Abstract:
In general, stock price changes are rare occurrences, and a Poisson process can be used to describe those price changes. This study focuses on asset price modeling utilizing just jump Inverse-Gaussian processes. The goals are to analyze the price-movement patterns of the stock and gauge its relative volatility using the Inverse-Gaussian jump model. The Inverse-Gaussian jump model was employed to analyze the data. The outcome from Table 2 shows that there are more jumps than zero in the estimation of the inverse Gaussian process. This implies that the stock has been continuously rising. For Nes

Oxytocin is primarly secreted in the brain as a neuromodulator that affects numerous neurophysiological and behavioral processes. It is also produced in the ovaries and uterus to stimulate delivery and lactation. Oxytocin mRNA is found in the endometrial epithelial cells of non-pregnant women during ovulation and menstruation. Until recently, there have been no data on scientific-level oxytocin in virgin female rats. This study aimed to compare the level of oxytocin in different physical biology between postpartum and non-pregnant experimental animals (virgin or had never given birth). This ex

Black cumin (Nigella sativa L.) is one of the most important spices and cash crops in Ethiopia. Despite its significance, the national average black cumin yield is low due to many constraints, including the unavailability of improved varieties for each growing and potential area. This research was conducted to evaluate the adaptability and yield potential of the released black cumin varieties. It was conducted at Bule Hora during the 2020–2022 cropping season, and six black cumin varieties were evaluated using a CRBD with three replications. The results of the analysis of variance showed the p

Diabetes is on the rise worldwide, with a global prevalence in adults in 2017 being 8.8% of the world population, with the anticipation of a further increase to 9.9% by 2045. In total numbers, this reflects a population of 424.9 million people with diabetes worldwide in 2017, with an estimate of a 48% increase to 628.6 million people by 2045. Depending on age, global diabetes prevalence is about 5%, 10%, 15% and close to 20%, respectively, for the age groups 35–39, 45–49, 55–59 and 65–69 years. On a global scale, diabetes hits particularly ‘middle aged’ people between 40 and 59 years, which ca

The outcomes of an in-situ experimental campaign in the context of the seismic assessment of 71 existing road bridges belonging to the Veneto regional roadway network have been described. An in-situ and laboratory experimental campaign on basic materials was carried out with the aim of characterizing the main mechanical material parameters of each bridge. Structural assessment has been subsequently carried out, comparing the obtained results with those deriving from a preliminary analysis conducted on the basis of some assumptions on materials’ mechanical characteristics related to the origina

We characterize the elastic response of Apricena marble by using advanced ultrasonic nondestructive techniques. An innovative experimental device for ultrasonic immersion tests is employed for the determination of ultrasonic velocities of waves travelling into the sample for any angle of propagation. The interpretation of the experimental results within the theoretical framework of wave propagation in elastic materials allows for both the classification of the anisotropy and the determination of the elastic moduli.
