Abstract:
Abstract Informal caregiving is associated with sleep and stress, particularly among women, but no studies have examined the impact of caregiving for different individuals (child, parent, spouse) on sleep and stress. This study fills that gap. Caregivers of a child (N=151, Mage=40.50, 52%-female), parent (N=99, Mage=44.45, 52%-female), and spouse (N=71, Mage=55.26, 45%-female) completed the Perceived Stress Scale and reported bed/waketime consistency and night awakenings. Three-way ANOVAs evaluated interactions (caregiver-type x sleep/stress x sex) and main effects, controlling for age. Main e

Abstract Objective To examine whether demographic variables can assist in predicting executive dysfunction in individuals with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). Method Data were collected from presurgical evaluations of 13 individuals with TLE (67% females, mean age 34 ± 12) at the University of California, San Francisco Epilepsy Center. Executive functions were assessed using subtests from the D-KEFS (Verbal Fluency and Color/Word Interference Tests) and the Trail Making Test B. This study aims to explain and predict the donation behavior of college students, a representative group of the MZ generation who will lead the future, by verifying the prediction model. This study collected data from July to October 2022 from 351 university students. SPSS Window 18.0 and AMOS 17.0 were used to analyze the fit of the hypothesis model and verify the hypothesis using the covariance structure method. As a result of the analysis, the model fit indices of the research model were χ2/df=2.97 ( <.001), GFI=.89, AGFI=.84, NFI=.91, CFI=.87, RMR=.08, and RMSEA=.08. Donation experience

AbstractObjectiveThe current discussion regarding ‘place effects on health’ is increasingly focusing on the characteristics of a specific physical environment. Our study investigated whether socially deprived residential areas are more likely than affluent neighbourhoods to provide access to addictive substances and fast food.DesignIn this ecological study the total number of tobacco, alcohol and fast-food outlets was recorded and visualized using a geographic information system. Area affluence was measured through the percentage of parents with children of kindergarten or school age with join
