Abstract:

Clinical information systems contain free-text entries in different contexts to be used in a variety of application scenarios. In this study we investigate to what extent diagnosis codes using the disease classification system ICD-10 can be automatically post-assigned to patient-based short problem list entries, (50 characters maximum). Classifiers using random forest and Adaboost performed best with an F-measure of 0.87 and 0.85 running against an unbalanced data set, and an F-measure of 0.88 and 0.94 using a balanced data set, respectively.

การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบการวัดความดันเลือดแดงโดยตรงและโดยทางอ้อมด้วยวิธี oscillometric ในเสือขณะสลบ โดยใช้เสือโคร่งสุขภาพดีจำนวน 12 ตัว เป็นเพศผู้ 7 ตัว และเพศเมีย 5 ตัว อายุเฉลี่ย 4+-1.39 เดือน น้ำหนักเฉลี่ย 18+-10.65 กก. วางยาสลบโดยใช้ ketamine, xylazine และ atropine sulphate รวมเข็มเดียวกันบริหารเข้ากล้ามเนื้อ จดบันทึกอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจ ความดันเลือดแดง systolic, diastolic และความดันเลือดแดงเฉลี่ย โดยวัดความดันเลือดแดงโดยตรงที่บริเวณข้อเท้าขาหลังซ้าย และวัดความดันเลือดแดงโดยทางอ้อมด้วยวิธี oscillometric ที่ข้อเท้าขาหลังขวา และที่โคนหาง ผลการศึกษาพบว่า เสือขณะสลบมีอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจ 109+-16.27

Abstract:

ละอองลอย (aerosol) เป็นส่วนประกอบหนึ่งของบรรยากาศที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่ตลอดเวลาทั้งในมิติของเวลาและพื้นที่ อิทธิพลของละอองลอยต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสภาพอากาศยังไม่เป็นที่แน่ชัดอันเป็นผลเนื่องจากการขาดข้อมูลและพฤติกรรมที่ซับซ้อนของในบรรยากาศ สถานีวิจัยชั้นบรรยากาศ ณ อำเภอพิมาย จังหวัดนครราชสีมา ตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2548 เพื่อทำการตรวจวัดการเปลี่ยนแปลงของละอองลอยตลอดจนข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสภาพของบรรยากาศอื่นๆ ซึ่งสถานีนี้เป็นสถานีอ้างอิงแห่งเดียวที่ตั้งอยู่บนพื้นทวีปบริเวณเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ในงานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงของคุณสมบัติทางทัศนศาสตร์ของละอองลอยระหว่างเดือนพฤษภ

This paper analyzes the effect of payroll taxes on the formal sector labor demand in the presence of wage rigidity. In particular. We study the impact of a reduction of payroll taxes on the creation of formal jobs in Colombia, where about 40 percent of formal-sector workers earn the minimum wage. Using a reform that granted tax credits to firms hiring workers younger than 28 years of age, we obtain estimates of the effect of payroll taxes on formal-sector employment and wages. Abstract:

คนงานที่ทำงานในโรงงานถ่านไฟฉายมีโอกาสสัมผัสกับแมงกานีสและตะกั่ว จึงได้ศึกษาสุขภาพของคนงานทำถ่านไฟฉาย 147 คน ซึ่ง 95% เป็นหญิง มีอายุระหว่าง 18-60 ปี พบว่ามีเปลือกตาซีด ปฏิกิริยาตอบสนองทางประสาทไว ความดันเลือดสูง มีอาการทางระบบทางเดินหายใจและทางเดินอาหาร มีโรคผิวหนัง ปวดข้อ ปวดหัวและอาการอื่น ๆ อาการอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งมีพบในคนงาน 75% อาการที่พบบ่อยที่สุด คือ ปวดหัว 38.5% รองลงมาคือ ซีด 27.4% อาการทางเดินอาหาร 21.5% อาการทางประสาท 20.7% ปวดข้อ 20% และอาการอื่น ที่พบน้อย ผลการตรวจระดับแมงกานีสในเลือดพบว่ามีค่าระหว่าง 1-5.99 ไมโครกรัม% ค่าเฉลี่ย 2.9 ไมโครกรม% สูงกว่าในกลุ่มควบคุมซึ่งมีค่าเฉลี่ย 0.87

High-resolution satellite imagery and machine learning techniques enable precise mapping of rural poverty, as demonstrated in this paper for the case of Ethiopia. Using household survey data with precise GPS coordinates, combined with multiple geospatial datasets, we develop a novel two-stage Random Forest model that first predicts roof materials from satellite imagery and then uses this prediction alongside other geospatial features to estimate household consumption levels.
