Abstract CC-91516 (also called CC0776314), a selective and potent inhibitor of ERK1/2 and NLK, was discovered via a phenotypic screen of a kinase-focused library for compounds that synergize with mTOR kinase inhibitor CC-223 to induce apoptosis in combination with CC-223. This paper focuses on Honig’s critical reworking of the concept of inclination and her concept of “slow regicide”. With “slow regicide” Honig describes a performative critique of the violence of the patriarchal order. However, what Honig underestimates, I argue, is that this intervention must itself be non-violent if it is not to reinstate patriarchal violence. My suggestion is that paying closer attention to the performativity of inclination shows how “slow regicide” enables a non-violent refusal in which the normativity of patriarchy is frustrated and fails.

It examines the meaning and the function of expatriation and how it relates to the search for personal identity for both American writers by looking at the intertext of their Parisian memoirs. It shows how these transatlantic authors strategically use expatriate space as a laboratory to reconstruct personal identity as individuals and as artists via the high level of intellectualism self-exile stimulates in a social context characterized by alienation.

This study examined the impact of cooking, Co-60 gamma irradiation (5 kGy and 10 kGy) and combined irradiation (10 kGy) and cooking treatments on the amino acid profile and physicochemical properties of African locust bean (Parkia biglobosa) seeds, as well as the quality of the seed oil. The treated and untreated (control) seeds were mechanically dehulled and milled into flour using an attrition mill, and subsequently analysed for chemical composition, amino acid profile, functional properties and quality of the seed oil.
