Mechanical alloying, compaction by cold isostatic pressing, and pressureless sintering were used to study the potential for W â 3 wt% Ni â 1 wt% Fe to be processed into the bulk nanocrystalline form as a replacement material for depleted uranium in kinetic energy penetrators. Milling time and sintering temperature were varied from 15 to 100 hours and 1000 to 1300°C respectively. O presente trabalho avaliou o potencial da enzima HRP no descoramento dos corantes têxteis: Azul Drimaren X-3LR (DMBLR), Azul Drimaren X-BLN (DMBBLN), Rubinol Drimaren X-3LR (DMR) e Azul Drimaren CL-R (RBBR). Parâmetros como concentração do corante, temperatura, concentração de peróxido de hidrogênio (H2O2) e tempo de reação foram otimizados. L’objectif de ce travail de thèse était d’étudier le comportement en fatigue oligocyclique de l’acier Fe-3Si utilisé pour les rotors des nouveaux alterno-démarreurs développés par Valeo. L’étude pris en compte la relation entre la réponse mécanique et la microstructure, les mécanismes de fatigue, l’évaluation de la déformation à une échelle mésoscopique et une optimisation du dimensionnement du rotor. Les essais de fatigue, menés sur des éprouvettes d’épaisseur 350μm, ont montré un durcissement cyclique du matériau et le mode de propagation de la fissure, fragile, souligne sa faible ténacité.

Elemental powder of Al70Cu22Ti8(all in wt. %) composition was milled in a Fritsch pulverisette planetary mill for 50h under toluene. Powder of 1wt. % Y2O3 and 1wt. % TiO2 were added separately to the 50 h milled base alloy powder to study the effect of oxide dispersion.
