Abstract:

By applying the technology of composite ecological floating bed, a research was conducted to compare the eutrophic pollutant removal effects in domestic sewage among different filler proportions under static conditions. The results of proportion comparison experiments showed that the proportion of Plant: Filler = 1:1 had the best effects on NH4+-N with the average removal rates as 97.93%, while as Plants: Filler = 1:1/2 had the best effects on TN and TP with the average removal rates of 89.05% and 91.55% respectively.

We present the first measurement of the left-right cross-section asymmetry (A LR ) in Z-boson production observed at the SLAC Linear Collider. In 1992 the SLD detector recorded 10 224 Z events produced by the collision of longitudinally polarized electrons with an unpolarized positron beam at a center-of-mass energy of 91.55 GeV. The average electron beam polarization during the run was (22.4 ± 0.6)%. Field population of Spodoptera litura from tomato ( resistant to the majority of the conventional insecticide molecules) were subjected to the in vivo toxicity of spinetoram 12 SC to assess whether cross resistance exists or not. Untreated larvae of both field and laboratory strains showed no mortality during 48 hours of feeding. After 48 hours of feeding on spinetoram 12 SC treated leaves, LC50s of field larvae were 0.28, 0.93, 3.71 and 7.11 ppm for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th instars of S. litura respectively.
