Abstract:
In 29 patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), we obtained blood samples at baseline, 10 minutes after standard weight-based abciximab (n=15) or double-bolus eptifibatide (n=14) and 5 minutes after unfractionated heparin (UFH; 70 U/kg bolus). The median percent inhibition was significantly higher in the eptifibatide group compared with the abciximab group both before (96.5% [94-100] vs. 85% [77-89.5] [adenosine diphosphate; ADP]; 89.5% [84-95] vs. 59% [37.5-76.5] [thrombin receptor agonist peptide; TRAP], p<0.001 for both) and after UFH (95% [93-100] vs. 79% [68.8-87.5] [ADP]; 82% [77-93] vs. 51% [34.5-71.3] [TRAP], p<0.001 for both). Addition of UFH significantly reduced platelet inhibition in the abciximab group (85% [77-89.5] vs. 79% [68.8-87.5] [ADP]; 59% [37.5-76.5] vs. 51% [34.5-71.3] [TRAP], p<0.05 for both) but not in the eptifibatide group (96.5% [94-100] vs. 95% [93-100] [ADP]; 89.5% [84-95] vs. 82% [77-93] [TRAP], p=ns for both). Eptifibatide achieved superior platelet inhibition before but especially after UFH compared with abciximab.

ABSTRAKGreen campus didefinisikan sebagai kampus yang berwawasan lingkungan, yang mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan lingkungan ke dalam kebijakan, manajemen, dan kegiatan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Green campus juga harus menjadi contoh implementasi pengintegrasian ilmu lingkungan dalam semua aspek manajemen dan praktek pembangunan berkelanjutan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan kategori peran serta pihak manajemen kampus beserta indikator penyusunnya yang semula belum ada di UI GreenMetric. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa studi literatur dari standar dan toolkit yang digunakan di luar maupun dalam negeri yaitu STARS AASHE, Green Guide for University, dan Greening University Toolkit yang dianggap sesuai dengan strategi peningkatan efektivitas peran manajemen kampus dalam menyukseskan penerapan green campus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kategori manajemen yang diusulkan terdiri dari 4 indikator, yaitu: perencanaan berkelanjutan, pengembangan mahasiswa dan staf, penilaian berkelanjutan, dan kerjasama dengan institusi.Kata kunci: green campus, UI Greenmetric, peran manajemen ABSTRACTGreen campus is defined as campus with environmental insight, that integrates environmental science into policy, management, and base three pilar of collage. Green campus is also used as an example of implementing the integration of environmental science in all aspects of sustainable development management and practices. This research aims to develop the category including the indicators of campus management’s role in green campus assessment based on UI GreenMetric. Secondary data were obtained from study literature of standards and toolkits used all around the world, i.e. STARS AASHE, Green Guide for University, and Greening University Toolkit which are related to the strategy of increasing the effectiveness of campus management’s role in succeeding the implementation of green campus. The results showed that the proposed category of management consist of 4 indicators: sustainability planning, student and staff development, sustainability assessment, and community partnership.Keywords: green campus, UI Greenmetric, management role

Abstract:
Near-infrared reflectance spectroscopy was used to assess the mineral composition of both alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) and white clover (Trifolium repens L.). Alfalfa (n=230) and white clover (n=97) plant samples from different locations in Uruguay representing a wide range of soil types were analysed. The samples were scanned for reflectance in a NIRSystems 6500 monochromator (NIRSystems, Silver Spring, MD, USA). Predictive equations were developed using modified partial least squares (MPLS) with cross validation to avoid overfitting. The coefficients of determination in calibration (R_{\rm cal}^{2}) and the standard errors in cross validation (SECV) were 0·93 (SECV: 1·6), 0·95 (SECV: 1·3), 0·93 (SECV: 1·9), 0·88 (SECV: 2·7), 0·82 (SECV: 0·3) and 0·75 (SECV: 4·7) for alfalfa and 0·98 (SECV: 0·8), 0·52 (SECV: 0·8), 0·97 (SECV: 2·7), 0·83 (SECV: 3·1), 0·82 (SECV: 1·9) and 0·45 (SECV: 2·6) for white clover, for N, Ca, K, P, Mg and S in g/kg on a dry weight respectively. Calcium, nitrogen and potassium were well predicted by NIRS in both alfalfa and white clover samples.

Abstract:
Les travaux portent sur les facteurs de production et l'efficacité tehnique de 24 industries indiennes sur la période 1981/82 à 1992/93. L'approche choisie met en évidence une technologie du type Cobb Douglas avec faible progrès technique pour 10 industries. La lecture des résultats à la lumière des réformes des années 80 et 90 montre que les premières pro-business ont permis le retour à la croissance et à 23 industries étudiées, de présenter des rendements d'échelle. L'effet des réformes de 1991 est moins visible mais ces réformes pro-market ont été mises en oeuvre de façon plus disparate d'un état et les données disponibles offrent peu de recul par rapport aux réformes. Par ailleurs, les résultats des estimations de frontières de production révèlent des niveaux moyens d'efficacité technique assez disparates avec de larges possibilités de gain en efficacité en général et de fortes disparités régionales aisément expliquées par le climat des affaires de l'état considéré. Au final, il ressort que les réformes doivent être poursuivies de façon harmonisée dans tous les Etats et accompagnées de mesures spécifiques de soutien aux industries ne présentant pas de progrès technique ni rendements d'échelles ou avec des niveaux faibles d'efficacité pour leur permettre d'affronter la concurrence accrue et pour les industries des états possédant le moins de facteurs favorables pour leur permettre de supporter une concurrence accrue au niveau interne et international.

DE LA TESI DOCTORAL DE MONTSERRAT CORRETGER SÀEZ<br/>VIDA I OBRA D'ALFONS MASERAS: ESTUDI ESPECÍFIC DE LA SEVA NARRATIVA<br/>La tesi recupera la biografia i l'obra literària d'Alfons Maseras, un escriptor considerat superficialment per la crítica contemporània, que el reduí a formar part de la nòmina d'autors modernistes de segon ordre i n'ignorà dades com la data de la mort o de l'arribada a Barcelona en la infantesa, i no en la joventut com sempre s'havia afirmat.<br/>S'hi estudia l'horitzó intel·lectual d'Alfons Maseras, un dels més eficaços introductors de la cultura catalana a Europa i de l'expansió de models estrangers a Catalunya des de la seva tasca de corresponsal literari, indefugible per comprendre el món intel·lectual de Catalunya entre 1906 i 1939. S'estableix el credo polític de l'escriptor i la seva participació en els esdeveniments històrics de la primera meitat del segle XX: prop del CNR (a El Poble Català) i en els anys vint a París, com a director de Le Courrier Catalan en la lluita contra la Dictadura. Durant els anys trenta continuà exercint el seu ideal catalanista amb una dedicació plena a la creació literària i a la traducció. Seguidament s'analitza cada una de les obres incloses al període, insistint en els aspectes ideològics, estructurals, estètics, i en el tractament que la crítica de l'època li atorgà. <br/>La tesi estableix la posició estètica i el pensament de Maseras en cada obra i en cada etapa de la seva producció narrativa, tenint en compte el context literari català i europeu en cada cas. <br/>ROVIRA I VIRGILI UNIVERSITY<br/>DEPARTMENT CATALAN PHILOLOGY<br>OF DOCTORAL THESIS BY MONTSERRAT CORRETGER SÀEZ<br/>THE LIFE AND WORKS OF ALFONS MASERAS: A SPECIFIC STUDY OF HIS NARRATIVE<br/>The thesis studies the biography and literary work of Alfons Maseras, a writer considered only superficially by contemporary criticism which has relegated him to the list of second rate modernist authors and which ignores information such as the date when he died or the fact that he arrived in Barcelona during his infancy and not as a young man, as has always been stated.The thesis studies the intellectual horizons of Alfons Maseras, who was one of the most effective disseminators of Catalan culture in Europe and who introduced and expanded foreign models in Catalonia in his role of literary correspondent, something which is essential for understanding Catalan intellectual circles between 1906 and 1939. It also establishes the writer's political creed and his role in the historic events of the first half of the 20th century. He was allied to the CNR (Catalan Republican Nationalist Centre) and its organ El Poble Català (The Catalan People) and in Paris in the 1920s he was editor of Le Courrier Catalan in the struggle against the dictatorship. During the 1930s he continued to live out his Catalan ideals and dedicated himself fully to literary creation and translation. During the final years of his life, during the Civil War and his brief exile, he acted as the voice of the public conscience, resulting from his many activities in defence of Catalan culture and republican institutions.<br/>Alfons Maseras had cultivated an interest in poetry and theatre in which he was less successful despite having published and staged some plays. In addition to his narrative corpus, which includes twelve novels, nine collections of short stories, eleven novellas, four books of various writings, four biographies and a collection of essays, he was a journalist who made an important number of collaborations in Catalan and foreign publications, which are evaluated in the thesis on the grounds that they provide clues to understanding his narrative. Ninety publications have been tracked down, from which the thesis looks at and discusses some 1.400 journalistic articles and literary collaborations. These articles and collaborations are taken from the literary supplements and sections of chapters which investigate their most important aspects. The thesis systemizes and comments on the entire body of Maseras' poetry, theatre, essays and prose, and makes a monographic study of his narrative, using an analytic method which harmonizes both the biographical and creative aspects which interlaced with each other.<br/>The study is divided into two parts: the first, which consists of the first five chapters, deals with Maseras' life and activities as a journalist, translator, poet and playwright, and the second, which makes up the remaining four chapters, analyzes his narrative work. <br/>Chapters I, II, III, IV and V comment on the author's biography, depicting the main productive stages of his life and studying his non-narrative work, particularly his journalism. The first chapter describes and interprets the foundations of life and work and studies in depth his family roots and his first literary attempts. The second analyzes his formative intellectual circles, his first journeys and his initial poetic output. The third and fourth chapters form the nucleus of the study because they look at the second and third decades of the century where Maseras intervened directly in the most important political and cultural events in Catalonia. They analyze the numerous practical and theoretical activities which he carried out in relation to the Great War. He was involved in the Comitè d'Amics de la Unitat Moral d'Europa (the Committee of Friends for the Moral Unity of Europe), Comitè de Germanor amb els Voluntaris Catalans (the Committee of Brotherhood with the Catalan Volunteers), Conferències de les Nacionalitats de París i Lausanne (the Conferences of the Nationalities in Paris and Lausanne), the treatise Pancatalanisme (Pan-Catalanism), the Pro-Serbia and Pro-Lithuania manifestos, the campaign Pro-Autonomia de Catalunya (campaign in favour of Catalan autonomy), the "Plebiscit del poble català per l'Autonomia" (Plebiscite of the Catalan People regarding Autonomy) in the Tribune Libre des Nationalités, etc. The chapters also analyze his stays in Paris and the resulting contacts he established with foreign writers. The fifth chapter analyzes his later life in Barcelona, the defining intellectual, social and familial conditions of his work and his tragic death. <br/> Chapters VI, VII, VIII and IX study Maseras' narrative corpus which is divided into four stages based on his ideological and aesthetic evolution and the biographical and historical-cultural context. Also described are the lines of thought and the formal criteria of each period. Each chapter begins with an introduction which generically studies the thought, the literary sources and the aesthetic and thematic elements from each stage of his production. After this each chapter analyzes each one of the author's works from that period, focussing on their ideological, structural and aesthetic aspects and on the treatment they received at the hands of contemporary criticism. <br/>The thesis establishes Maseras' thought and aesthetic position in each work and in each stage of his narrative production, taking into account the Catalan and European literary context in each case.

La Tesis Doctoral es un estudio de todos los aspectos relacionados con el teatro comercial en la ciudad de Murcia desde finales del siglo XVI hasta el siglo XVIII. En ella se aportan datos sobre los corrales de comedias, actores y compañías de teatro en época aurisecular, además de hacer un recorrido por la festividad del Corpus Christi en Murcia. El primer espacio escénico que existió en Murcia en los albores del barroco fue uno de los patios del Hospital de Nuestra Señora de Gracia y Buen Suceso. Se hicieron representaciones desde el año 1593 hasta 1609. En 1609 se construyó el teatro del Toro, una gran casa de comedias de propiedad municipal que pretendía dar abasto a la demanda de teatro de la ciudad. En 1633 el teatro se trasladó a un edificio en la Plaza de Santa Catalina de esta ciudad, hasta 1636 que la casa de comedias del Toro vuelve a funcionar hasta el siglo XIX. Murcia quedó inserta en itinerarios que utilizaban los comediantes cuando recorrían las parte sur-levante de la península. En Murcia representaron las compañías más prestigiosas de la época.<br>The doctoral thesis is a research on every aspect related to the commercial theatre in Murcia city from the end of 16th century to the 18th century. The research provides with information about corrales de comedias (former play houses, theatres), actors and theatre companies at the Golden Age as well as a look through Corpus Christi feast in Murcia.At the dawn of Baroque the first place for performing in Murcia was a courtyard in Nuestra Señora de Gracia y Buen Suceso Hospital where some performances took place from 1593 to 1609. In 1609 the Toro theatre was built; it was a big municipal play house which tried to meet the demand for theatre in the city. In 1633 performances were moved to a building in Santa Catalina square in Murcia, but in 1636 the Toro theatre reopened and worked until the 19th century.Murcia city was a permanent performing spot for actors and companies when touring the south and east of the country.

La tesi que presentem és una descripció rigorosa de la vida escènica de la ciutat de Tarragona durant el període comprès entre els anys 1864 i 1880. De manera més concreta, posa especial atenció a les manifestacions del teatre català partint d’una aproximació polièdrica al fenomen de l’espectacle. En aquest sentit, s’allunya d’una visió centrada exclusivament en dramaturg/text i el seu context històric i literari i analitza, a més, els espais que empararen els espectacles, així com els intèrprets que van donar-los vida. La metodologia seguida ha estat, més enllà de la recerca en fons històrics, biblioteques i altres centres de documentació, el buidatge sistemàtic dels fons hemerogràfics locals, material bàsic en el capítol dedicat a l’anàlisi de la cartellera. L’objectiu principal que perseguim és ubicar la realitat teatral tarragonina vuitcentista dins de la realitat teatral del conjunt de l’àrea catalanòfona, i entendre com es van rebre i assimilar diversos canvis en la dinàmica espectacular del Dinou. A diferència de la resta d’àmbits estudiats, el període temporal de l’anàlisi de la cartellera és volgudament restringit. Aprofundeix en un dels estadis més significatius del procés pel qual els escriptors i, en especial, els dramaturgs van assumir que el català no només era llengua de tribu, sinó que també era llengua de polis, prenent els mots de Joaquim Mallafrè. Així, a partir de la dècada dels 60 i amb el detonant de l’èxit de Frederic Soler als teatres d’estiu del passeig de Gràcia (1864), es depassa l’estadi del sainet cap a formes dramàtiques de més volada (BACARDIT I GIBERT 2003: 108) i es consolida una cultura popular en català.<br>La tesis es una descripción rigurosa de la vida escénica de la ciudad de Tarragona durante el periodo comprendido entre los años 1864 y 1880. De manera más concreta, pone especial atención a las manifestaciones del teatro catalán partiendo de una aproximación poliédrica al fenómeno del espectáculo. En este sentido, se aleja de una visión centrada exclusivamente en el dramaturgo/texto y su contexto histórico y literario y analiza, además, los espacios que ampararon los espectáculos, así como los intérpretes que les dieron vida. La metodología seguida ha sido, más allá de la investigación en fondos históricos, bibliotecas y otros centros de documentación, el vaciado sistemático de los fondos hemerográficos locales, material básico en el capítulo dedicado al análisis de la cartelera. El objetivo principal que perseguimos es ubicar la realidad teatral decimonónica de Tarragona dentro de la realidad teatral del conjunto del área catalanohablante, i entender cómo se recibieron y asimilaron diferentes cambios en la dinámica espectacular del siglo XIX. A diferencia del resto de ámbitos estudiados, el periodo temporal del análisis de la cartelera está restringido a propósito. Profundiza en uno de los estadios más significativos del proceso por el cual los escritores y, en especial, los dramaturgos, asumieron que el catalán no solo era lengua de tribu, sino que también era lengua de polis. Así, a partir de la década de los 60 y con el detonante del éxito de Frederic Soler en los teatros de verano del Barcelona (1864), se superó el estadio del sainete hacia formas dramáticas de más envergadura y se consolidó una cultura popular en catalán. En definitiva, esta tesis es una contribución al estudio de la escena decimonónica catalana que parte de este estadio concreto y de una perspectiva local, y que se amplía a lo largo del siglo y el territorio.<br>This thesis is an accurate description of the theatrical life in Tarragona between 1964 and 1880. More specifically, it focuses on the Catalan dramatic performances starting from a polyhedric approach to the artistic event. Accordingly, our vision is not centred exclusively on the playwright/play and its historical and literary context, but also analyses the spaces in which they were performed and the performers who brought them to life. The methodology followed for the study, beyond the research on historical collections, libraries and other documentation centres, has been the systematic extraction of the local newspaper archives, fundamental data in the chapter regarding the billboard analysis. The major objective of this study is to place the Tarragona’s nineteenth-century theatrical life within the context of the theatrical life in the whole Catalan-speaking area and understand how different changes on the performing arts during this period were received and assimilated. In contrast with the rest of the studied subjects, the billboard analysis covers a deliberately limited period of time. This part goes more deeply into the phase of the process in which the writers, and particularly the playwrights, assumed the fact that the Catalan language was not just language of the tribe but also city language, in the words of Joaquim Mallafrè. Thus, since the 1860s and alongside the tipping point of Frederic Soler’s success in the Passeig de Gràcia summer theatres (1864), the sainet stage is left behind for higher dramatic forms (BACARDIT I GIBERT 2003: 108) and a folk culture in Catalan language is consolidated.

Abstract:
This thesis presents the critical edition of the chapters from 1 to 100 of the "Llibre de les dones" by Francesc Eiximenis. This book was large disseminated, as evidenced by the fact that it has been preserved in six manuscripts and one incunabulum from the 15th century, not to mention the existence of many fragmentary copies. This work was also translated into Spanish and it preserve in seven whole manuscripts, in addition to several partial copies and a version adapted called "Carro de las donas" (1542). It was also subjected to a critical edition by Frank Naccarato in 1981. Although it allowed the contemporary reader to know the book, only three of the seven manuscripts were taken into account. At present, there are still mysteries to solve, such as the date of writing of the book, the reasons why Eiximenis devoted it to the countess of Prades and the textual affiliation of the preserved manuscripts. This thesis is aimed at filling the gaps around the study of this work<br>Aquesta tesi presenta l'edició crítica dels cent primers capítols del "Llibre de les dones" de Francesc Eiximenis, una de les seves obres de major difusió, com demostra el fet que s’ha conservat en sis manuscrits i un incunable del segle XV, sense comptar amb l’existència de nombroses còpies fragmentàries. L’obra també fou traduïda al castellà i se’n conserven set testimonis íntegres, a més de diverses còpies parcials i una versió adaptada intitulada "Carro de las donas"(1542). El 1981 l’obra fou objecte d’una edició crítica per part de Frank Naccarato que, malgrat donar a conèixer l’obra al lector modern, només prenia en consideració tres dels set testimonis. A més a més, encara avui queden algunes incògnites per resoldre, com ara la data de redacció del llibre, els motius pels quals Eiximenis li va dedicar a la comtessa de Prades i la filiació textual dels testimonis conservats. The PhD entitled "Troubadour Lyrics in the Crown of Aragon: case study" offers a detailed census of all those troubadours for whom a link has been proposed with the Crown of Aragon, with fundamental information about the reigns of contact –those who welcomed and promoted, precisely, the Occitan lyric; that is, the reigns of Alphonse I the Chaste, Peter I the Catholic, James I the Conqueror and Peter II the Great-, the compositions that underpin their inclusion in this census and data related to their own pieces. Some issues that exemplify the Occitan case in the Crown of Aragon, and which we have defined as "cases", are, for example, the analysis of the "Catalan" word in lyrical troubadour, an analysis in courtesy terms, more than not in geographic terms. Undoubtedly, the figure of Peire Vidal as the greatest exponent of the lyrical in the times of Alphonse I is one of the most important cases in this PhD, given the magnitude of his work and the long distance that the same troubadour does all around most significant courts of the moment. In this sense, we offer a proposal for the dating of his work related to the Crown of Aragon and, at the same time, a re-reading of it. Finally, the last case exposed to the PhD deals with the figure of Peter II the Great, as a patron. In this case, the image of the monarch, often in the shadow of the golden age of his father, James I, has not been appropriately valued or, at least, his work as a patron was not considered, as we said, which could well resemble that of his great-grandfather, Alphonse I the Chaste<br>La tesi titulada “Lírica trobadoresca a la Corona d’Aragó: estudi de casos” ofereix un cens detallat de tots aquells trobadors per als quals s’ha proposat algun vincle amb la Corona d’Aragó, amb informació fonamental sobre els regnats de contacte –aquells que van acollir i promoure, precisament, la lírica occitana; això és, els regnats d’Alfons I el Cast, Pere I el Catòlic, Jaume I el Conqueridor i Pere II el Gran-, les composicions que fonamenten llur inclusió en aquest cens i dades relatives a les pròpies peces. Dissertação de Mestrado em Estudos da Criança - Área de Especialização em Análise Textual e Literatura Infantil<br>A presente dissertação pretende observar o modo como se efectiva o compromisso entre a memória dos contos maravilhosos da tradição dos Irmãos Grimm e de Hans Christian Andersen com a contemporaneidade de uma voz que revisita esse universo mítico. Ana Saldanha assume-se como a consciência que traz ao agora o ontem, presentificando temáticas e valores já ditos, prometidos ou sugeridos nesse tempo de outrora. A imaginação criativa da autora filtra, num novo olhar em efeito caleidoscópico, personagens, dotadas de uma invulgar consistência humana, espaços; ambientes; temáticas e valores e, apesar de beber nos textos do passado linhas ideotemáticas, inova pela sugestão de uma realidade muito próxima das vivências quotidianas de uma potencial entidade receptora juvenil. A novidade do seu relato não passa somente pelo que diz ou sugere, mas pela forma como o faz. A utilização de uma linguagem coloquial sem constrangimentos e de um registo apelativo, vivo e espontâneo capta a participação e estimula a cooperação dos adolescentes, seu destinatário preferencial. Ana Saldanha is the consciousness, the voice that transports and refreshes themes and values already revealed a long time ago. With a new kaleidoscopic outcome, the author’s creative imagination filters characters gifted with an unusual human consistency, spaces, atmospheres, themes and values. However, despite being soaked with influences from the past, she portrays modernism by conveying a reality so authentic that teenagers easily identify with. The uniqueness of her narrative is discovered not only in what she says and suggests but also in the way she carries it out. Through her application of colloquial, appealing, vivacious and spontaneous language she captures teenagers – her main audience – participation and stimulates their cooperation. When crossing the threshold into the imaginary world created by the text, they dive into an often witty and amusing universe of affections and intense human relationships. With this amalgamation between past and present, memory and innovation are woven together like an array of possible interpretations as far as themes, imagery and symbolism are concerned. Dissertação de Mestrado em estudos da Criança - Área de Especialização em Análise Textual e Literatura Infantil<br>As obras metaficcionais tendencialmente procuram ensinar ao leitor algo acerca da literatura e do seu funcionamento, ajudando-o a reflectir acerca das formas de interagir com o texto, prestando atenção à informação não explicitada. Graças a este procedimento técnicodiscursivo, o leitor aprende a ler de forma não ingénua, adquirindo competências de tipo crítico que lhe permitirão olhar os textos na pluralidade dos seus contextos e funções, incluindo também a função ideológica (Freire,1987). São estes saberes que, segundo a investigação mais recente (Moss,1992; Waugh,1995; Ortega,2003), constituem instrumentos úteis para o desenvolvimento de um leitor mais competente. Tendo estas obras um carácter desconstrutor e lúdico, pareceunos pertinente associá-las a um Programa de Leitura Fundamentado na Literatura (Tompkins & McGee,1993; Huck & Hickman,2001; Galda & Cullinan,1998; Yopp & Yopp,2001), programa presentemente desenvolvido nos Estados Unidos, Canadá e Brasil, e no qual língua e literatura são perspectivadas como actividades integradas e importantes na formação de leitores críticos e competentes. Desta feita, foi nossa intenção elaborar actividades didácticas a partir de obras metaficcionais seleccionadas, tendo por base as propostas do Programa de Leitura Fundamentado na Literatura. De seguida, implementamos estas actividades em contexto sala de aula, numa escolas do 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico, situadas na área de influência do Instituto de Estudos da Criança – Universidade do Minho. Por fim, procedemos a uma análise qualitativa dos conteúdos, métodos, materiais e resultados da implementação deste projecto buscando perceber as formas como as obras de cariz metaficcional contribuem para o desenvolvimento de leitores mais críticos e competentes.<br>The metafictional texts seek to teach reader something on the literature and its functioning, helping him to reflect about the ways of interacting with them, paying attention to the information that it is not directly explained. Thanks to this discursive technical procedure the reader learns to read in a way that it is not naive, acquiring critical skills that will enable him to look at the plurality of contexts and functions of the texts, including the ideological function (Freire, 1987). These are the knowledges that, according to the most recent research (Moss,1992; Waugh,1995; Ortega,2003), are useful tools for the development of a more competent reader. Being these texts deconstructive, it seemed to us relevant to associate them to a Reading Program Based on Literature (Tompkins & McGee,1993; Huck & Hickman,2001; Galda & Cullinan,1998; Yopp & Yopp,2001), currently developed in the United States of America, Canada and Brazil, and in which language and literature are considered as integrated activities, important in the formation of critical and competent readers. So, it is our intention to construct activities on selected metafictional texts based on the suggestions of a Reading Program Based on Literature. Then we intend to implement these activities in a classroom context, in an Elementary School, located in the area of influence of Instituto de Estudos da Criança – Universidade do Minho. Finally, we would make a qualitative analysis of the contents, methods, materials and results of the implementation of this project seeking to realize how metafictional texts can contribute to the development of more competent and critical readers.

Tese de Doutoramento em Estudos da Criança - Ramo de Conhecimento de Literatura Infantil<br>Nossa pesquisa constitui-se em estudo de caso comparativo realizado em 4 (quatro) escolas públicas de Portugal e do Brasil, em que utilizamos como instrumentos de coleta de dados: a entrevista, a observação e os questionários. Os sujeitos investigados são constituídos por professores e alunos do 3º ano do ciclo inicial de estudo. Para a análise dos dados, partimos da metodologia de Análise Proposicional do Discurso - APD, em que analisamos proposições dos sujeitos organizadas em matrizes analíticas de acordo com os temas abordados nos instrumentos de coleta de dados. Para essa análise tomamos por base teórica idéias de autores como: Cerrillo (2000), Cervera (1991), Mendoza (1999), Colomer (1998), Azevedo (2006), Zilberman (2003), Shavit (1986), Held (1980), Silva (1986), entre outros, que vêem a leitura enquanto compreensão e ampliação dos sentidos do mundo, da vida, do ser, e possibilitadora de expansão do conhecimento, fazendo com que o leitor seja capaz de interagir com o texto, ampliando e modificando o seu mundo, bem como também a necessidade da expansão da imaginação da criança na escola, e a importância do fantástico e do maravilhoso na literatura infantil. Além da Análise Proposicional do Discurso-APD, também realizamos a análise documental de registros, leis e programas em torno da leitura na escola dos dois países. A análise dos dados coletados possibilitou-nos perceber que existe um trabalho voltado para a leitura de literatura infantil nas escolas investigadas. No entanto, a forma e as atividades em torno da formação do leitor restringem a possibilidade de expansão da imaginação, e a presença do fantástico e do maravilhoso na literatura infantil ainda se encontra aquém da perspectiva e das expectativas do aluno/leitor na escola, visto que esse já traz consigo, geralmente, uma presença marcante dos contos em sua vida, faltando à escola promover a interação da obra literária infantil e o universo infantil.<br>The following project is a case study comparison performed in four public schools located in Portugal and Brazil. Questionnaires, interviews and observations were the main means of obtaining the data. Investigated subjects consisted of teachers and students that were part of the project since the opening cycle of study initiated 3 years ago. Data analysis is based on Propositional Speech Methodology Analysis, which means that collected propositions are organized in analytical matrices according to the topics addressed in the instruments for data collection. The analysis are based on theoretical ideas of authors such as: Cerrillo (2000), Cervera (1991), Mendoza (1999), Colomer (1998), Azevedo (2006), Zilberman (2003), Shavit (1986), Held (1980), Silva (1986) among others, who recognize reading to be important for comprehension as well as extension of the senses to the world. Additionally, making the reader truly interact with the text allows for expansion of knowledge, broadening and modifying children’s world as well as their imagination. Besides Propositional Speech Methodology Analysis, documental analysis of records, laws and programs around reading at school in the two countries were also performed. The collected data allowed us to realize that there is a strong work dedicated to reading children's literature in schools. However, the form of activities and or the activities themselves, around reader’s formation, seem not to adequately enhance advancement of imagination and or appreciation of the amazing and wonderful children’s literature.

Relatório de estágio de mestrado em Ensino do 1.º e 2.º Ciclos do Ensino Básico<br>O presente documento constitui um relatório reflexivo de uma intervenção pedagógica, integrado na Unidade Curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º e 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, que se centra na temática: “A literatura de ficção histórica para a construção do conhecimento histórico”. No âmbito desta investigação, o objetivo central é perceber de que forma a literatura de ficção histórica contribui para a construção do conhecimento histórico do aluno. Neste sentido, procedeu-se à realização de um conjunto de atividades partindo da interpretação e exploração das narrativas ficcionais, que culminou na construção de narrativas, que foram o objeto de análise primordial para o presente projeto de intervenção. As obras de literatura de ficção histórica utilizadas intitulam-se, Era uma vez um rei conquistador de José Jorge Letria (1.º ciclo) e O Tesouro de Manuel António Pina (2.º ciclo). O projeto foi implementado numa turma do 4.º ano e numa turma do 6.º ano, ambas do mesmo Agrupamento de Escolas situado no centro de Braga. O presente projeto de intervenção baseia-se numa abordagem de ensino – aprendizagem construtivista operacionalizado no modelo de aula-oficina, pois o aluno é o construtor do seu próprio conhecimento, nomeadamente, do conhecimento histórico. A metodologia centra-se na investigação-ação, pois contribui para uma efetiva articulação entre a teoria e prática, e funciona como um meio potenciador para o desenvolvimento profissional do professor-investigador. Para a recolha dos dados foram usados várias técnicas e instrumentos, um questionário inicial, com um conjunto de questões para o levantamento das ideias/conhecimentos prévios sobre os conteúdos temáticos a serem trabalhados e de propostas de várias tarefas, entre as quais a construção de narrativas (duas em cada ciclo) sobre conteúdos de História abordados em cada ano escolar (4.º ano e 6.º ano) trabalhados a partir das narrativas de ficção histórica em articulação com o recursos a outras fontes Procedeu-se a uma análise qualitativa das construções de narrativas dos alunos, sujeitas a uma análise indutiva, que posteriormente foram categorizadas por níveis de progressão. O presente projeto permitiu concluir que os alunos dos dois ciclos (1.º e 2.º ciclo) constroem conhecimento histórico através da exploração de obras literárias de ficção histórica, distinguindo nestas o ficcional do real, e integrando significativos contributos destas obras nas suas narrativas, não substituindo no entanto as evidências produzidas a partir do cruzamento de outras fontes diversas. As obras de ficção histórica revelaram-se recursos importantes na construção do conhecimento histórico.<br>The present document is a reflective report of a pedagogical intervention, integrated in the curriculum unit of Supervised Teaching Practice which is part of the Masters in Education for the 1st and 2nd Cycles of Primary School, which focuses on the theme: "The historical fiction literature for the construction of historical knowledge”. Within this research, the main objective is to understand how the historical fiction literature contributes to the student’s construction of historical knowledge. In this sense, it was carried out a range of activities based on the interpretation and development of fictional narratives, which culminated in the construction of narratives that will be the primary object of analysis for this intervention project. The literary works of historical fiction used are called, Era uma vez um rei conquistador from José Jorge Letria (1st Cycle) and O Tesouro from Manuel António Pina (2nd Cycle). The project was implemented in a class of the 4th grade and 6th grade, both of the same group of schools located in the center of Braga. This intervention project is based on an constructivist teaching-learning approach operationalized in a class-workshop model, because the student is the builder of his own knowledge, including historical knowledge. The methodology focuses on research-action as it contributes to an effective link between theory and practice, and works as an enhancer for the professional development of the teacher-researcher. For data collection were used various techniques and instruments, an initial questionnaire with a set of questions for the survey of ideas/previous knowledge about the thematic content to be worked out and proposals for various tasks, including the narratives construction (two in each cycle) on content of history covered in each school year (4th grade and 6th grade) worked from the historical fiction narratives in conjunction with funds from other sources. Was conducted a qualitative analysis of student’s construction of narratives, subject to an inductive analysis, and were subsequently categorized by levels of progression. This project concluded that the students of the two cycles (1st and 2nd Cycles) construct historical knowledge through the exploration of historical fiction literary, distinguishing the real from the fictional, and integrating significant contributions of these works in their narratives not replacing however the evidence produced from the crossing of several other sources. The historical fiction works proved to be important resources in the construction of historical knowledge

Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the orthographic and phonetic systems of two independent 17th century translations of the J.A. Comeniusʼ paper into Slovak language. Analysis of the text revealed a close connection between the translation language and the Czech language. It presents a significant number of bohemisms and the degree of their use varies significantly, and some of them are even used absolutely consistently. At the same time, the translation language has an amazing similarity, although one of them is more conservative in terms of preserving elements of Czech origin.

Introdução: O feijão-caupi (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp.) popularmente conhecida como feijão-de-corda é uma cultura de grande importância para a população da região Nordeste do Brasil. É o alimento básico de milhares de pessoas, sendo considerado uma boa fonte de proteínas, vitaminas e minerais, dentre eles, o zinco. O zinco tem como função no nosso organismo: fortalecimento do sistema imunológico, atividade antioxidante e estimulante do desenvolvimento e crescimento. O zinco está sendo estudado na biofortificação, visando melhorar sua qualidade nutricional via melhoramento genético. Objetivos: Avaliar o teor de zinco no grão de populações F2 de feijão-caupi. Materiais e Métodos: Foram avaliadas 91 populações F2 do cruzamento BRS Xiquexique x MNC01-631F-15. As análises do teor de zinco foram realizadas no laboratório de Bromatologia da Embrapa Meio-Norte, em Teresina-PI. As amostras foram trituradas em moinho de bolas de zircônio para obter uma farinha, que depois foram submetidas à digestão nitro perclórica e leitura em espectrofotômetro de absorção atômica de chama. Foram realizadas análises de variância e as médias agrupadas pelo teste de Scott-Knott (p&lt;0,05). Por meio do software Genes, foram realizadas as análises estatísticas. Resultados: O teste de Scott-Knott discriminou as médias das populações F2 em cinco grupos. O grupo A incluiu seis populações F2 (39, 48, 58, 77, 79 e 82), as de maiores médias, variando de 67,46 a 76,41 mg kg-1. O grupo B e o grupo C incluíram 45,05% e 38,46%, respectivamente das populações F2 e apresentaram médias para o teor de zinco intermediárias. O grupo E, alocou apenas as populações F2 27 e 93, com 35,64 e 30,33 mg kg-1, respectivamente, constituindo-se nas menores médias. Conclusão: As populações F2 resultantes do cruzamento BRS Xiquexique x MNC01-631F-15 apresentam alta variabilidade para o teor de zinco nos grãos, com as populações 39, 48, 58, 77, 79 e 82, apresentando grande potencial para gerar progênies biofortificadas em ciclos posteriores de seleção.

Aims: To analyze pattern of distant failure, site of metastases, number of metastases and duration in patient with carcinoma of cervix treated with concomitant chemoradiation. Materials and Methods: From May 2011 to December 2015, 73 patients of carcinoma cervix who treated with radical treatment (concomitant chemoradiation followed by 3 session of HDR brachytherapy) with distant metastases presented at Department of Radiotherapy-II, Pt BDS PGIMS, Rohtak were evaluated retrospectively. Results: Most of the female with metastases were in age group of 50-59 years (82%), 12% were in age group &gt;60 and 6% were in &lt; 50 year age group. Initial stage of presentation was 40% (29/73), 48% (35/73) and 12% (9/73) in stage II, III and IVA respectively. Out of which 93% had squamous cell carcinoma histology and 7% were having adenocarcinoma at time of presentation. Among them 49/73 (67%) had solitary metastases, 19/73 (26%) had two metastatic sites and 5/73 (7%) had multiple metastatic sites. Commonest site of distant metastases was paraaortic lymphnodes in 40% of cases, followed by liver, lungs, brains, cervical lymph nodes and one case of cutaneous metastases was also seen. Paraaortic lymphnodes, liver and lung metastases present in maximum number of patient with multiple metastases. Salvage chemotherapy given in 51 cases, palliative radiotherapy (30 Gy or 20 Gy) in 37 cases whereas in 5% of cases single session with 8 Gy was given. Conclusion: A regular and long term follow up of patients with carcinoma of cervix is necessary to detect distant metastases. With early and proper diagnosis and treatment a better outcome could be achieved.

Abstract:
The ACL (IL-Automated Coagulation Laboratory from the Fisher Scientific Group) is the first microcentrifugal analyzer incorporating 2 reading channels, a coagulometric channel consisting of a laser light source and a chromogenic channel consisting of a halogen light source. We have evaluated the instrument for precision and accuracy using different reagents for both clotting and the chromogenic assays. Replicate samples were run in both the PT and APTT modes using 4 different reagents. The reagent with the least particles had the greatest precision. The mean values for APTTs and PTs using a particle free reagent were 68.7 ± .83“ for the APTT (C.V. 1.2%), and 30.2 ± .33” (C.V. 1.1%) for the PT. A fibrinogen assay measured on the ACL (delta light scatter of the prothrombin time) was compared to the Clause fibrinogen assay in three population groups: the adult, the newborn and patients receiving thrombolytic therapy. The correlation for the adult and newborn was good with r values of .911 (n = 51) and .96 (n = 36) respectively. The thrombolytic therapy group had poor correlation r = .32. Antithrombin III (ATIII) and a2 antiplasmin (AP) assays were measured on the ACL using IIs chromogenic method. These were compared to an ATIII chromogenic method (Kahle) using a Gilford SBA 300 analyzer and α2 AP assay using a Protopath (Dade). The correlations were ATIII, r=.95 and α2 AP, r=.82. The plasminogen method of Friberger was adapted to the ACL giving us comparable results to those read off the Gilford SBA 300 (r=.93). With the introduction of the ACL we have been able to: 1) reduce the technical time required for assays by one half; 2) reduce reagent costs by one half to three-quarters; 3) reduce the amount of plasma required for screening tests by half the volume, which has greatly facilitated neonatal coagulation testing
