Abstract:
The syntheses and room-temperature single-crystal X-ray structural characterization of binuclear 1 : 2 adducts formed between silver(I) (pseudo-)halides, AgX, and triphenylarsine, AsPh3, for X = Cl, Br, I, SCN (1)–(4), are described. The chloride (1), obtained from 2-methylpyridine, is triclinic, P-1, a 10·410(2), b 12·716(2), c 14·196(6) Å, α 113·38(2), β 109·41(2), γ 75·08(1)°, Z = 1 (dimer); conventional R on F was 0·037 for No 3979 independent ‘observed’ (I > 3σ(I)) reflections. Abstract In order to reduce toxicity in elderly patients with newly diagnosed APL, since 3/1997 the Italian cooperative group GIMEMA evaluated an amended AIDA protocol for patients aged > 60 years, consisting of the same induction with ATRA and Idarubicin but only 1st consolidation course (Idarubicin + Cytarabine), followed by 2 years maintenance with ATRA alone. Up to now, 56 patients (25 males and 31 females, median age 66.2 years, 46 with PS 0-1 and 10 with PS 2) are fully evaluable. At onset, according to GIMEMA-PETHEMA risk score, 18 were low-risk(32.5%), 31 intermediate risk (55%)

Abstract:
7096 Background: The combination of dexamethasone and lenalidomide is currently considered one of the standards of care for induction therapy of patients with multiple myeloma (MM) before autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT). Increasing evidence suggests that lenalidomide impairs the ability to collect peripheral blood stem cells (PBSC). Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the outcomes of PBSC collections of MM patients who received induction therapy with dexamethasone and lenalidomide, and who were collected with either granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) alone, 10–16 mcg/Kg

5016 Background: LuPSMA improves progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) in patients with mCRPC. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have limited single-agent activity in mCRPC. Radiation may enhance ICI activity by inducing immunogenic tumor cell death and altering the tumor microenvironment. We evaluated the activity and safety of ipi plus nivo plus LuPSMA in mCRPC. Methods: Eligibility: prior androgen receptor pathway inhibitor therapy, PSMA-positive disease, normal organ function, no contraindications to ICIs, <= 1 line of chemotherapy. ABSTRACT Introduction: A diagnosis of rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder (RBD) currently requires confirmation with polysomnography (PSG). However, PSG may not be sufficiently available. In these situations, a clinical diagnostic measure might be useful. Objective: To validate the Brazilian Portuguese version of RBD screening questionnaire (RBDSQ) for patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Methods: Using detailed clinical interviews and PSG analysis (diagnostic gold standard), a convenience sample of 69 subjects was divided into the following subgroups: patients with PD and RBD (PD+RB

Aims, Objectives and BackgroundThere is evidence that COVID-19 ‘lockdowns’ may have contributed to increased non-accidental injury, domestic violence and self-harm related to deteriorating mental health. Internationally, there is also evidence that the diversion of health care resources may led to worse outcomes for patients presenting with major trauma. There has been no previous national evaluation of ‘lockdown’ measures impact on the characteristics, treatment pathways and outcomes of trauma patients in EnglandWe aimed to assess the impact of successive lockdowns on the volume, demographics
