Abstract The study quantified and compared, through HPLC, the amount of Coenzyme Q10 in 30 locally produced and 30 imported chicken eggs. CoQ10 is an essential nutrition that helps in the production of energy in every cell and also guards against destruction from oxidative stressors. Standard concentration used for the evaluation of CoQ10 was 250 µg/ml. The results showed that the CoQ10 levels were significantly higher in local eggs, ranging between 300.1 to 725.8 µg/ml with a mean value of 563.3 µg/ml. While the imported eggs constantly had low CoQ10 levels, ranging between 0.117 and 2.09 µg/

Abstract Background: The incidence of symptomatic adjacent segment disease (ASD) after anterior cervical diskectomy and fusion (ACDF) was reported as 2.9%/y in a previous cohort of 374 patients. Few other data corroborate the incidence and natural history of ASD. Objective: To calculate the incidence of ASD after ACDF that required secondary fusion surgery. Methods: The retrospective study used an 11-year nationwide database to analyze the incidences. All patients who underwent ACDF for cervical disk diseases were identified through diagnostic and procedure codes. Kaplan-Meier and Cox regressi

The possibility of timely correct diagnosing and determining predictors that contribute to the formation of this pathology is one of the main tasks of obstetrics in the near future.
