Abstract Background The medial longitudinal arch of the foot is a variable structure, and a decrease in its height could affect several functions and increase the risk of injuries in the lower limbs. There are many different techniques for evaluating it. Objective The objective of this study was to evaluate the correlations of the Navicular Drop Test, several footprint parameters, and the Foot Posture Index-6 in people with a low medial longitudinal arch. Intrarater reliability and interrater reliability were also estimated. Design This was a repeated-measures, observational descriptive study.

Abstract:
This report provides a more accurate micro-hardness vs. strain correlation based on the larger strains achievable with interrupted tensile tests on notched specimens from two modern steels des-ignated as Pipe #1 and Pipe #2 and two vintage steels designated as Pipe #3 and Pipe #4. These pipes were used to evaluate the mechanical strength of dent and gouge defects in PRCI projects MD-4-1, MD-4-6 and DOT #339. Interrupted tensile tests were performed on specimens with dif-ferent geometries, which allowed to identify accurate parameters for a constitutive mechanical be-havior law that represents

Abstract:
Expanding irrigation is frequently promoted as a solution to undernutrition and food insecurity by increasing agricultural output, creating jobs, and raising incomes. However, its effects on children's diets and water supplies have not been thoroughly examined on a global scale. A study of 26 low- and middle-income countries reveals a clear, positive correlation between irrigation expansion and increased dietary diversity in children. However, in water-rich regions, irrigation expansion tends to be directed towards producing export-oriented cash crops, resulting in only minor local nutritional

Abstract:
Reports, publications, papers, and databases were reviewed to better define risks and threats to plastic gas distribution piping. Failure modes were described for plastic PE piping with the most significant being slow crack growth (SCG). Short-term mechanical tests such as tensile, quick burst, melt index, and density tests did not show a correlation with a material's susceptibility to SCG failure. The bend-back test was able to visually identify 1971 low-ductile inner wall materials. PENT test failure times were reported for materials manufactured during the period1972-1985. The PENT test did

Composite materials installed on pipelines where damage generated by corrosion or erosion that begins as a wall-loss defect that can transition to a through-wall defect. Critically, the damage generated by the process tends to have a region of diffuse wall loss surrounding a through-wall penetration. Design qualification of repairs for through-wall defects are performed using simulated flaws manufactured by drilling through the pipe wall. This creates straight-sided flaws with significant remaining stiffness, very different from the diffuse, tapered flaws produced by erosion or corrosion. This

Abstract:
Purpose/Background: Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have an impact on health throughout the lifespan (Filletti et al., 1999; Hughes et al., 2017). These experiences range from physical and mental abuse, substance abuse in the home, parental separation or loss, financial instability, acute illness or injury, witnessing violence in the home or community, and incarceration of family members (Hughes et al., 2017). Understanding and screening for ACEs in children with urinary incontinence can help practitioners identify psychological stress as a potentially modifiable risk factor. Methods: A 5
