Abstract:

Landing Gear Drop Test (LGDT) which aims to determine the characteristic of contact/impact force that occurs in the time of the touchdown landing has been conducted. Experimental tests using the apparatus requires a substantial time and cost. Virtual Landing Gear Drop Test (vLGDT) using MSC ADAMS software is one of the solutions for initial stage to testing landing gear. Stiffness values and damping coefficient obtained from vLGDT are 5.0e5 N/m and 1600 N.sec/m. Contact/impact force that occurs on vLGDT is 75996 N, while from experimental is 73612 N. The difference between vLGDT and experimental result is 3.14%.Abstrak:Pengujian landing gear yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik gaya kontak/impak yang terjadi saat touchdown landing telah dilakukan. Pengujian eksperimental menggunakan apparatus membutuhkan waktu yang lama dan biaya yang besar. Vitual Landing Gear Drop Test (vLGDT) menggunakan perangkat lunak MSC ADAMS merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk pengujian tahap awal landing gear. Dari simulasi menggunakan vLGDT diperoleh nilai k = 5.0e5 N/m dan cmax = 1600 N.detik/m. Gaya kontak/impak yang terjadi pada simulasi menggunakan vLGDT sebesar 75996 N, sedangkan dari eksperimental sebesar 73612 N. Hasil vLGDT lebih besar 3.14% dibandingkan eksperimental.

Abstract:

Two indigo-reducing alkaliphilic strains, designated strain C40T and strain N214, were isolated from a fermented Polygonum Indigo (Polygonum tinctorium Lour.) liquor sample aged for 10 months and obtained from Date City, Hokkaido, Japan. 16S rRNA gene sequence phylogeny suggested that strains C40T and N214 were members of the genus Amphibacillus with the closest relative being Amphibacillus xylanus JCM 7361T (97.5 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity with strain C40T), which is the only strain having a 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity higher than 97 % with strain C40T. Cells of strain C40T were Gram-stain-positive, facultatively anaerobic, straight rods that were motile by means of peritrichous flagella. The strains grew between 17 and 39 °C (optimum, 35 °C) and in the pH range of 9.0–12.0. No isoprenoid quinone was detected and the DNA G+C content was 37.5–37.7 mol%. The whole-cell fatty acid profile mainly consisted of iso-C15 : 0 and anteiso-C15 : 0. DNA–DNA hybridization of strain C40T with Amphibacillus xylanus JCM 7361T revealed a DNA–DNA relatedness value of 10±3 %. Owing to the differences in phenotypic characteristics and phylogenetic analyses based on 16S rRNA gene sequences, as well as DNA–DNA relatedness data from reported species of the genus Amphibacillus , the isolates merit classification as a novel species in the genus Amphibacillus , for which the name Amphibacillus indicireducens sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is C40T ( = JCM 17250T = NCIMB 14686T). An additional strain of the species is N214. An emended description of the genus Amphibacillus is provided.

Abstract:

Landing Gear Drop Test (LGDT) utilizes the apparatus requiring a substantial time and cost. Virtual LGDT (vLGDT) using MSC ADAMS software is one of the solutions for initial stage to testing landing gear. From simulation with vsink 1.7 m/s and load 22000 N obtained contact/impact force that ensue in MSC ADAMS was 73650 N, while from experimental was 73612 N. The difference between vLGDT and LGDT result is 0.05 %. To obtain ground reaction load factor below 3 in vsink = 3.05 m/s, the rubber damper should have stiffness in the range of 1900 - 2100 N/mm and for the tire pressure of 60 - 65 psi.

Abstract:

These studies are conducted on 36 human embroys and foetus. Four stages are marked out in the development of connective tissue of the duodenum: 1) mesenchymal stage (28-35 the day of the embryo); 2) the stage of loose embryonic connective tissue (35 days - 3.5 months of foetus); 3) the stage of formation of the definitive loose connective tissue (3,5-6,5 months of the fetus); 4) the stage of initial definitive development (6,5 months before birth of the fetus). Each stage is characterized by a specific set of cellular differens, chemical composition of polysaccarides of cells of connective tissue and intercellular substance. On mesenchymal stage of development, the cells and intercellular substance CHIC-positive substances – contain glycogen and proteoglycans that give metachromasia, stained with alcian blue on Shubitch, Hale, but CHIC are negative. At the stage of loose connective tissue in mesenchymal cells, the reduction of glycogen and accumulation of glycosaminoglycans are identified. Glycogen, hyaluronic acid and precursors sulfated groups glycosaminogly-cans are detected in fibroblasts, endothelium of capillaries, in primary blood cells, in macrophages. At the stage of formation of loose connective tissue, there is the accumulation of TIME – amelanotic compounds (proteoglycans) in the cells and in the intercellular substance. Identification of them showed that the precursors of sulfated glycosaminoglycans and chondroitin sulfates (HSC) type C are identified. The intensity of the response to glycogen decreases. In the initial definitive development in the cytoplasm of fibroblasts – there is moderate staining on Hale-positive substances, poor color on Shubich and toluidine blue. In plasmablastics and in B-lymphocytes, the glycogen and glycosaminoglycans types of hyaluronic acid are identified. In the cytoplasm of mast cells, the substances such as hyaluronic acid, HSH type and unfinished synthesis heparina are identified.

En 1898, Archer Milton Huntington, futuro fundador da Hispanic Society of America, publica A Note-Book in Northern Spain, un libro de viaxes cuxos capítulos iniciais están dedicados a Galiza, especialmente á Coruña e a Santiago de Compostela. O obxectivo deste artigo é analizar a imaxe de Galiza plasmada no volume, no marco da representación de España construída polo ollar anglosaxón, particularmente o norteamericano, reflectido na literatura de viaxes, na incipiente produción académica hispanista e na moda hispana que se expande polas artes en Estados Unidos na viraxe do século, coincidindo cun momento de conflicto político entre ambos estados. Mostraremos como A Note-Book in Northern Spain combina as impresións directas do viaxeiro sobre Galiza, coa información proveniente de fontes librescas, singularmente de Galicia (1888) de Manuel Murguía, obra referente do rexionalismo galego, e de Recuerdos de un viaje a Santiago de Galicia (1880) de Fidel Fita e Aureliano Guerra, dos estudos xacobeos. A análise terá en conta a información complementaria das viaxes de Huntington a España e a Galiza recollida nos seus diarios.

Este texto pretende ser um primeiro levantamento e síntese de resultados (não isento de autorreflexividade), do projeto de investigação “Discursos, imagens e práticas culturais sobre Santiago de Compostela como meta dos Caminhos” (FFI2012-35521), desenvolvido entre 2011 e 2017 por uma equipa de investigação multidisciplinar e interuniversitária vinculada à Rede Galabra (https://redegalabra.org/). O presente contributo seleciona a totalidade das publicações resultantes das análises representativas realizadas sobre secções do corpus geral do projeto referido, composto por sua vez por um corpus documental formado por livros, audiovisuais e sites, e por outro grupo de materiais constituído por inquéritos e entrevistas passados entre 2013 e 2015 a habitantes da cidade, comerciantes e visitantes (procedentes da Galiza, Espanha, Portugal e Brasil). O levantamento dos objetivos focados, o corpus analisado, a metodologia e ferramentas utilizadas e as principais conclusões ou hipóteses levantadas nos 21 produtos publicados no âmbito desse projeto de investigação permite concluir, entre outras questões, a validez da aplicação de métodos e procedimentos referenciados no trabalho por questionário ou no recurso ao Processamento da Linguagem Natural (PLN); o impacto da obra do escritor Paulo Coelho nas práticas de visitantes (nomeadamente brasileiros); ou, até, a centralidade da Igreja católica e da religião no entendimento tanto do Caminho como da própria cidade, juntamente com a construção de uma imagem de Santiago de Compostela e da comunidade local ligada à espiritualidade e o medievalismo.

A Guerra Civil española é o conflito fratricida que tivo máis repercusións en Uruguai debido á forte implicación, a favor do lado republicano, dunha gran parte da poboación do país. Aínda que, ao comezo, o goberno do momento de Gabriel Terra era renuente a admitir os republicanos españois exiliados, a poboación uruguaia ofrecía a súa axuda aos que chegaron a estas costas do Río de la Plata e aos que aínda loitaban en España. A maioría dos exiliados republicanos españois chegaron a Uruguai durante o conflito e nos anos seguintes procederon de rexións como Cataluña, Euskadi, das dúas Castelas, Asturias, Andalucía, Madrid e Galicia; e entre eles destacou a presenza de intelectuais, científicos, escritores, artistas e profesionais de todo tipo e tamén de traballadores agrícolas, comerciantes, camareiros, etc. O obxectivo deste traballo é presentar a experiencia migratoria, concretamente, dos exiliados republicanos galegos en Montevideo. Ponse especial énfase no papel que xogaron estes exiliados na escena cultural local do momento, que deixou unha profunda pegada na sociedade de Montevideo e uruguaia en xeral.

Abstract:

Este artigo analiza o campo literario infantoxuvenil galego a partir das pegadas que os feminismos e as traducións tiveron nel. A partir do establecemento previo dunha serie de períodos no referente ao impacto dos feminismos nas obras para a infancia e a mocidade, tentarase ver se as obras feministas doutros sistemas literarios precederon e foron modelo das galegas no marco da literatura infantil e xuvenil, se as autoras comprometidas cos feminismos en Galicia foron tamén tradutoras de textos coeducativos e se na actualidade o campo literario galego conta coas obras referenciais na abordaxe de cuestións como as masculinidades alternativas, as identidades sexuais non normativas ou os personaxes *trans. Grazas á análise de casos concretos, comprobarase que o campo literario galego tardou en importar obras feministas para o lectorado en formación, que as obras galegas souberon ser innovadoras con respecto aos feminismos –aínda que nalgunhas delas se perciba a influencia de certos modelos– e que, no tempo en que se precisaban traducións pola entrada do galego no ensino, privilexiáronse os textos das tradicións populares veciñas e os clásicos da literatura infantil. Ademais, incidirase en que, nos últimos anos, a tradución de autoras é algo moi habitual, mentres que tamén se conta con algúns textos feministas interesantes, mais isto ocorre sen ningún tipo de planificación previa que garanta unha calidade e os mecanismos de diversidade cultural que un sistema literario coas particularidades do galego precisa.

Abstract:

Este artigo pretende explorar as conexións existentes entre o relato da experiencia de guerra, a memoria do protagonista dos feitos bélicos narrados e o plano cultural das emocións proxectadas nos textos e noutros documentos autobiográficos (medo, compaixón, orgullo...) legados por Enrique Líster Forján, xefe militar e dirixente comunista galego. A metodoloxía escollida para este traballo permite un achegamento dende a historia cultural aos diversos contextos da escritura e aos elementos máis importantes da interpretación trazada sobre conceptos como camaradería e masculinidade por un militante comunista comprometido na construción dun mundo novo, no bloqueo do avance fascista sobre España e Europa e, máis tarde, no derrocamento da ditadura franquista. Unha loita continua levada a cabo ata o final por medio da palabra e da transformación da derrota sufrida fronte a Franco e os seus aliados nazi-fascistas nun relato mobilizador que manexa a épica de forma selectiva e como estratexia para outorgarlle ao suxeito principal do seu discurso, o pobo, un papel privilexiado na rexeneración do seu destino histórico.

Abstract:

No presente artigo analizamos algúns expedientes da censura franquista que conteñen as solicitudes de representación do teatro galego xerados no período de entre 1942 e 1970 conservados no Arquivo Xeral da Administración (Alcalá de Henares). Nun primeiro apartado realízase unha aproximación histórica á censura; no segundo estúdase o funcionamento interno e a estrutura organizativa da censura ao longo deses anos. Tras esas premisas, nos apartados seguintes analízanse os expedientes que se xeraron a propósito da produción galega e que se conservaron no AGA, tanto as solicitudes de representación teatral do período referido como os expedientes relativos a certas edicións dos textos representados. Da documentación analizada dedúcese, ademais, o proceso evolutivo da dramaturxia galega naquela cronoloxía, desde un teatro de carácter costumista ás novas dramaturxias en lingua galega próximas xa ás do teatro europeo coetáneo.

Abstract:

Gonzalo Torrente Ballester (1910-1999) é, sen dúbida, un dos máis importantes novelistas da literatura española da segunda metade do pasado século. A conquista desa posición canónica a partir dos anos 70 está directamente relacionada coa boa recepción, tanto por parte da crítica como por parte do público, da que gozou a súa novela La saga/fuga de J. B., publicada en 1972. É tamén a partir dese momento que o autor se achegará á cultura galega e que comezará a participar dos seus debates intelectuais e políticos. Con este contributo pretendemos deitar luz sobre as estratexias que Torrente desenvolveu para conseguir ocupar posicións relevantes en dous sistemas –o galego e o español– sucados por un conflito nacional. Analizaremos con ese fin o papel que historia e historiadores xogan en La saga/fuga de J. B., prestando particular atención aos distintos procesos de liberación nacional que constitúen a súa trama. Intentaremos así dar unha nova lectura ao texto que o comprenda non só como un artefacto lúdico, senón tamén como un texto de compromiso político.

Abstract:

A emigración da poboación galega na posguerra foi moi elevada, como elevado foi tamén o retorno das persoas emigradas, especialmente durante a transición. Para elas, non só foi difícil a marcha do país, senón tamén o regreso a un lugar en aparente democracia, mais aínda en conflito polas feridas non reparadas da contenda. A través da lectura de ensaios e novelas centrados no retorno, preténdese convidar á reflexión sobre as consecuencias do regreso ao lugar de orixe e analizar a súa repercusión nos ámbitos familiar, social e político, entre outros. Falamos de ruptura da identidade, de inadaptación crónica, de choque xeracional, de decepción, desengano ou desarraigo, situacións todas elas que evidencian os conflitos dunha identidade en permanente (de)construción.

Aínda que nas últimas tres décadas os nosos coñecementos acerca dos emigrantes de Galicia na Arxentina experimentaron notables avances, continúa sendo pouco o que sabemos en relación coa problemática particular das mulleres galegas no país, particularmente no que respecta á súa integración económica. Certamente, tanto as fontes oficiais arxentinas como as das asociacións de étnicas galaicas no país presentan importantes limitacións á hora de indagar na integración feminina na súa faceta laboral, mais o baleiro debe atribuírse en última instancia ao “discurso da domesticidade”, que santificou o fogar como un espazo no que a muller desenvolvía a súa misión de responsable da reprodución física e moral da familia, mentres ao home lle correspondían as tarefas rentadas fóra da casa. De alí, en boa medida, o subrexistro e a falta de percepción do fenómeno do traballo feminino. A partir da información consignada en dúas fontes de tipo nominativo e nos testemuños recollidos a partir de entrevistas a emigrantes galegas ou aos seus familiares, abordamos a inserción socioprofesional de migrantes galegas radicadas nos municipios bonaerenses de Avellaneda e Lanús entre 1890 e 1960, procurando botar luz tanto sobre o seu rol economicamente activo como sobre a integración que alcanzaron no sector secundario da economía da zona.

Nevertheless,there is evidence that Persian visitors came to Japan as early as 736CE(Tenpyō hachi nen 天平8年).2 It has been postulated that some of thesePersians were Syriac Christians,3 Zoroastrians, or Manichaeans,4 however,the historical sources do not provide details of their religious affiliationand therefore no definitive conclusions in regards to their religions can bemade.5 This research note explores the visit and biography of a man whocame to Japan some five and a half centuries later than these first Persianvisitors, a man whom Hosaka Shuji notes was the first recorded Muslimvisitor to Japan.6 This figure, known as Sādōulǔdīng 撒都魯丁 in Chineseand Sadorotei in Japanese, came to Japan as part of an envoy sent by Khubilai7Khan (1215-1294CE), the first ruler of the Yuán 元 dynasty (1271-1368CE), in 1275CE. Abstract:

High resolution optical spectra of the planetary nebula Abell 78 were gathered, covering the wavelength ranges 3500–6600 Å and 3358–7361 Å, with a spectral resolution of ∼0.1 Å. Two different regions of Abell 78 are analyzed: the strongest knot near the central star which is thought to be a mass-loaded wind from the central star, and the outer, hydrogen-rich envelope. Physical parameters and chemical composition of both regions are estimated. The inner knot appears to be cooler and denser than the hydrogen-rich envelope. The chemical composition of the inner knot shows that there is almost no hydrogen near the central star and the emission is dominated by helium and processed material which has been dredged-up from the inner layers of the star. The outer, hydrogen-rich envelope appears to be deficient in heavy elements, mainly in oxygen, compared to the average abundances that are found among galactic planetary nebulae.

Abstract:

A phenanthrene- and citronellol-degrading bacterium, strain RLD-1T, was isolated from the fly ash dumping site of a thermal power plant in Delhi, India. The 16S rRNA gene sequence indicated that this strain belongs to the genus Pseudomonas; high levels of sequence similarity were found with respect to Pseudomonas citronellolis DSM 50332T (98.9 %), Pseudomonas jinjuensis DSM 16612T (97.6 %) and Pseudomonas nitroreducens DSM 14399T (97.5 %). Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences placed the strain within the clade represented by these three strains. Strain RLD-1T showed low levels of DNA–DNA hybridization with respect to P. citronellolis DSM 50332T (36 %), P. jinjuensis DSM 16612T (4 %) and P. nitroreducens (13.7 %). Strain RLD-1T can also be distinguished from these three strains on the basis of several biochemical and physiological attributes. The novel strain contained high levels of cellular fatty acids 18 : 1ω7c, 16 : 0 and 16 : 1ω7c, along with 10 : 0 3-OH and 12 : 0 3-OH. Thus, strain RLD-1T represents a novel species of the genus Pseudomonas, for which the name Pseudomonas delhiensis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is RLD-1T (=MTCC 7601T=CCM 7361T).

Abstract:

The end-Permian mass extinction (∼252 Ma) was responsible for high rates of extinction and evolutionary bottlenecks in a number of animal groups. Echinoids, or sea urchins, were no exception, and the Permian to Triassic represents one of the most significant intervals of time in their macroevolutionary history. The extinction event was responsible for significant turnover, with the Permian–Triassic representing the transition from stem group echinoid-dominated faunas in the Palaeozoic to Mesozoic faunas dominated by crown group echinoids. This turnover is well-known, however, the environmental and taxonomic distribution of echinoids during the latest Permian and Early Triassic is not. Here we report on an echinoid fauna from the Tesero Member, Werfen Formation (latest Permian to Early Triassic) of the Dolomites (northern Italy). The fauna is largely known from disarticulated ossicles, but consists of both stem group taxa, and a new species of crown group echinoid,Eotiaris teseroensisn. sp. That these stem group echinoids were present in the Tesero Member indicates that stem group echinoids did not go extinct in the Dolomites coincident with the onset of extinction, further supporting other recent work indicating that stem group echinoids survived the end-Permian extinction. Furthermore, the presence ofEotiarisacross a number of differing palaeoenvironments in the Early Triassic may have had implications for the survival of cidaroid echinoids during the extinction event.
