The study was conducted on three adult emu birds of 2-3 years of age. The femur was a relatively short, but thickbone, measuring about 23±0.43 cm in length.The fovea capitiswas absent.The large trochanter major was at the same level as the head.A large pneumatic foramen was present on the caudal surface of the femur, medioventrally to the trochanter major. Distal extremity of femur showed a trochlea anteriorly and two condyles posteriorly.The tibio-tarsus waslongest and formed by the fusion of the tibia and proximal row of tarsalbones.The average length was 43±0.68 cm, was almost twice as long

A comparison of total chitinase activity in 12 Mexican native and 7 ARSEF strains from the entomopathogen and mycoparasite Lecanicillium lecanii was performed. For the determination of the enzymatic activity, a water-based medium was used as substrate and carbon source, supplemented with colloidal chitin stained with Remazol brilliant blue. Chitinolytic activity was determined by measuring the amount of dye released; the supernatant from the cultures was analyzed by spectrophotometry. ได้วิเคราะห์คุณค่าทางอาหารของเห็ดที่เพาะเลี้ยงและเห็ดรับประทานได้ที่ขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาติในประเทศไทยทั้งหมด 14 พันธุ์ จากผลการวิเคราะห์ทางเคมีพบว่าเห็ดสดส่วนใหญ่มีโปรตีนประมาณ 2-4% จากการวิเคราะห์โดยวิธี เคลดาห์ล (Kjeldahl) ยกเว้นในเห็ดโคนมีโปรตีนสูงถึง 6.27% ส่วนเห็ดหูหนูพบเพียง 0.77% เห็ดสดมีน้ำอยู่ประมาณ 80-90% ยกเว้นในเห็ดลมมีเพียง 62.9% ในเห็ดแห้งจะมีโปรตีนสูงประมาณ 20-40% เห็ดทุกชนิดมีไขมันน้อยมาก พบมากที่สุดเพียง 0.3% ในเห็ดตะไคล มีกากอาหารประมาณ 0.5-1% มีเถ้าประมาณ 0.5-1% มีคาร์โบฮัยเดตรทประมาณ 4-5% ในเห็ดเกือบทุกชนิด พลังงานมีค่าประมาณ 25-35 แคลอรี วิตามินต่าง ๆ พบมีอยู่บ้างในเห็ดที่นำมา

The April 2016 surveys of expectations conducted by Central Banks with inflation targeting regimes indicate that simple average growth expectations for 2016 for the eight countries covered by REVELA have decreased by 0.1% from 1.8% to 1.7% compared to previous month.
