstract:
Not much is written about communication in the languages of natural sciences and hunting. Only a few authors explore literature and the language of forestry or hunting (Dynak 1988, 1991a, 1991b, 1993, 1994, 2004, 2012; Jóźwiak Z. 2004; Jóźwiak J. 2013; Kloc 2019; Kościelniak-Marszał 2013; Pajewska 2003; Przybecki 2008). At the same time, these languages, both in Poland and abroad, have not been researched into so far from a broader comparative perspective in the field of intercultural communication. First of all, monolingual dictionaries are available on the market (e.g. Hoppe 1970; Gawin 2016; Jóźwiak; Biały 1994; Kozłowski 1996; Krzemień 1986; Szałapak 2004). In addition, you can find several bilingual dictionaries of the forestry or hunting language in Polish-English (Kloc 2013, 2015; Witkowska 2010), Polish-German (Niedbał 1917; Żeromski 1990; Klin et al. 2006) pairs and vice versa, but there are no dictionaries for other language pairs, e.g. Polish-French. There are also no papers devoted to communication problems, despite the fact that books on nature sciences and hunting are translated from various languages into Polish, and there is a market demand for translators ensuring effective interlingual communication during hunting trips. The aim of the work is to present the problems of intercultural communication in the field of natural sciences and hunting language. The results presented in the work were obtained by analyzing the work of students participating in a specialist translation course. A qualitative analysis of the mistakes made by students has been made and conclusions have been drawn as to how well a student of philological studies is prepared to translate natural science texts, including hunting texts.

Abstract:
After a period of heavy rainfall, the landslide of a mass of residual soil in the side slope to the Pipeline Range of PETROBRAS occurred, in which two oil pipelines and gas pipeline connecting a terminal to a refinery. On the day following the event in field inspection performed by the TRANSPETRO team, it was found that due to the landslide, the gas pipeline was exposed, with a Section of approximately 8.0 meters apparent in a slope at risk of undergoing deformations with the movement of unstable soil. In the course of the inspection several indications soil movement were observed, such as cracks in the ground, breaks and located cracks in reinforced concrete structures of the drainage system. Surge flow of water or soil saturation was not found, despite the high rate of rainfall during the period. Thus one ruled out the possibility of the presence of a high water table which could have caused sliding. It is assumed that this may have begun on lower slopes due to deficiencies in the surface drainage system, which caused the accumulation of rainwater and its collapse. Hence, ruptures allegedly have occurred progressively upstream until it reaches the side of the pipeline range. To ensure the integrity of the gas pipeline and operational safety and prevent the evolution of the incidents with more serious consequences, a contingency group responsible for coordinating emergency actions to contain the slope and protecting the pipeline exposed was called. The first actions consisted of protecting the slope using a plastic tarpaulin to prevent the infiltration of more rainwater, metal profile riveting to contain side soil movement to the pipelines and finally to the implementation of contention with soil nailing technique with shotcrete on the surface of the slope where the pipeline was exposed found. Repairs to the surface drainage system of the range and slopes, which had been damaged during landslide were made. In parallel to emergency actions, a campaign of geotechnical surveys using Standard Penetration Test (SPT) aiming at providing grounds for stability studies for the preparation of final stabilization project of the slope.
