Compounds of the form R<sub>2</sub>Sn(dmit) (H<sub>2</sub>dmit = dimercaptoisotrithione) (R = Me, Et, Bu, Oct, Ph, <I>o</I>-MeOC<sub>6</sub>H<sub>4</sub>. MeO<sub>2</sub>CCH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub> and Pr<sup>i</sup>O<sub>2</sub>CCH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>) and RR'Sn(dmit) (R = Ph, R' = Me) were synthesised and characterised. Five of the compounds were further investigated using solid state <sup>13</sup>C and <sup>119</sup>Sn nmr and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Various bis-dmio and -dmit zincate complexes, [Q]<SUB>2</SUB>[Zn(dmio)<SUB>2</SUB>] [Q = NEt<SUB>4</SUB>, 1,4-dmp, Ph<SUB>4</SUB>P and FcCH<SUB>2</SUB>NMe<SUB>3</SUB>] and [Q]<SUB>2</SUB>[Zn(dmit)<SUB>2</SUB>] [Q = FcCH<SUB>2</SUB>NMe<SUB>3</SUB>], have been prepared and characterised by IR, <SUP>1</SUP>H and <SUP>13</SUP>C-NMR spectral and elemental analysis data. The solid state structure of [FcCH<SUB>2</SUB>NMe<SUB>3</SUB>]<SUB>2</SUB>[Zn(dmio)<SUB>2</SUB>] was determined by X-ray crystallography. Neutral diorganotin compounds of the 1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate ligand have been prepared. The syntheses of Me<sub>2</sub>Sndmit, Et<sub>2</sub>Sndmit, Bu<sub>2</sub>Sndmit, (C<sub>8</sub>H<sub>17</sub>)<sub>2</sub>Sndmit, (C<sub>10</sub>H<sub>21</sub>)<sub>2</sub>Sndmit and (C<sub>14</sub>H<sub>29</sub>)<sub>2</sub>Sndmit are described. La réduction sélective du 4-methyloxycarbonyl-2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole permet d'accéder à volonté soit à l'aldéhyde soit à l'alcool correspondant. De cet alcool on peut passer au sel de phosphonium dérivé qui, via des réactions de Wittig, peut conduire à de nouveaux analogues de TTF à grande extension spatiale avec de bons rendements. Divers dérivés fluorés en série TTF, symétriques et dissymétriques, dans lesquels le noyau TTF est substitué par un ou plusieurs groupements -ch#2f ou -s-(ch#2)#2-c#nf#2#n#+#1 (n = 6, 8), ont été synthétisés par couplage de dithiol-(thi)ones convenablement choisies.
