Abstract:
El presente trabajo realiza un análisis estratégico para Toyota en USA, abarcando los siguientes aspectos: (i) Los antecedentes de la compañía, la descripción del negocio, el alcance geográfico, la visión, la misión y los valores corporativos; (ii) La evaluación externa del macroentorno, el nivel de atracción y el ciclo de vida de la industria, así como el perfil competitivo y (iii) La descripción y el análisis de la cadena de valor, los recursos y capacidades y la posición financiera. La principal conclusión obtenida en este sentido es la gran capacidad de Toyota en USA de aprovechar las oportunidades y combatir las amenazas del entorno, gracias a su sólida posición financiera y su liderazgo en el mercado. A partir de ello, se establecen los objetivos para Toyota en USA en términos de rentabilidad, crecimiento y supervivencia. Seguidamente se elabora una serie de herramientas de generación de estrategias, tales como la Matriz FODA, la Matriz PEYEA, la Matriz BCG, la Matriz interna-externa y la Matriz de la gran estrategia. Asimismo se elabora la matriz de alineamiento estratégico que nos permite seleccionar las estrategias competitivas y de negocios que serán implementadas. Finalmente, se definen la estrategia competitiva y la de negocio.

Abstract:
<p> How do social media contribute to groups engaged in contentious politics within a domestic environment? While many have examined the influence of social media on the Arab revolutions of 2010-2011 from an international perspective, there are fewer studies examining the impact of social media within a national environment after these events. Through interviews with a group of 40 Tunisians, many of them active in contentious politics from 2010-2013, this research identifies what sources initially informed the group members of a movement as well as the sources that ultimately pushed them to become active. While information gleaned via social media certainly played a role in the decisions of many interviewees to join the movements examined in this research - unsurprising, given the high rates of internet use within the group - social media were often cited as less trustworthy than other sources and were more likely to inform the respondents of a movement's existence than to push them to act. While these findings are not unexpected, they do require that future efforts examining the role of social media in contentious politics within a country's borders differentiate how different types of sources are viewed by potential supporters and how they might contribute to mobilization in different ways. </p>

Abstract:
It could be argued that theories about gender are something that should be a part of every upper secondary school teachers agenda (knowledge base), because the Swedish curriculum specifically says that schools must encourage and work for equal rights between men and women.The students are supposed tobe encouraged to develop their interest, without judgment, about what femininity and masculinity is. This essay is aiming to find out how gender is used in the teacher program at Södertörns Högskola. The main focus of the essay is to see the possible differences between the curriculum of 2010 and 2013. Using quantitative and qualitative content analysis this essay is aiming to examine how gender words are used in the syllabus, study manuals and literature lists for Educational science A (2010) and Educational science I (2013). In what way are gendered terms, like boy, girl heterosexuality and man, part of the text material? Who is represented in the material? And are there any differences between 2010 and 2013? The results show that there is a difference. In the earlier education more gender words are used than in the later. When gender words are explicit in the texts is it easier to work with, the texts has the power to judge what´s included and excluded in the program. When gender words are in ordered in bigger terms, like Interkulturalitet, is it easier to forget to discuss gender.

In this way, we begin from the problem that is the access democratization and stay through the years of 2007 to 2013. Therefore, we infer that we have to verify the FUNDEB distribution at a government level; both state and counties in Goiás. Following this path, the discussion proposed presents itself divided into two parts: a) at a first moment, the goal is to know the historical funding process of Basic and Special education, which pervades by the right principle present in the Federal Constitution. That is a reason why, it is indispensable to characterize the formulation process of FUNDEB, trying to understand the debate about the Basic Education funding policies reformulation that occurred because of that fund; b) Secondly, we will analyze educational and financial data to evaluate the impacts on enrollment in the fund’s special education in the state of Goiás and its counties. Methodologically, this research is based on the quantitative/qualitative analysis, including documental and bibliographic research. Altogether, it is indicated that the funding policies enabled the access to special education , intensifying the municipalization of enrollments in the state of Goiás, mainly in the cities with bigger population, an effect of the resources received by the counties from FUNDEB. On the other hand, there were resource losses in in the smaller cities, due to the small number of enrollments. Therefore, it is ought a review in the financial distribution of FUNDEB and national education policies, and adopt a quality standard and collaboration regime between the states.<br>Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender o deslocamento de recursos via Fundo de Desenvolvimento do Ensino Básico e Valorização do Magistério (Fundeb) para a garantia do acesso e permanência do público alvo da Educação Especial do/no estado de Goiás entre os anos de 2010-2013. Este recorte temporal se justifica pelo fato de que foi este período que efetiva a totalização de impostos vinculados ao Fundeb, outrossim, à implantação da matrícula dupla-vis (homologada pelo Parecer nº 13 do Conselho Nacional da Educação (CNE) e Câmara da Educação Básica(CEB)/2009, que regulamentou o Decreto nº 6.571/2008 e a Resolução CNE/CEB nº 4/2009), que definiu o Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) em turno contrário ao da escolarização, como forma de garantir não apenas o acesso, mas a permanência do aluno na escola. Para alcançar o objetivo central desta pesquisa, torna-se necessário: analisar o processo de deslocamento de recursos via Fundeb e sua contribuição para o aumento do número de matrículas na Educação Especial em Goiás; observar se houve um processo de municipalização da Educação Especial no Estado; verificar se ocorreu um aumento do número de matrículas nas salas de Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE) e se, nesse processo, aconteceu também o aumento da privatização da Educação Especial em Goiás. Metodologicamente, esta pesquisa se pauta na análise qualitativa/quantitativa, englobando revisão bibliográfica e pesquisa documental. De modo geral, indica-se que a política de fundos possibilitou o acesso à Educação Especial, intensificando o processo de municipalização das matrículas no estado de Goiás, efeito dos recursos recebidos pelos municípios na cesta do Fundeb. Verificou-se, ainda o aumento de matriculas no ensino fundamental (anos finais) e ensino médio, evidenciando a permanecia do público alvo da educação especial no ensino básico. Assim, entende-se que se faz necessária a revisão/transparência em ralação as etapas e modalidades da distribuição financeira do Fundeb e da política educacional do país para a adoção de padrão de equidade na colaboração entre os entes federados.

Abstract:
Denna undersökning behandlar skolämnet Idrott och hälsa i motioner genom en diskursanalys, för att undersöka mönster i hur politiker skriver om och behandlar skolämnet. Syftet är att undersöka vilka diskurser i skolämnet Idrott och hälsa som konstitueras i motioner från Sveriges riksdag. Våra frågeställningar är: “Vilka diskurser kan identifieras i motioner från Sveriges riksdag som behandlar skolämnet Idrott och hälsa?” samt “Vilka synsätt på skolämnet Idrott och hälsa kommer till uttryck i diskurserna?”. För att svara på dessa frågor har vi gjort en diskursanalys. Vårt material är begränsat till en tidsperiod på de senaste fyra åren för att få en aktuell bild av hur Idrott och hälsa omskrivs. Arbetet är uppdelat i två delar, den ena behandlar hur det fysiologiska perspektivet konstitueras i Idrott och hälsa och den andra behandlar hur samhällsperspektivet konstitueras i Idrott och hälsa. De diskurser vi sett formas inom det fysiologiska perspektivet är: patogen, fetma/övervikt samt sjukdom. Beträffande samhällsperspektivet har vi identifierat diskurserna: teknik, klass, betyg samt ökad tid. Slutsatserna vi kan dra av vår undersökning är att det finns tydliga mönster och därmed diskurser som ligger till grund för hur politiker skriver om Idrott och hälsa.

Im ersten Themenkomplex werden zunächst die vielfältigen Interaktionstechnologien und -möglichkeiten ubiquitärer Systeme vorgestellt. Dies umfasst unter anderem Beiträge zu multimodaler Interaktion, Augmented Reality, RFID und ubiquitären Lernumgebungen. A Organização Mundial da Saúde estima que epidemias anuais resultem em cerca de 3 a 5 milhões de casos de doença grave e de 250 mil a 500 mil mortes em todo o mundo. Eram os objetivos específicos: descrever a estrutura sanitária brasileira frente a episódios pandêmicos de influenza; descrever a implantação e estruturação da vigilância de influenza no Brasil; discutir princípios éticos na vigilância de influenza; descrever os dados e a qualidade do seu registro nos bancos de dados do sistema de vigilância epidemiológica da influenza; descrever os atributos do sistema de vigilância epidemiológica de influenza. Foi realizada revisão de literatura e, para avaliar os atributos qualitativos, quantitativos, utilidade do sistema e desempenho da definição de caso foi utilizada a metodologia do Updated Guidelines for Evaluating Public Health Systems do Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). A população de estudo correspondeu aos casos registrados de síndrome gripal no Sistema de Informação Epidemiológica da Gripe (Sivep-Gripe), de 2010 a 2013, com base de dados secundários, não nominais. O sistema de vigilância deve ser melhorado em relação à qualidade dos dados, clareza metodológica e completitude. Foi considerado parcialmente útil, simples, de fácil entendimento, oportuno e flexível. No entanto, possui baixa aceitabilidade, baixo valor preditivo positivo e representatividade insatisfatória. O estudo demonstrou que há necessidade de reflexão ética sobre as práticas em vigilância em saúde, observando a interdependência entre vigilância e pesquisa em saúde. É evidenciada a importância da vigilância da influenza de avaliações constantes, para identificar e corrigir problemas e melhorar o desempenho do sistema de vigilância, num processo contínuo de aperfeiçoamento.<br>Influenza is a highly transmissible viral respiratory infection with significant impact on world population. The World Health Organization estimates that current epidemics result in approximately 3 to 5 million cases of severe illness and 250 thousand to 500 thousand deaths worldwide. The overall objective of the study was to evaluate the epidemiological surveillance system of influenza in Brazil. The specific objectives were: to describe the Brazilian health structure against the pandemic episodes of influenza; to describe the implementation and structuring of influenza surveillance in Brazil; to discuss ethical principles in influenza surveillance; to describe the data and the quality of the records in the databases of the influenza epidemiological surveillance system; to describe the attributes of the influenza epidemiological surveillance system. Literature review was performed and in order to assess the qualitative and quantitative attributes, the system usefulness and the performance of the case definition the methodology used was based on the Updated Guidelines for Evaluating Public Health of Systems Centers of the Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The population of the study corresponded to recorded cases of flu-like illness in Brazil’s Influenza Epidemiological Information System (Sivep-Gripe), from 2010 to 2013, with secondary databases and without patient names. The surveillance system should be improved in relation to data quality, methodological clarity and completeness. It was considered partially useful, simple, of easy comprehension, timely and flexible. However, it has low acceptability, low positive predictive value and unsatisfactory representation. The study demonstrated that there is a need for ethical reflection on health surveillance practices, noting the interdependence between surveillance and health research. It is evidenced the importance of influenza surveillance and that ongoing assessments should be conducted to identify and correct problems and to improve the performance of the surveillance system in a continuous process of improvement.

Uma das questões mais abordadas academicamente diz respeito à importância simbólica do futebol para promover e reforçar sentimentos de pertença e de união entre os membros de uma nação. Nesta perspectiva, a dissertação analisa o caso do Uruguai, onde o futebol tem historicamente se estabelecido como um elemento central para expressar a identidade nacional. O objetivo geral da dissertação é, portanto, analisar as possibilidades de expressão e reprodução da identidade nacional uruguaia, através da contribuição específica dos elementos mobilizados pela imprensa esportiva uruguaia e pelos organismos reguladores (FIFA e CONMEBOL), sobre o desempenho da seleção uruguaia de futebol entre os anos de 2010 e 2013. Para tal, os objetivos específicos concentraram-se em: a) contextualizar historicamente a importância do futebol na expressão e reprodução das autoimagens identitárias uruguaias; b) descrever os discursos transmitidos pela imprensa esportiva uruguaia e os organismos reguladores sobre o desempenho da seleção uruguaia no período 2010-2013, apontando as possíveis continuidades e rupturas em relação às representações coletivas tradicionais; e c) identificar os processos de construção discursiva de heróis esportivos neste período. Para atingir estes objetivos, desenvolveu-se um quadro teórico baseado em três conceitos chaves: Identidade Nacional, Representações Coletivas e Construção midiática de heróis esportivos. Adotou-se uma metodologia de corte qualitativo, tendo como principal técnica de pesquisa empregada a análise de conteúdo e tomando como fontes as matérias da imprensa nacional e os organismos reguladores dentro do período de estudo. A dissertação identifica nos discursos internos e externos do período analisado, instâncias de ressurgimento, consolidação e rupturas nas quais se mobilizam aspetos identitários. Também foi possível perceber os mecanismos de construção dos heróis esportivos e as instâncias de vilanização desses heróis. Conclui-se apontando quais são e como foram atualizadas as representações coletivas tradicionais, quais delas perderam centralidade e quais elementos identitários aparecem como inéditos na autoimagem nacional, sendo específicos do período de estudo. In this regard, one of the most discussed aspects concerns the symbolic importance of football to promote and reinforce feelings of belonging and unity among the members of a nation. Within this view, the dissertation analyzes the case of Uruguay. Being a country where football has historically been established as a central element for expressing national identity. The general objective of the dissertation is to analyze the possibilities of expression and reproduction of Uruguayan national identity through the specific contribution of the elements mobilized by Uruguayan sports press and governing bodies (FIFA and CONMEBOL) on the performance of the Uruguayan national football team between the years 2010- 2013, being specific objectives a) historically situate the importance of football for the expression and reproduction of Uruguayan identity. b) Describe the discourses passed by Uruguayan sports press and governing bodies on the performance of the Uruguayan national team between 2010-2013, pointing out possible lines of continuities and ruptures with traditional collective representations and c) Identify the discursive construction processes of sports heroes during this period. To achieve these objectives it is developed a theoretical framework based on three key concepts: National Identity, Collective Representations and media construction of sports heroes, while it is adopted a qualitative methodology being content analysis the main technique used and taking as data sources the pieces of news from national press and governing bodies within the period of study. The dissertation identifies within internal and external discourses instances of resurgence, consolidation and ruptures in which identity aspects are mobilized, identifying also the mechanisms of discursive construction of sports heroes and instances of vilification of these heroes. The work concludes pointing out which and how traditional collective representations have been updated, which have been abandoned and which specific identity elements appear as novelties in the national self-image for the period studied. Abstract:
15 failures of offshore mooring lines have occurred in the period 2010–2013 on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The failures are cause by a mixture of overload, fatigue and mechanical damages. Failure statistics from the period 2010–2013 are presented and compared it with earlier statistics. In the period 1996–2005 a high number of cases were observed. The industry reacted reasonably, and the number of incidents was clearly reduced for several years. In 2010 the number of cases started to increase again, rising questions on how to improve again. Some of the old failure modes have disappeared, as dragging of anchors and failures of chains above 20 years of age. But several other failure modes have appeared or reappeared. Differences between different types of units are found. The failure frequencies are highly uncertain, but the failure rate from 2010–2013 have been in the order of magnitude • single line failures: 92*10−4 per line year and • double line failures: 12*10−4 per line year. No triple line failures have occurred in 2010–2013, but using data from 2000–2013, the failure rate have been in the order of magnitude 2*10−4 per line year. The paper discusses possible changes in practice, regulations and standards, on quality of materials, maintenance, ALS-, FLS- and ULS-design.
