The object of this study is the production technology of bread with pumpkin paste. The task to enrich bread with pumpkin paste was resolved. The influence of different amounts of pumpkin paste on the technological parameters of the quality of wheat bread and culinary quality was investigated. It was established that the addition of pumpkin paste influenced the technological parameters of the quality of bread. This study was conducted to evaluate the quality of frozen chicken meat received at government hospitals in Assiut city, Egypt, during hot and cold seasons. A total of 308 chicken meat samples were collected randomly and subjected to sensory, chemical, physical and microbiological testing. Abstract:

The descriptions and measurements in following entries have been translated directly from the inventories compiled by Antonio d’Ambrosio. D’Ambrosio carried out the organization of the finds that were reportedly removed from the Casa del Menandro between 1979 and 1981, and stored in the Casa di Bacco storerooms in Pompeii. These finds had been left in situ, presumably in this house, since its excavation in the 1930s. However, it is not absolutely certain that the artefacts now inventoried as being from the Casa del Menandro were actually all excavated from that house, particularly figurative pieces. Such artefacts are unlikely to have been left in the house and not inventoried at the time of excavation. Also precise provenances, within the house, have not been provided in these recent inventories. Some of these items can be identified as particular finds recorded in the excavation reports, and these have been included in the main catalogue for the Casa del Menandro. For others there are a number of possibilities which are included here and in the main catalogue. None of these artefacts have been studied in detail. Dimensions: 185 mm × 215 mm; d.: 41 mm. Abstract:

Winter sport activities. As mentioned in Chapter 1, the focus of this book is on the winter sports of skiing and snowboarding, and as previously noted, there are approximately 120 million ski and snowboarders worldwide, with nearly a third of those coming from Western Europe. Figure 2.1 shows the distribution of skiers and boarders by region of origin. The share of international visitors is less than one sixth of partici- pants, with the international flow of skiers and boarders primarily restricted to Europe. Overseas visitors in the U.S., for example, represented just 3.8 per cent of total skier visits in 2012/13. Although some countries have very few ski areas, they are still, like the Netherlands and the U.K., significant outbound markets, sending around one million skiers and boarders each to the mountains every winter. France, Germany, Japan and the U.S. have the biggest domestic ski and snowboard markets, each numbering between 11.5 and 13 million people. In terms of inbound visits, Austria leads the way, with over 34 million, followed by France with 15 million and Switzerland with 13.8 million. Meanwhile, countries with a high level of participation rates amongst domestic populations include Switzerland (37%), Austria (36%), Norway (25%), and Finland (24%). Interestingly, only 4.3 per cent of the population in the U.S. takes to the mountains each winter. Table 2.1 lists the countries that receive over one million skier visits, along with participation rates as a percentage of their population.

The second harmonic (532 nm) of a pulsed Nd:YAG laser with a pulse width of 10 ns and an energy maximum of 300 mJ/ pulse was used to induce combustion on a rotating coal target prepared by compressing powdered coal to 15,000 psi in a die. The spectrum was recorded with a double monochromator coupled with a Hamamatsu P636 photomultiplier and a boxcar integrator. The August 2016 surveys of expectations conducted by Central Banks with inflation targeting regimes indicate that the simple average growth rate expected for 2016 for the eight countries covered by REVELA has remained stable at 1.7% compared to the July. Similarly, the GDP weighted-average growth rate expected for 2016 remained stable at -0.4% in August. At the same time, inflation expectations decreased by 0.2% from 5.4% to 5.2% on a simple average basis but increased by 0.1% from 5.6% to 5.7% on a GDP weighted average basis. More than 710 deaths and 4831 injuries have been recorded from these incidents. The highest number of violent incidents have been recorded in the form of clashes and attacks (1523).
