Abstract Soluble sugar and starch levels were measured in leaf, stem, and petiole tissues of 3 tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) cultivars throughout plant development in order to 1) assess the contribution of reserve carbohydrates to final fruit yield and quality and 2) determine whether genotypic variation exists for this trait. Abstract:
Through numeric simulation of flow in different turning angle cascades with different splitters, the flow mechanism in 2-D compressor cascade with splitter is particularly analyzed in this paper. The study result shows that the splitter can influence the flow field in cascade intensively; the positive attack angle on the splitter leading is an important cause that brings about cascade loss growth. If the splitter chord is short, the presence of splitter has little influence on the cascade inlet flow field, but has intense influence on the outlet flow field. by the modification of splitter, the
