The present work analyzes the complex relationship that was established during the interwar period between the American press and the legislative committees which investigated the propaganda activities of subversive movements and large private corporations during those years. The investigation is the result of the examination of journalistic sources and documentary evidence recently collected from various US federal and state archives. The main hypothesis is that the struggle against propaganda by both the press and the legislative committees became a new form of manipulation of public opinion

These stemmed from two reasons - Serbia?s painful experience from the Great War on which occasion the cutting off of the route for Salonica had had

The non-European taxa of the genus Nychiodes Lederer, 1853 are revised. Type specimens of all described species and a large series of about 800 additional specimens were morphologically examined. More than 400 genitalia preparations were made and analyzed along with distributional and DNA barcode data. As a result of our integrative taxonomic approach, Nychiodes waltheri saerdabica Wehrli, 1938 syn. nov., is synonymized with N. waltheri Wagner, 1919; N. palaestinensis libanotica Zerny, 1933 syn. nov. is synonymized with N. palaestinensis Wagner, 1919 and the synonymy of N. persuavis Wehrli, 19

Abstract:
The subgenus Physocrema of the genus Crematogaster is revised. Twelve species are recognized in the subgenus, of which two are new to science: C. (Physocrema) tanakai sp. nov. and C. (P.) yamanei sp. nov. An identification key based on the worker caste is provided. Taxonomic relationships between C. (P.) difformis and similar species are clarified. Crematogaster (P.) vacca Forel 1911 is raised to species level. The following new synonymies are proposed: C. (P.) inflata F. Smith 1857 = C. (P.) moorei Donisthorpe 1941 syn. nov.; C. (P.) mucronata Emery 1900 = C. (P.) fulmeki Forel 1922 syn. nov.

Abstract:
When evaluating Serbian music between the two world wars, we take as our starting point compositions that are valuable in their own right, whether their creators were oriented towards tradition and moderate stylistic trends, or were adherents of the latest tendencies in music. Only compositions that defined their creators' stylistic profiles are considered. We are aware that the value judgments pronounced by older generations of musicologists may differ from the attitude that their younger colleagues have towards the same works. We also understand that the attitude towards the past changes to
