Dabashan Thrust and Fold Belt is situated in the transfer zone between Qinling Orogen and Sichuan Basin, where multi-generation calcite veins were developed. Two kinds of veins, bedding-parallel and fracture-filled veins, were collected for analyses of rare-earth elements (REE), samarium-neodymium and strontium isotopes. The total REE contents of the calcites from the bedding-parallel vein are much higher than those from fracture-filled veins and are rich in light REE (LREE). The paper presents new geochemical data of the basic to intermediate volcanic rocks from the Hronic unit. The studied rocks are strongly altered and the primary mineral composition (clinopyroxenes, amphiboles, spinels, biotites, and plagioclases) is preserved only in some localities. The clinopyroxene corresponds to augite and primary amphiboles to pargasites. Spinels have a chemical composition similar to spinels from volcanic rocks. Strontium isotope ratios (87Sr/86Sr) were applied to investigate provenance of the Bronze Age population buried at cemetery in Gogolin-Strzebniów. The study used 12 samples: two human enamel samples from inhumation graves and ten samples of petrous part of temporal bone from cremation burials. Baseline information on the local Sr isotope composition was established on geological data. The human samples of ten individuals yielded a quite narrow range of Sr isotope signatures, from 0.7112 to 0.7121 (Table 1; Fig. 1).
