Mestrado em Marketing<br>Por todo o mundo assiste-se ao envelhecimento da população, e Portugal não é excepção. Conta neste momento com 1,9 milhões de idosos residentes no país que necessitam de cuidados especializados para as suas necessidades. Com o intuito de prestar este serviço, este trabalho apresenta um Plano de Marketing para o lançamento de uma clínica especializada em geriatria. O plano descreve as envolventes externas e internas da clínica, incluindo uma análise da concorrência e dos seus possíveis factores-chave de sucesso. Descreve também a segmentação, mercado-alvo e posicionamento, e ainda os objectivos de marketing e financeiros que se pretendem atingir nos dois primeiros anos de funcionamento. O marketing-mix encontra-se dividido em sete pontos: Serviço, Preço, Distribuição, Comunicação, Pessoas, Processo e Evidências Físicas. O ponto chave deste plano são os recursos humanos, pois são eles que irão prestar os serviços disponibilizados pela clínica, mas que também irão contribuir para a possibilidade de adequar os preços praticados ao poder económico do público-alvo<br>All over the world, the population is getting older, and Portugal is not an exception. Nowadays, there are 1.9 million inhabitants older than 65 years old that need specialized health care. In order to satisfy this need, this work presents a Marketing Plan for the creation of a clinic specialized in geriatrics. The plan describes the clinic's external and internal environment, including a competition analysis and key-factors for success. It also describes segmentation, targeting and positioning, and even marketing and financial objectives for the first two years of the clinic. In the marketing-mix there are seven topics: Service, Price, Placement, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence. The key-point of this plan is human resources. They are the ones that will provide the clinic services available to patients and also, the ones that will allow to adapt the prices to the current economic situation of the target population.

Abstract:
Objetivo: Estimar la frecuencia de depresión y ansiedad en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica terminal (ERCT) en hemodiálisis. Materiales y métodos: Estudio descriptivo transversal, con una población accesible de 319 pacientes con ERCT en hemodiálisis asegurados por Essalud. Se realizó un muestreo no aleatorizado teniendo en cuenta una proporción esperada para ansiedad de 52.3%, obteniendo un tamaño muestral de 175 pacientes. Se captó a los participantes antes de la sesión de hemodiálisis donde se utilizó una ficha de recolección de datos que incluyó variables demográficas y datos clínicos. Se aplicó la escala de valoración funcional de Karnofsky y las escalas de Zung para depresión y ansiedad. Resultados: La mediana de edad fue de 59 años (P25=51 años, P75= 67años). El 60% (105/175) fueron de sexo masculino. Se encontró una frecuencia de depresión de 62,3% (109/175); siendo leve en un 83,5% (91/109), moderada en 14,7% (16/109) y severa en 1,8% (2/109). La ansiedad estuvo presente en el 69,7% (122/175), siendo leve en 40,2% (49/122), moderada en 26,2% (32/122) y severa en 33,6% (41/122). Discusión: Se encontraron frecuencias de depresión y ansiedad superiores a las reportadas en la literatura. Es importante tener en cuenta estas patologías psiquiátricas en el manejo de los pacientes con ERCT.

Atliktas tyrimas „Natūraliųjų priemonių, naudotų Pakruojo rajone 2012 ‒ 2013 m., etnofarmacinis tyrimas“, kurio tikslas buvo surinkti ir susisteminti etnofarmacinę informaciją apie Pakruojo rajone gydymo tikslais naudojamas natūralios kilmės priemones. Tyrimo uždaviniai buvo surinkti informaciją apie Pakruojo rajone dažniausiai vartojamas natūralios kilmės priemones; susisteminti surinktą etnofarmacinę informaciją; nustatyti kokios ligos dažniausiai gydomos vaistiniais augalais; nustatyti dažniausiai vartojamus vaistinius augalus; palyginti duomenis apie dažniausiai cituotas šeimas, vaistinius augalus ir ligas su 2006 m. gautais duomenimis Telšių raj. Varnių apylinkėje. Buvo sudaryta anketa ir atliekamas interviu. Respondentai buvo atrenkami pagal amžių ir taikant „Sniego gniūžtės“ atrankos metodą. Apklausta 20 respondentų (2 vyrai ir 18 moterų), kurių amžiaus vidurkis 78,15. Nustatyta, kad dažniausiai gydomos yra kvėpavimo takų ligos (24 % visų citavimų skaičiaus), virškinamojo trakto sutrikimai ( 20 % visų gydomų ligų skaičiaus), nervų ir širdies ‒ kraujagyslių ligos ( po 9 % visų citavimų skaičiaus), žaizdos, nudegimai, įkandimai, kitos traumos ir uždegimai ( 8% visų ligų citavimų skaičiaus), odos ir reumatinės ligos (sudaro po 5% visų gydomų ligų). The aim was collect and organize ethno pharmaceutical information about natural remedies used for therapeutic purposes in Pakruojis area. Objectives of the study was collect information about natural remedies in Pakruojis area; systematized collected data; identify what kind of disease ussually treated with medicinal plants; find out the most popular medicinal plants; compare the most commonly cited family, medicinal plants and diseases with research in Telšiai region Varniai disrict on 2006. Firstly, was made a questionnaire and then conducted interviews. People were selected according age and using the „snowball“ sampling method. Interviewed 20 people ( 2 men and 18 women) with an average age of 78,15. It was found that the most commonly use are to treat the respiratory tract infection ( 24% of the total number of citations), gastrointestinal disorders ( 20% of all treated illnesses), nervous and cardiovascular disease ( both 9% of the total number of citations), wounds, burns, bites, other trauma and inflammation ( 8% of the total number of citations), skin and rheumatic diseases ( representing 5% of the treated disease). Focused on the qualitative analysis, this study uses as document analysis data collection technique that includes: the Internal Regulations of Semed- Maceió; the references for teacher professional development; and the continuing education projects of the pedagogical coordinators, in the 2012-2013 period, from the elementary school of the Municipal Public Education System of Maceió. The referred continuing education projects are related to what is described in the following: the documents; the theoretical-practical implementation process; and the impact of the coordinator s performance as a teacher developer, identifying both the limits and possibilities of the coordinator/developer work in fostering teacher development. The syllabi analysis of the teacher development projects of Semed-Maceió enabled us to infer that the absence of specific curriculum guidelines meeting the required profile to this professional contributes to the precariousness of performing the coordination function, mainly concerning the curriculum guidance of the pedagogical coordinator as a teacher developer, given he/she is not provided with theoretical-methodological subsidies which enable not only the construction of a macro view of the teacher development process, but the systematization of his/her action as well, with the development of a definition of teacher performance indicators who are in the process of continuing education. The theoretical framework of this study is based on Tardif & Garcia s concepts, contributing to establishing a dialogue between the research objectives and the synthesis of the analyzed documents. The findings may contribute to further reflection on the importance of the teacher developer education process as well as for re-dimensioning the teacher development elementary school project recommended by Semed-Maceió<br>Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar os projetos de formação continuada dos coordenadores pedagógicos da Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Maceió (Semed-Maceió). A investigação está centrada na abordagem qualitativa e utiliza como técnica de coleta de dados a análise documental que inclui o Regimento Interno da Semed-Maceió, os referenciais para formação de professores e os projetos de formação continuada dos coordenadores pedagógicos nos anos de 2012 e 2013, do Sistema Público Municipal de Educação de Maceió, na etapa do Ensino Fundamental. Os projetos de formação em pauta dizem respeito ao que está descrito nos documentos, no processo de implementação teórico-prática e no impacto da ação do coordenador enquanto formador, identificando os limites e as possibilidades do trabalho do coordenador/formador em articular (promover) a formação dos professores. Ao analisar os conteúdos programáticos dos projetos de formação da Semed-Maceió, é possível inferirmos que a ausência de parâmetros curriculares específicos que atendam ao perfil exigido a esse profissional contribua para a precariedade do exercício da função de coordenação, sobretudo quanto à orientação curricular do coordenador pedagógico enquanto formador, uma vez que não lhe são fornecidos subsídios teóricos metodológicos que possibilitem, não somente a construção de uma visão macro do processo formativo, mas também a sistematização de sua ação, com desdobramento de definição de indicadores de desempenho de professores em processo de formação permanente. O referencial teórico se alicerça nas ideias de Tardif e Garcia e contribuem para estabelecer o diálogo entre os objetivos do estudo e a síntese dos documentos analisados. Abstract:
Beta-hemolyyttiset streptokokit ovat gram-positiivisia kokkibakteereita, jotka kykenevät aiheuttamaan pinnallisia ja syviä infektioita. Tämä Oulun yliopiston lääketieteellisen tiedekunnan syventävien opintojen tutkielma selvitti retrospektiivisen poikittaistutkimuksen avulla beta-hemolyyttisten streptokokkibakteerien aiheuttamia invasiivisia infektioita Pohjois-Pohjanmaan sairaanhoitopiirin (PPSHP) alueella vuosina 2012–2013. Tuona aikana Oulun yliopistollisen sairaalan (OYS) mikrobiologian laboratoriossa todettiin 138 invasiivista beta-hemolyyttistä streptokokkilöydöstä. Näistä 102:sta oli merkintöjä OYS:n potilasasiakirjoissa, jotka kattavat OYS:n ja Oulaskankaan aluesairaalat. Tutkimuksen lopullisena aineistona oli siis 102 potilasta. On mahdollista, että 36 potilaan tietojen puute luo tutkimukseen valikoitumisharhan. Potilasasiakirjojen perusteella kerättiin tiedot potilaiden infektioiden aiheuttajista, altistavista tekijöistä, kliinisistä ilmentymistä, komplikaatioista ja hoidosta. Löydöksiä verrattiin etupäässä viimeaikaisiin pohjoismaisiin tutkimuksiin. Yksi tutkimuksen merkittävimmistä tuloksista oli C- ja G-ryhmän streptokokkien ilmaantuvuuden nousu. Tätä selittää väestön ikääntyminen, sillä bakteeria esiintyy erityisesti iäkkäillä ja perussairailla, mikä todettiin myös tässä tutkimuksessa. Ilmaantuvuuden laskemista sotki kuitenkin tutkimussairaaloiden ulkopuolella hoidettujen potilaiden tietojen puute. Infektioden kliiniset ilmentymät vastasivat aiempien tutkimusten tuloksia. Aiheuttajaryhmistä Str. pyogenesiä esiintyi ennen kaikkea nuorilla potilailla. Tälle ryhmälle tyypillistä oli voimakas immunivaste infektiolle, mutta myös nopea paraneminen. Str. pyogenes aiheutti muita ryhmiä enemmän pneumonioita. Str. agalactiaeta todettiin vastasyntyneillä ja elimistön immunivaste näille infektioille oli muita ryhmiä lievempi. C- ja G-ryhmän infektioille tyypillistä oli perussairauksien ja iäkkyyden lisäksi muita pitempi hoitoaika. Merkittävä löydös oli myös aiempiin tutkimuksiin verrattuna korkeampi tehohoidon tarve ja matalampi kuolleisuus, mikä todettiin kaikissa bakteeriryhmissä. Myös vakavia komplikaatioita kuten nekrotisoivaa faskiittia ja streptokokin aiheuttamaa toksista shokkioireyhtymää esiintyi odotettua vähemmän erityisesti Str. pyogenes-ryhmässä. Näitä löydöksiä selittää osin tutkimusasetelmaan liittynyt valikoitumisharha. Huomioitavaa on myös kansallisten hoitokäytäntöjen vastainen antibioottien käyttö tutkimuksen kohteena olleissa sairaaloissa. Vain 22,5 % potilaista sai suositusten mukaisesti G-penisilliiniä. Str. pyogenesin hoidossa suositeltua klindamysiiniä annettiin vain 58,3 %:ssa tapauksista. Hoitoaika oli kaikilla aiheuttajabakteereilla keskimäärin ohjeiden yläkanttiin. Tutkimus perusteella jää auki vielä paljon kysymyksiä invasiivisten beta-hemolyyttisten streptokokki-infektioiden epidemiologiasta ja hoidosta PPSHP:n alueella. Jatkossa tulisi pyrkiä laajentamaan potilasaineisto myös muihin alueen terveydenhuollon yksiköihin ja pidemmälle aikavälille.

The study of finance seeks to explore the possibilities, causes, and effects of money market trading. The objective of every financial analyst is to understand what moves the market and how one can benefit from its dynamics. There is little agreement between investors and analysts over which investment paradigms and modes of measurement and prediction are viable. The six financial viewpoints that will be discussed in this paper, though different in content, share one authentic theme: the value of experience. Although GenSpring (advocates of passive investment), Don Seeley (advocate of using financial statements to predict companies’ success in the market, and advocate of the importance of frequently overlooked financial information), Bob Kuberek (advocate of using performance attribution to measure value added by managers, and advocate of fixed income strategy analysis), and Peter Brimm (advocate of stockpicking strategies) may have different views as to what matters when investing, they all derive meaning from experience in the field, whether it’s using statistical analysis, historical analysis, or mathematical analysis.

Abstract:
Syftet med undersökningen är att analysera hur svensk dagspress framställer Fotografiska museets utställning Burning Beauty med fotografier av David LaChapelle genom hur konstkritikerna framställer konsten och konstnären som person. Undersökningsmaterialet består av artiklar, konst- och kulturtidskrifter, nättidskrifter och radioreportage i Sverige under eller inför utställningen. Jag har genom att närläsa artiklarna undersökt vilka ord och formuleringar som förekommer vid beskrivningen av utställningen, konstnären och konsten. Konstkritikerna framställer utställningen som välgjord och ett unikt tillfälle att få se en konstnärskarriär under ett och samma tak då den innehåller över 250 bilder från 1980-talet fram till 2012. Det är den största utställningen som Fotografiska museet visat och den största utställningen som LaChapelle haft. Den liknas vid en neonlysande regnbåge som följer väggarna på Fotografiska. LaChapelles bilder är ofta fyllda med budskap och detaljer och då Fotografiska visar bilderna i enorma format framgår dessa tydligare menar man. Vad gäller konsten så framställs den som pastischer på kända verk ifrån renässansen och barocken. Kritikerna menar att kända konstnärer som Michelangelo och Botticelli har inspirerat LaChapelles konst. Jag har kommit fram till att kritikerna delvis oreflekterat recenserar bilder från två helt olika typer av produktion utan att särskilja dem. De två olika produktionerna är de kommersiella bilderna innan 2006 och de civilisationskritiska bilderna efter 2006. Han slutade då att ta kommersiella uppdrag vilket har resulterat i en mer civilisationskritisk konst med konstnärlig frihet som följd. Vissa kritiker skildrar hela vidden av konstnärskarriären medan vissa kritiserar de tidigare verken. Den civilisationskritiska konsten har möjliggjort en plats på gallerierna för LaChapelle. Kritikerna är skeptiska inför den civilisationskritiska konstnären och ifrågasätter att han skulle ha ett genuint engagemang i de frågor som LaChapelle lyfter. Han lyfter ämnen som konsumtion, människohandel och religion. Kritikerna anser att han har för stor del av konsumtionskulturen genom sina kommersiella bilder för att kunna kritisera konsumtionskulturen på ett trovärdigt sätt. Genom att studera uppkomsten av vissa kändisporträtt framgår det tydligt att LaChapelle fortfarande 2012 tar kommersiella uppdrag. Skillnaden är friheten i att kunna välja de jobb han vill ha. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to examine how the identity of the public librarianwith regard to reading is manifested in the library field. The approaches thatare taken to reading and readers are examined as well as the consequencesdifferent approaches might have. The empirical material is based on 93articles published in Swedish library journals. The theoretical andmethodological starting point is discourse analysis. The application ofdiscourse analysis according to Michel Foucault’s hypotheses reveals threediscursive formations regarding the professional identity of public librarianswithin the framework of reading promotion: The public librarian asguarantor of democracy is related to the public library&apos;s original mission offostering, cultivating and educating citizens. The librarian is expected tomake “proper literature” available to the general public. The public librarianas personal trainer highlights a trend in the library field of equating readingwith sports where the librarians are expected to win non-readers by recruitingpotential readers through sporting activities. The librarian is described as apeppery and spirited coach with the task of making readers out of nonreaders.The public librarian as caregiver of the soul emphasizes the librarianas an empathetic and caring supervisor with therapeutic expertise. The twoformer formations emphasize masculine reading. The relation between thelibrarian and the reader can be considered in terms of power. The librarianrepresents an institutionalized controlling power. The reader emerges aspassive and becomes an object of the librarian&apos;s mission, good will andexpertise and whose job it is to labour for the well-being of both theindividual and society in general. Through discourse analysis according toErnesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe it is made visible that thereis a strong emphasis on a narrow understanding of “reading” and “literature”.The concept of “the book” has a wider significance, however, and includesnot just books in printed form, but also books in digital format. When itcomes to masculine reading the understanding of “reading” and “literature”tends to be broadened. The utilitarian aspect of reading is articulated. In orderto improve reading “quality literature” is required, “lower literature” shouldprimarily be seen as a stepping stone to “advanced” and “fine” literature.<br>Program: Bibliotekarie

Segue-se uma análise e proposta de marketing-mix que foca sete pontos: produto, preço, comunicação, distribuição, processos, pessoas e evidências físicas. A comunicação é o ponto mais importante deste plano pois é através dela que, deseja-velmente, a empresa conseguirá atingir a maioria dos seus objectivos de marketing no próximo ano.<br>The marketing plan herein presented refers to "Casa Agrícola Condes de Seia, SA.", it envisages increases in sales as well as maintaining the long lasting mutually advantageous relationships with associations of producers and clients operating in the area. The plan contains a brief description of the company, followed by the analysis of the situation. It includes the internal and external analyses, mission, objectives, activities, SWOT analysis, market analysis, analysis of relationships, targeting and analysis of previous results. This is followed by an analysis and proposal of "marketing-mix" that focuses on seven points: Product, Price, Distribution, Communication, Processes, People and Evidence. Communication is the most important point of this plan because it is through it that the company will achieve most of their marketing objectives in the coming year.
