Compound 3-amino-N-[4-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-4-morpholino-1H-indazole-1-carboxamide has been synthesised by condensation of 1-chloro-4-isocyanato-2-(trifluoromethyl)benzene with 4-morpholino-1H-indazol-3-amine, which was prepared from 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile by amination with morpholine and then cyclisation with hydrazine hydrate. The crystal structure of the title compound was determined. In addition, the compound possesses a distinct inhibitory capacity against proliferation of the A549 and BGC-823 cancer cell lines.

3-Amino-4-morpholino-1H-indazol-1-yl(3-fluorophenyl)methanone was synthesised by condensation of 3-fluorobenzoic acid with 4-morpholino-1H-indazol-3-amine, which was prepared from 2,6-difluorobenzonitrile by amination with morpholine and then cyclisation with hydrazine hydrate. The molecular structure was tested by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Preliminary biological tests showed that the compound possesses distinct inhibition on the proliferation of A549, BGC-823 and HepG-2 cancer cell lines.

A new phenolic glycoside, 7-(4- O- β-D-glucopyranosyl, 3-methoxyphenyl)-6,8-dihydrofuro[3′,4′:7,8]naphtho[1,2-d][1,3]dioxol-10(7H)-one, named malconenoside A (1), was isolated from Bupleurum malconense Shan et Y. Li . The structure, including absolute configurations, was assigned by using spectroscopic methods and ECD calculation. Biological activities of compound 1 towards human cancer cells (HepG2, BGC-823, and A549) were evaluated. The most sensitive two cell lines were HepG2 and BGC823, in which the IC50 values of compound 1 were 8.70 and 16.94 μM, respectively.

A new lignan glycoside, (-)-(8 S, 8′ R)-thujastandin-4- O-β-D-glucopyranoside (1), together with fourteen known lignanoids (2–15) and one coumarin (16) were isolated from the branches and leaves of Chamaecyparis obtusa var. breviramea f. crippsii. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic and spectrometric analysis. Compound 16 exhibited cytotoxicity against A549, BGC-823 and Hela cell lines with IC50 values of 25.9, 20.9 and 18.5 μM, respectively.

A series of 1 H-thieno[2,3-c]chromen-4(2 H)-one derivatives were synthesised through Knoevenagel condensation of substituted flavanones with thiazolidine-2,4-dione in ethanol in the presence of piperidine. The cyclic stability of superelasticity in compression in [001]B2-oriented Ti49.3Ni50.7 single crystals is considered in this paper. The crystals were aged at 823 K for 1.0 h in air and helium. It has been experimentally shown that a two-layered surface thin film, consisting of a Ni-free oxide layer and a Ni-rich sublayer, appears after the oxidation at 823 K in air.
