Статья посвящена истории написания «Очерков древней истории Украинской ССР» – первой обобщающей работы, подготовленной сотрудниками киевского Института археологии АН УССР. Начатая в 1948 году и запланированная на два года, она затянулась на восемь лет, сама же книга была издана только в 1957. Тексты несколько раз переделывались, иногда писались заново уже другими авторами. Поэтому можно выделить несколько этапов создания книги: 1948–1950 – первоначальная подготовка текстов; 1951–1952 – первое исправление, связанное с выходом статьи И.В. Сталина; 1953–1955 – полная переделка работы, обусловленная сменой концепции в сторону большей историчности. Это также повлекло изменения и в структуре издания. Помимо влияния политики ещё одной причиной задержки стали просчёты руководства ИА АН УССР в организации работы.

Concepción Bonet Muñoz (1916-2014) fue la primera mujer que se incorporó a la geología profesional y, además contribuyó en la implementación de la fotogeología en España. Cursó Ciencias Naturales en Madrid, graduándose en 1943. Se dedicó a la enseñanza, y en 1950 obtuvo una beca del CSIC para especializarse como paleontóloga. Entre 1953 y 1954, realizó una estancia en la Universidad de Heerlen (Holanda) para estudiar las megasporas carboníferas. Defendió su Tesis Doctoral en 1955. Entre 1954 y 1956 dió clases en la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales. Se especializó en Fotogeología y entre 1956 y 1973 impartió clases de fotogeología. En 1957 ingresó en la Junta de Energía Nuclear, dónde creó el Departamento de Fotogeología y realizó varias estancias de especialización en el extranjero. En 1964 entró en la Dirección General de Carreteras del Ministerio de Obras Públicas, donde permaneció hasta que se jubiló en 1984. Trabajó en el desarrollo del Plan General de Carreteras y participó en los Estudios Geológicos Previos de las principales carreteras, donde influyó en la metodología de trabajo, incluyendo los fotoplanos geológicos como herramienta fundamental de trabajo, tanto por su aportación al conocimiento de la geomorfología como por su utilidad para buscar materias primas para la obra pública.

Long-term variability of the cold subsurface water (CSW) in the Okhotsk Sea is analyzed on the base of all available oceanographic data collected in March through August of 1946-2015 (total 65,742 stations). The Integral Heat Content (IHC) is calculated for each station and average annual IHC anomalies of the cold subsurface water are determined by month and by 2-degree grid. The IHC anomaly series are analyzed using the EOF analysis. Cycles with period of approximately 30 years are revealed in the variations of the subsurface layer heat content. Thus, in the 1946-1950, its temperature decreased, but it grew since 2009-2010 to 2015. The warming of CSW was also observed in the 1951-1964 and 1978-1994, while the cooling was in the 1965-1977 and 1995-2008. Based on this criterion, the CSW thermal condition in certain years is classified as «extremely cold» in 2001, as «cold» in 1949, 1950, 1951, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1966, 1967, 1969, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1999, 2000, 2010, 2012, as «normal» in 1946, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1957, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1975, 1979, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1993, 1995, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, as «warm» in 1948, 1956, 1964, 1968, 1974, 1981, 1984, 1987, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1997, 2015, and as «extremely warm» in 1963. Statistically significant correlation is found between changes of the CSW thermal conditions and long-term variations of atmosphere and ocean climate indices, as well as local patterns of the atmosphere-ice-ocean interaction in the Okhotsk Sea and adjacent onshore and offshore areas of Asia and the Pacific Ocean.

(Ernesto Juan Fonfrias, “Guatemala: un pueblo triste,” Diario de Centro América, Sept. 1, 1950.)Fonfrias’ assessment of Guatemala in 1950 contains important clues to understanding the “revolution” from 1944 to 1954 and its overthrow. The revolution has been extensively studied; but most works have concentrated on American involvement in the overthrow of the government of Jacobo Arbenz Guzmán in 1954 and have thus only provided us with limited views of the various conflicts that developed during the two revolutionary administrations (Juan José Arévalo, 1944-51, and Arbenz, 1951-54). This has most certainly been the case with studies of rural Guatemala during the revolution. Despite the importance of the agrarian reform initiated in 1952, the reform and the conflicts that it fostered are not clearly understood. Recent research has suggested, however, that the tensions were more complex and more deeply rooted in Guatemala's rural history than earlier works had indicated.

W artykule opisany został jeden ze słabiej znanych epizodów w pisarskiej biografii Tadeusza Różewicza. Poeta, którego miejsce w hierarchii artystycznej epoki było stosunkowo wysokie, w latach stalinizmu zdaje się poszukiwać kompromisu między pełnowartościową twórczością artystyczną a lansowanym przez czynniki oficjalne obrazem doskonałego świata komunistycznej utopii. Wyrazem tego rodzaju tendencji są niektóre wiersze z tomów Pięć poematów (1950), Czas który idzie (1951), Wiersze i obrazy (1952), Równina (1954), Srebrny kłos (1955). Teksty te zostały stosunkowo dobrze opisane, podczas gdy do niedawna niemal nieznane pozostawały krótkie utwory narracyjne, które Różewicz w latach 1952–1953 opublikował na łamach przeznaczonego dla młodzieży pisma „Płomyk”. Opowiadania Towarzysz Marian i Gwiazdy Budapesztu pozostają zasadniczo zgodne z obowiązującą wówczas tendencją socrealistyczną. Pierwsze z nich ukazuje wyidealizowany życiorys jednego z komunistycznych „świętych”, Mariana Buczka – przede wszystkim rzekomo bohaterskie ostatnie dni i godziny jego życia (Buczek ginie z bronią w ręku, podczas walki z niemieckim okupantem). Gwiazdy Budapesztu to z kolei równie jednowymiarowy obraz cywilizacyjnych, społecznych i technicznych zdobyczy komunizmu na Węgrzech. Autor artykułu podejmuje próbę analizy tych tekstów oraz ujrzenia ich na tle życia publicznego Polskiej Rzeczypospolitej Ludowej lat stalinizmu.

The article is devoted to the famous scientist-surveyor, mining engineer and cartographer, a captain of the geodetic detachment, Kliment Aleksandrovich Zvonarev (1902–1986). K. A. Zvonarev went from a student of the Leningrad Mining Institute (graduated in 1928) to Doctor of Technology (1953) and professor (1954). From 1929 to 1957 he taught at the Leningrad Mining Institute (since 1935 – associate professor, since 1954 – professor), in the period of 1957–1978 he headed the Department of Cartography in Leningrad State University. Participant of the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945. He served in the engineering units of the Leningrad, Volkhov and Karelian fronts as the topographic department head’s assistant, military engineer and engineer-captain of the geodetic service. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star (1942), Badge of Honor (1948), medals For the Defense of Leningrad (1943), For the Victory over Germany (1946), For Labor Valor (1950), In Memory of the 250th Anniversary of Leningrad (1957), 20 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1966). The authors provide information on working, the main scientific achievements and recollections by Kliment Alexandrovich about his participation in battles.

Hukum Tata Negara Darurat merupakan konsep hukum yang secara terpaksa, harus dijalankan oleh Negara, dimana Negara berada dalam keadaan bahaya dan/atau darurat. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini bagaimanakah Hukum Tata Negara Darurat Pada Masa Republik Indonesia Serikat (RIS 1949) dan Hukum Tata Negara Darurat Pada Masa Undang-Undang Dasar Sementara (UUDS 1950)? Kemudian Hukum Tata Negara Darurat pada masa konstitusi RIS 1949 dan UUDS 1950 banyak mengeluarkan Undang-undang terkait darurat pemerintahan pada masa RIS 1949 dan UUDS 1950. Tetapi terdapat perubahan Undang-undang Darurat Militer pada masa UUDS 1950. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian hukum normatif karena hanya menggunakan bahan kepustakaan atau data sekunder. Dalam masa Konstitusi RIS 43 Undang-Undang Daruta yang dibentuk kebanyakan merupakan Undang-Undang terkait jalannya suatu pemerintah dan peradilan pada masa Konstitusi RIS. Pada tahun 1953 masa Konstitusi UUDS dibentuk Undang-Undang Darurat Sembilan peraturan darurat. Kemudian pada tahun 1954 terdapat 12 Peratuan Darurat, pada tahun 1955 terdapat 20 peraturan darurat yang di bentuk, pada tahun 1956 sembilan peraturan yang dibuat, pada tahun 1957 terdapat 27 peraturan darurat yang dibuat, dan pada tahun 1959 terdapat tujuh peraturan darurat. Kemudian dalam masa Konstitusi UUDS Peraturan Pemerintah yang keadaan darurat dibentuk sebanyak sebelas Peraturan pemerintah dan satu Keputusan Presiden terkait kedaruratan.

In order to evaluate the variability in surface water masses in the Western Pacific Warm Pool, we report high-precision radiocarbon measurements in annual and seasonal bands from Pontes lutea corals collected from the Palau Archipelago (7°N, 134°E). Annual coral bands from 1945 to 2008 and seasonal samples from 1953 to 1957 were analyzed to capture the initial early input of bomb 14C from surface thermonuclear weapons testing in the Marshall Islands. Results show a pre-bomb average δ14C value of-54.9% between 1945 and early 1953. Beginning early in 1954, there is a rapid increase to a maximum of-23.1% at the start of 1955. Values continued to rise after 1957 to a post-bomb peak of 141% by 1976. The large initial rise in δ14C cannot be accounted for by air-sea CO2 exchange. Results therefore suggest that the primary cause of this increase is the lateral advection of fallout-contaminated water from the Marshall Islands to Palau via the North Equatorial Current and then to the North Equatorial Countercurrent.

Este trabajo tiene como propósito principal analizar el crecimiento industrial en Colombia entre 1945 y 1953. En primer lugar, se muestra que dicho crecimiento, entre los años 1932-1945, se caracterizó por su escasa diversificación sectorial: se desarrollaron principalmente las agrupaciones establecidas antes de la crisis de 1929. La industria pasará a desarrollar los sectores de bienes intermedios y de capital y consumo durable después de la segunda postguerra; pero hasta ahora no se ha establecido exactamente cuándo ocurrió este cambio ni bajo qué condiciones, pues en el período 1945 - 1968 hubo una fase de abundancia de divisas hasta 1954 y de escasez después de ese año y los aranceles de 1932 y 1951 no amparaban a tales sectores sino al de bienes de consumo. A checklist of the dragonflies and damselflies occurring in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India (including Andaman and Nicobar Islands), Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka is presented. In total 588 (including 559 full species) taxa are known to occur in the region of which 251 taxa (species & subspecies) are single country endemics. Recent taxonomic changes relevant to the area are summarized. Sixteen taxa are synonymized and a checklist of all synonyms established since 1950 is provided. Information is given on available larval descriptions including a list of genera present in the region for which no larvae have yet been described. Numerous species occurring in the area are still poorly known and a list of genera for which a revision is urgently needed is provided. Досліджено радіальний приріст Pinus sylvestris L. у Лівобережному Лісостепу. Використано метод накладання епох, сутність якого полягає в тому, що динаміку приросту й кліматичних чинників розглядають у межах 11-річного циклу сонячної активності (циклу Швабе – Вольфа). Створено регіональну хронологію для Лісостепу, яка складається із 62 індивідуальних деревно-кільцевих серій. Зіставлено динаміку деревно-кільцевої індексної хронології RESIDUAL та динаміку чисел Вольфа. Виявлено цикли сонячної активності (СА) за числами Вольфа тривалістю 9–13 років: 1823–1834, 1834–1843, 1843–1856, 1878–1889, 1889–1901, 1901–1912, 1912–1924, 1924–1934, 1934–1944, 1944–1954, 1954–1964, 1964–1976, 1976–1986, 1986–1997, 1997–2008, 2008–2019 та 2019–2030 рр. На гілці підйому СА зафіксовано збільшення кількості опадів та амплітуди коливань показників зволоження й температури. Отже, у вологі періоди доцільно створювати лісові культури, а перехідні до сухих років періоди використовувати для проведення рубок догляду. Виявлено зв’язок між рівнем вологозабезпечення (гідротермічний коефіцієнт), динамікою приросту дерев і пожежонебезпечними сезонами. Дендрохронологічними методами виявлено роки з мінімальною вологістю, тобто пожежонебезпечні, – 2020, 2024 та 2028 рр., а також роки з максимальною вологістю – 2021, 2023 та 2025 рр.

O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar alguns discursos de professores rurais gaúchos da década de 1950 presentes nos Boletins do Ensino Rural, que foram produzidos e publicados pela Superintendência do Ensino Rural, vinculada à Secretaria de Educação e Cultura do Rio Grande do Sul, um impresso oficial que tinha como propósito a instrução e o fortalecimento das instituições de ensino rural, voltado, especialmente, para os professores das escolas rurais. Os Boletins analisados referem-se aos números publicados nos anos de 1954, 1954/1955, 1956, 1957 e 1958. Para tanto, utilizamos como referencial teórico-metodológico os escritos de Carlos Bacellar (2005), no que tange à análise documental, e Bezera Neto (2003) e Sud Mennucci (1946), no tocante ao ruralismo pedagógico. O processo de análise documental possibilitou perceber a ação empreendida pela Superintendência do Ensino Rural para alcançar os preceitos defendidos pelo ruralismo pedagógico. Os textos produzidos por professores de escolas rurais apresentavam os problemas e as potencialidades destas comunidades, indicando práticas de ensino e postura adequadas à “missão” a ser desempenhada pelos docentes rurais.

This study begins with striking the geopolitical balance in Europe of the French Indochinese war within the framework of the Cold War. On one side, France needs an independent expeditionary force to remain a World power during the 1950's. On the other side, ECD or NATO require to keep important French field forces on the European soil, since the EDC Agreements and then the London Agreements assign 12 divisions to West Germany. Therefore, each theatre of operations is ambiguous and source of misunderstandings with the Atlantic allies of France, especially United States and Great Britain. On one end, the Indochinese conflict is as much a colonial struggle (inconsistent with American liberalism), as a primary Cold War issue in which however the United States subsidize the French overseas forces ($ 1,1 billion for 1953-1954). In Europe, the main threat remains of course the USSR whereas the French skeptical opinion still watches over Germany with anxiety. That explains the basic indecision of the legislative branch (Assemblée nationale ), and of the shaky governments of the IVth Republic. Just after Diên Biên Phu (Laniel Government), the Mendès France Government fails to obtain the ratification of ECD. It means very difficult relations between France and the other members of NATO about the French taking part in the common effort. The financial strain on French budget (because of Vietnam), chronic inflation, and now the Algerian crisis (11/1/1954) imperil the national outlay on armaments. Moreover, Algeria absorbs at least the two thirds of the home army with its NATO equipment, also subsidized by the United States (1952-1955). This material deficit and strategical breach in the integrated Atlantic command provoke growing tensions. We will analyze the reactions of the French high command, and its attempts to define a military disposition in harmony with the overseas needs, the heavy budget deficits and the NATO requirements. We will especially concentrate on the chaotic fate of the Yellow Plan (1954-1955) and of the Orange Plan (1956-1958), proposed by the general staff and the French Minister of Defence in order to reorganize the land forces.

In the mid-1950s, two distinguished Italian researchers, the mycologist Raffaele Ciferri (1895–1965) and the phytosociologist Ruggero Tomaselli (1920–1982), decided that a separate system of naming lichen mycobionts independent of the intact thalli was necessary. In this they were stimulated by the pioneering studies of Thomas (1939) in particular, which showed how different cultured isolated mycobionts appeared from whole lichen thalli. Thomas had already introduced separate names, ending in the suffix “-myces”, and they determined to introduce a comprehensive suite of generic names for lichen mycobionts in a series of papers (Tomaselli & Ciferri 1952; Ciferri & Tomaselli 1953, 1954, 1957). The numbers of generic names coined and validly published with Latin diagnoses were substantial: 15 in 1952, 203 in 1953, and a further nine in 1954. They made proposals to change the provisions of the Code, which then already ruled that names given to lichens were to be regarded as applying to their fungal components, but these were defeated and never adopted; this rule remains in the Code in Art. 13.1 (Greuter et al. 2000).

Türkiye, 14 Mayıs 1950 Genel Seçimlerinden sonra çok partili sisteme geçmiştir. Demokrat Parti, 1954 ve 1957’de yapılan seçimleri kazanarak on yıl boyunca iktidarda kalmıştır. Demokrat Parti, 1950, 1954 ve 1957 yıllarında yapılan seçimlerde hemen hemen her ilden milletvekili çıkarmıştır. Demokrat Parti, ülke genelinde olduğu gibi Niğde’de de aynı başarıyı göstererek, 1950 ve 1954 seçimlerinde Niğde milletvekillerinin tamamını kazanmıştır. Hasan Hayati Ülkün, 1954 seçimlerinde Demokrat Parti’den Niğde Milletvekili seçilen milletvekilleri arasında yer almıştır. Hasan H. Ülkün, 1954-1957 yılları arasında Niğde Milletvekili olarak TBMM’de görev yapmıştır. 1957 yılı seçimlerinde Nevşehir Milletvekili olarak seçilen Hasan H. Ülkün, yeniden Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi’nde görev yapmıştır.
Hasan H. Ülkün, Niğde Milletvekili iken Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi Adalet Komisyonu Üyeliği ve Kütüphane Komisyonu Üyeliği görevlerinde bulunmuştur. Hasan H. Ülkün, milleti ve ülkesi adına üzerine düşen görev ve sorumlulukları yerine getirmeye özen göstermiştir. Hasan H. Ülkün ülkenin yerel ve ulusal sorunlarını, halkın şikâyet ve taleplerini Meclis gündemine taşıyarak çözüm bulunması için çaba harcamıştır. Hasan H. Ülkün; Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi’nde Bayındırlık, Eğitim, Ekonomi, Tarım ve Sağlık gibi konularda söz almış, soru önergeleri vermiş ve kanun teklifleri sunmuştur.
Niğde milletvekilleri arasından yapılan inceleme ve araştırmalar sonucunda Hasan H. Ülkün’ün Niğde Milletvekili olduğu dönemde Meclis’te yoğun bir faaliyet gösterdiği görülmüştür. Bu nedenle bu çalışma hem Hasan H. Ülkün’ü örnek göstermek, hem de Niğde Milletvekili olarak yaptığı çalışmaları ortaya koymak amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Bu araştırma makalesinde öncelikle Hasan H. Ülkün’ün hayatına değinilmiş, ardından Meclis faaliyetleri ele alınmış ve son olarak genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada Hasan H. Ülkün’ün Meclis çalışmaları kronolojik sıraya uygun olarak verilmiştir. Doküman analiz yönteminin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada akademik çalışmalar, arşiv kaynakları ve TBMM tutanakları değerlendirilmiştir.

The elections of 1951, 1953, 1954 and 1955 are examined. At the same time, the figures obtained in these elections are compared with the national ones and those stipulated years later with the Quota and Gender Parity law.

En 1953, en Londres, se publica de forma póstuma A Writer’s Diary de Virginia Woolf, editado por su esposo Leonard Woolf. Victoria Ocampo lo lee en enero de 1954, y escribe impulsiva y velozmente Virginia Woolf en su diario, que fecha en marzo de 1954, y que su editorial Sur publica en junio de 1954. En esta lectura urgida, manifiesta sus dudas sobre aquello que Leonard no incluyó en esta versión del “diario expurgado” y advierte sobre la problemática del manejo de los papeles privados de una escritora in absentia. No es el primer diario póstumo que lee: en 1951 ya había leído Et Nunc Manet in te sivi de Journal Intime (1951) de André Gide y se había ocupado de traducir The Mint (1955) de T.E. Lawrence. De cada uno de ellos, Ocampo aprende algo sobre la posibilidad de, acaso, controlar su posteridad. Precisamente, ella empieza a escribir su Autobiografía a principios de los años cincuenta y por ese entonces comunica que será, por decisión autoral, una publicación póstuma. Este trabajo indaga cómo Ocampo reflexiona acerca de las condiciones de publicación de su Autobiografía al conocer cómo ha sido la edición de diarios de escritores después de su muerte.

Prokopowicz pracował w Chinach, a następnie na Filipinach w administracji i jako szef różnych robotników. Uczył Fingiese, znał hiszpański, chiński, telugu, rosyjski, włoski. A inteligentna i nieoceniona pomoc dyrektorów i prefektów dzieł salezjańskich. Don Głowicki pracował przez pewien czas w Chinach, a po święceniach kapłańskich na Filipinach jako dyrektor a następnie administrator w różnych domach salezjańskich Dzieło salezjańskie kwitnie na Filipinach. kielich misyjnej krwi i potu (marzenie Ks. En este artículo se analiza la presencia material del Mediterráneo y la Isla de Capri en un conjunto acotado de poemas y memorias del poeta chileno Pablo Neruda (1904-1973), a través de las nociones de territorio y agenciamiento, desarrolladas por Deleuze y Guattari en Mil mesetas. En el imaginario nerudiano, el Mediterráneo adquiere la categoría de espacio vital durante el periodo europeo de exilio político del poeta (1950-1952). La escritura exiliar de Neruda es una “escritura en movimiento” que a su paso agencia con los territorios y naturalezas mediterráneas. Nos interesa la escritura mediterránea producida en relación con la estadía de Pablo Neruda y Matilde Urrutia en Capri, en 1952, específicamente, los poemarios Los versos del Capitán (1952), Las uvas y el viento (1954), La barcarola (1967), y algunos fragmentos de las memorias Confieso que he vivido (1974) y Para nacer he nacido (1978). Alexander (1954: 489) recorded a petrel (Aves: Procellariiformes) captured alive on board a ship in the Indian Ocean by Mr W.W.A. Phillips who, after removing some lice, liberated it the following morning. Alexander (1954) identified that petrel as the species “Pterodroma aterrima Bonaparte”, now placed in the genus Pseudobulweria. The lice were kept in the collection of the then British Museum (Natural History), now the Natural History Museum, London, England. Jouanin (1955) published a new species of petrel from the Indian Ocean as Bulweria fallax. Jouanin (1957: 19) discussed the identity of the petrel identified by Alexander (1954) as Pterodroma aterrima, stating that the descriptive data given by Alexander (1954) did not clearly fit either P. aterrima or B. fallax. However, considering the geographical coordinates where the bird was captured, Jouanin (1957) believed it was more likely Bulweria fallax.

A dendrochronological reconstruction of insect outbreaks was conducted along a latitudinal gradient from 46°N to 54°N in the boreal forest of western Quebec, Canada. Tree-ring chronologies of the host species, trembling aspen ( Populus tremuloides Michx.), were constructed to identify periods of severe defoliation and comparisons were made with tree-ring chronologies of nonhost species. In addition, the frequency of white and narrow rings was used to further confirm the occurrence of insect outbreaks at these latitudes. Some major outbreaks occurred in relatively close synchrony at the regional scale, but the initiation year, intensity, and extent of the outbreaks varied spatially. For example, the 1950s outbreaks were observed from 1951 to 1952 at 46°N, from 1953 to 1954 at 47°N, and from 1954 to 1956 at 48°N. Other major outbreaks like the 1964 and 1980 outbreaks were fairly well synchronized at northern latitudes. The observed outbreaks in trembling aspen stands at 54°N also provided clear evidence that severe insect defoliation occurs much further north than the currently reported range limit, that is, between 49°N and 51°N, of the most important trembling aspen defoliator, the forest tent caterpillar ( Malacosoma disstria Hubner). Our study demonstrated that careful identification of white rings in host species can provide valid information allowing the expansion of the forestry insect inventory database both at temporal and spatial scales.

Tulisan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perkembangan korupsi yang terepresentasikan dalam novel Indonesia. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori sosiologi, kajian budaya, jaringan, dan pascakolonial. Sumber datanya adalah novel Korupsi (1954) karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Senja di Jakarta (1970) karya Mochtar Lubis, Ladang Perminus (1990) karya Ramadhan K.H., Orang-Orang Proyek (2002) karya Ahmad Tohari, dan Memburu Koruptor (2009) karya Urip Sutomo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sesuai dengan latar waktu dalam novel, waktu penyelesaian, serta waktu diterbitkan, perkembangan korupsi dalam novel Indonesia dapat dirumuskan dengan periode tahun: 1945-1954, 1954-1957, 1966-1976/1982, 1991-1992/2001, 1998-2009. Korupsi dalam teks novel Indonesia berkembang semakin luas baik dari segi pelaku, penyebab, modus, maupun sifatnya.
Abstract:
This paper is aimed at describing the development of corruption in Indonesian novels. This paper uses theories of sociology, cultural studies, network, and postcolonial. The sources of data are Korupsi (1954) by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, Senja di Jakarta (1970) by Mochtar Lubis, Ladang Perminus (1990) by Ramadhan K.H., OrangOrang Proyek (2002) by Ahmad Tohari, and Memburu Koruptor (2009) by Urip Sutomo. The result of the research shows that in accordance with the background of the time in the novels, completion time, and publication time, the development of corruption in Indonesian novels can be formulated by the way of periods of years:
1945-1954, 1954-1957, 1966-1976/1982, 1991-1992/2001, 1998-2009. Corruption in the texts of Indonesian novels has developed widely in terms of actors, causes, modes, and nature.

7 Ocak 1946 tarihinde kurulan ve 29 Eylül 1960 tarihinde mahkeme kararı ile kapatılan Demokrat Parti, kuruluşundan yıkılışına kadar ki dönem içerisinde yapılan genel seçimlerin en temel aktörlerinden biri olmuştur. Kuruluşundan itibaren tabanda halkın büyük desteğini alan ve her geçen gün de güçlenerek büyüyen DP, bu gelişimini 1950 seçimleri ile taçlandırmayı başarmış ve iktidar olmuştur. Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi ise DP’nin her geçen gün güçlenmesine karşı önce Belediye seçimlerini ve ardından da genel seçimleri öne alarak DP’yi seçimlerde hazırlıksız yakalamak istemiş bunun dışında da kendi parti tüzük ve programında önemli demokratik değişimler yaparak DP’nin bu demokrasi yükselişini engelleme çalışmıştır. DP’nin CHP ile karşılaştığı ilk genel seçim ise 21 Temmuz 1946 tarihinde yapılan Milletvekilleri genel seçimi olmuştur. Söz konusu bu seçimde her ne kadar CHP galip gelmiş olsa da DP, seçim günü usulsüzlük yapıldığını iddia etmiş ve bu seçimlere itiraz ederek CHP’ye karşı halkın desteğini arkasına almayı başarmıştır. 14 Mayıs 1950 tarihinde yapılan genel seçimler ise DP’nin kazandığı ilk genel seçim olmuştur. DP, 1954 ve 1957 genel seçimlerinde ise bu başarısını tescillemiştir. Çalışmanın konusunu DP’nin iktidarda olduğu 1950-1954 ve 1957 genel seçimlerinin Niğde ilindeki süreçleri, yansımaları ve neticeleri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın temel kaynağını Cumhurbaşkanlığı Devlet Arşivleri belgeleri, yerel basından Resmi Niğde Gazetesi’nin 1950-1960 yılları arasında yayımlanan haberleri, TÜİK Verileri ile YSK Seçim Sonuçları oluşturmuştur. Yugoslav-Greek relations from the end of WWII to the breakup of Yugoslavia and went through several phases. A short period of interlude when the diplomatic relations were re-established 1945/1946 was followed by a much longer one (1946-1950) of conflict due to the Yugoslav support to the Communists in the Greek Civil War. A pragmatic approach to the issue of both parties resulted in a prolonged period (1950-1967) of working relations that culminated in the signing of tripartite treaties with Turkey, Treaty of Ankara (1953) and Bled Agreements (1954). Even though the treaties lost most of their importance after the reconciliation between Belgrade and Moscow in 1955/1956, and the Cyprus crisis, they created a climate of correct relations between two neighbouring states marked by reciprocal visits on the highest level. The coup d??tat of April 1967 brought to power a dictatorship in Greece (1967-1974) and thus inaugurated a new period of tensions in bilateral relations. The last period 1974-1990 was characterized by good working relations between Belgrade and Athens mainly due to the Greece?s efforts to integrate the European Economic Community (EEC) that supposed good relations with its neighbours. The issue of relations of Athens with Socialist Republic of Macedonia, first as a part of Socialst Yugoslavia, and then, after the collapse of the Federation, as the independent country, proved to be the last problem for Yugoslavia and a lasting one for the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, as it used to be known after 1990.

Purpose: To assess toxic pneumosclerosis caused by inhalation intake of plutonium aerosols in a patient who worked in contact with plutonium at the Mayak Production Association from 1948–1954. Material and methods: Patient Sh., born in 1924, higher education, at the age of 24, began working as a chemical engineer at MPO Mayak from 1948 to 1954 under conditions of increased occupational hazard of ionizing radiation (exposure to gamma rays and ingestion of plutonium aerosols). During her work, she received 389, 624 R: (1950 ‒ 83, 57; 1951 ‒ 187, 29; 1952 ‒ 70, 24; 1953 ‒ 48, 14). Carrying plutonium. Results: А clinical description of toxic pneumosclerosis of a severe degree of a progressive course, caused by the intake of mainly transportable plutonium aerosols against the background of a combined effect of external relatively uniform gamma radiation, is given. The carriage of plutonium and its removal from the body were established and confirmed. For diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, the patient underwent pentacin inhalations in 2 stages for 3 days. The excretion of plutonium-239 in the urine increased to a maximum of 940 units / min ‒ 1150 units / min (06.04.1957‒06.06.1957) and 464 units / min (06.14.1957), in feces ‒ 308 units / min ‒ 252 units / min (06.07.1957‒ 06.11.1957) and 236 units / min (18.06.1957). The assessment of the amount and alpha activity of the received in the lungs, liver, bones, and other organs was carried out according to the biophysical study of the organs of the corpse of the patient Sh. Conclusion: The clinical picture of the patient was determined by toxic plutonium pneumosclerosis of a severe degree of progressive course as a consequence of chronic exposure to plutonium. Hypoxia (hypoxemic and tissue). Pulmonary heart. Focal pneumonia. Upex lungs. Violation of the vasomotor and respiratory centers. Moderate oppression of hematopoiesis and asthenic syndrome as a consequence of chronic radiation sickness II degree. The disease progressed with damage to the main critical organs (lungs, liver, bones). The patient died from heart failure, which developed as a result of pneumosclerosis with symptoms of asphyxia.

An ongoing study of the ambrosia beetle tribe Xyleborini has resulted in numerous taxonomic changes mostly representing new generic/species combinations which remove species from the once all-encompassing Xyleborus Eichhoff, 1864 to other genera based on revised taxonomic concepts. These changes are here listed. Terminalinus Hopkins, 1915 is removed from synonymy with Cyclorhipidion Hagedorn, 1912 and reinstated as a valid genus. Five species are removed from synonymy and reinstated as valid species: Amasa brevipennis (Schedl, 1971), Amasa fulgens (Schedl, 1975), Ambrosiophilus immitatrix (Schedl, 1975), Ambrosiophilus semirufus (Schedl, 1959), Microperus leprosulus (Schedl, 1936). O presente artigo pretende refletir acerca das contribuições de Heidegger para a noção de pensamento meditativo. A diferença entre o pensamento que medita e o pensamento calculador (das rechnende Denken) é trabalhada por Heidegger em alguns de seus textos, dos quais se destacam os diálogos-texto “Para a discussã o da serenidade: de uma conversa sobre o pensamento que teve lugar num caminho de campo” (1944-1945) e “De uma conversa sobre a linguagem entre um japonês e um pensador” (1953-1954) e o texto “Serenidade” de 1955. A partir desses textos, pretende-se destacar a presença de um interesse do pensamento oriental (Escola de Kyoto) pela filosofia de Heidegger, no que diz respeito a abertura heideggeriana para um outro caminho de pensamento. O interesse de Heidegger pelo pensamento oriental que é, de um modo especial, um outro caminho de pensamento, também pode ser visualizado nos textos que serão trabalhados. Os esboços de um “outro caminho” que também pode ser chamado de “outro pensamento” auxilia em liberar para o recomeço de uma relação com o ser.

Ugotovil sem, da je najbolj znana planinska fotografija Rosalind Franklin nastala v Julijskih Alpah verjetno leta 1952 in ne na Norveškem konec 30-tih let, kot je veljalo doslej. Na Triglav pa se je vzpela julija 1954 ali septembra 1955 in ne leta 1952, kot piše v njeni biografiji.

Метою статті є дослідження та аналіз подій довкола реабілітації колишнього заступника голови ради народних комісарів УРСР в 1930–1937 рр. та генпрокурора в 1927–1930 рр. Василя Івановича Порайка (1888–1937) і його дружини, екс-редактора відділу дошкільної літератури у виданні «Радянська школа» (м. Київ) Надії Дмитрівни Порайко-Морозової (1891–?). Методи дослідження. Використання методів джерелознавчого аналізу сприяло систематизації первинної інформації (кримінальні справи на В.І. Порайка, Н.Д. Морозову-Порайко, А.А. Хвилю, агентурна справа на П.П. Любченка та інші архівні документи), а використання історико-системного методу дозволило дослідити основні юридичні процедури довкола посмертної реабілітації В.І. Порайка в 1954–1957 рр. та узагальнити отримані відомості. Наукова новизна. Проаналізовано наслідки арешту та фізичної ліквідації В.І. Порайка в 1937 р. для його сім’ї в м. Києві в 1937–1939 рр. та для родини в Галичині в 1945–1946 рр. Для якісного проведення дослідження були введені в наукових обіг раніше не опубліковані архівні документи із фондів ГДА СБУ, ГАМО, архіву УСБУ в Івано-Франківській області, ЦДАГОУ та інших архівних відомств України та Російської Федерації. Висновки. Процес реабілітації В.І. Порайка (1888–1937), якого безпідставно засудили 24 жовтня 1937 р. в ході сфабрикованої справи проти українських радянських вищих партійних діячів, тривав з 1 листопада 1954 р. по 26 березня 1957 р. Його ініціатором виступила дружина Порайка – Надія Дмитрівна Морозова (Морозова-Порайко), яка також була засуджена як член сім’ї зрадника Батьківщини та відбувала покарання в 1937–1945 рр. в одному із трудових таборів на Колимі. Вимагаючи справедливості ще з 1939 р., вона змогла домогтися бажаного лише в 1957 р. Основною умовою, за якої став можливим процес реабілітації репресованих у сталінських період осіб, була так звана «хрущовська відлига» (1953–1964) – зміна влади в СРСР після смерті Сталіна, викриття культу особи та деяке пом’якшення радянського режиму.

The ‘revolution’ from 1944 to 1954 prompted important changes in rural communities in Guatemala. The extension of many government services to rural areas for the first time, the involvement of political parties in village politics, and the growth of a rural labour federation all altered the political, economic, and social organization of rural Guatemala irrevocably. Changes became even more dramatic and more significant after 1950 with the growth of a national peasant league and the passage of a comprehensive agrarian reform law in 1952. Despite its importance, the changes that came to rural Guatemala with the revolution are not well understood and the shape of the‘revolution in the countryside’continues to be debated.

In 1938, he graduated from the Tatar Opera Studio at the Moscow Conservatory. From 1939– 1943, he studied at the Moscow Conservatory. In 1953, he graduated from the Ural Conservatory. In 1943–1956 and 1960–1964, heworked as a soloist and director of the Sverdlovsk Opera and Ballet Theater. In 1965–1975, Dautov N. was the chief director of the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theater. In 1956–1960 and from 1975 to 1986, he worked as a soloist and the chief director of the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theater. Labudovo okno locality (50 m-84 m elevation) is situated in the south-eastern part of the edge of the Pannonian Plains, resting along the left bank of the Danube between 1982 km and 1078 km. The investigated locality is the result of rise of the Danube level after dam building of the hydroelectric power station Djerdap I. The vegetation comprises aquatic associations of the classes Hydrochari-Lemnetea Oberd. 1967 and Potametea Tx. et Prsg. 1942. The class Hydrochari-Lemnetea Oberd. 1967 includes the following phytocoenoses: Lemno-Spirodeletum W. Koch 1954, Salvinio-Spirodeletum polyrrhizae Slavnic 1956, Lemno minoris-Azolletum filiculoides Br.-Bl. 1952, Ceratophylletum demersi (So? 27) Hild 1956. The class Potametea Tx. et Prsg. 1942 includes the associations Myriophyllo-Potametum So? 1934, Nympaeetum albo-luteae Nowinski 1928, Trapetum natantis M?lleret G?rs 1960.

Os estudos reunidos na seção “Sociedades científicas” procuram abordar, de forma inovadora, aspectos ainda não tão explorados a respeito do período em que Getúlio Vargas foi presidente do Brasil. Sem dúvida, os governos provisório (1930-1934), constitucional (1934-1937), ditatorial (1937-1945) e democrático (1951-1954) proporcionaram transformações políticas, culturais, sociais e econômicas substanciais na história do país. Os artigos que compõem essa seção foram escritos por pesquisadores e pesquisadoras do grupo de pesquisa “Dimensões do Regime Vargas e seus desdobramentos”, filiado à Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) e criado em 2012 pelo Prof. Dr. Orlando de Barros. O grupo agrega estudiosos do governo Vargas de universidades de todas as regiões e estados do Brasil, publicando livros e artigos e organizando eventos e simpósios temáticos.

The British architect John Voelcker (1927–72) was a founding member of the small international, avantgarde group, Team 10 (1953–81), an outgrowth of the Congrès Internationaux d'Architecture Moderne (CIAM). Voelcker was one of six authors of the document, ‘Doorn Manifesto’, a ‘Statement on Habitat’ that emphasised ‘vital human associations’. The Manifesto appeared in 1954, one year after Voelcker exhibited the ‘Zone’, his Architectural Association senior thesis and one of the first acknowledged Team 10 efforts, in Aix-en-Provence at the ninth CIAM meeting (1953). The Zone (on which he collaborated with Pat Crooke and Andrew Derbyshire between 1951 and 1952), as well as a north London dwelling that he designed for Humphrey Lyttelton (1957–58), and his contribution to agricultural vernacular building projects in Kent, are prototypical examples of Team 10's work. Voelcker's distance from the large-scale, analytical rationalism of CIAM and his interest in a socialminded vernacular aligned him with Team 10. Voelcker eventually published three articles on Team 10: the most notable one in Arena (1965), as well as another in Architects' Year Book (1957) and a third in Carré bleu (February 1960). These situate him plausibly as a historian of the group. In one of these essays Voelcker advocates an ‘open aesthetic’ that is not clearly defined, but that implicitly calls on architects to avoid imposing pre-ordained symbols and to include references to the past in their designs without, however, being rigidly imitative, as was the case, he argues, with the deleterious medieval features of Milan's Torre Velasca (1957) designed by BBPR.

The article is to highlight the little-known pages in the history of the Russian State Historical Archive, one of the largest archives in Russia. Its story is an integral part of the history of archiving in Russia. The article is to show the role of an individual in the history of Russian archiving in a case-study of the activities of one of its most effective managers. His life is largely characteristic of the generation of archival leaders of the 1940s–60s, while his personal characteristics are unique. The article is based on genuine archival materials preserved in the so-called “Archive of the archive” and also on the memoirs of his contemporaries. It is devoted to the biography of Vasily Vasilyevich Bedin, the longtime head of the Central State Historical Archive in Leningrad (now the Russian State Historical Archive). V. V. Bedin was appointed head of the archive at a difficult time. During the war and in the siege of Leningrad, the archive was headed by temporary leaders who replaced one another and did not always cope well with the responsibilities assigned to them. V. V. Bedin became the fifth head of the archive since 1941. Descent from the Novgorod gubernia peasants, a Red Army soldier during the Civil War, a political instructor, he became a party functionary, studied at the Institute of Red Professors. In 1937, he was appointed head of the Propaganda and Agitation Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (Bolsheviks) of Belarus, and in 1939 became director of the Leningrad branch of the Museum of V. I. Lenin. On December 22, 1945, he was appointed head of the Central State Historical Archive in Leningrad. In this position, he did a lot to eliminate the consequences of the war and to put the archive in order; he strove to improve the situation of the archive’s staff. In a difficult political environment of the late 1940s - early 1950s he showed high integrity and much decency. This was the reason for his dismissal in 1952. But with the beginning of the “thaw,” V. V. Bedin was re-appointed head of the archive on July 3, 1954. Under his leadership, the archive became a truly scientific institution. V. V. Bedin created a businesslike atmosphere in the archive, allowing its staff of to show initiative and boldly discuss the fundamental issues of the archival administration development. He did a lot to improve the storage of archival documents. V. V. Bedin initiated the archive’s transition to a more functional structure. He remained in the memory of the Leningrad archivists as an effective and principled, demanding and caring leader.
