Істотне зменшення авіаперевезень (як внутрішніх, так і зовнішніх), що зумовлено пандемією COVID-19 та її стрімким поширенням по всьому світу. Так, лише за січень-вересень 2020 року аеропорти України, за оперативними даними, обслужили 6,857 млн. пасажирів - це на 62,9% менше, ніж за аналогічний період 2019 року.
