Abstract:
The main objective of this thesis is to develop a detailed entrepreneurial plan for the activities of a limited liability company specialised on providing the services of accommodation and wine tasting in a wine cellar in Znojmo. The first part of this work is concerned with the entrepreneurial activity of small companies, with their position on the market and their contribution to the economy. Furthermore, this work is written in the format of an entrepreneurial plan and contains all the requirements in order for it to serve to internal and external users. A business plan which includes a thorough analysis of the competition on the market, a marketing and a financial plan, a description of the company, the company's key personnel and a list of the offered services, allows a company to gain a broad overview of the viability and potential success of its activities. Three distinct scenarios of development are used for the estimate of the future revenues. All the aforementioned points are summarised in a numerical form in the financial plan, which includes expected incomes and expenses, balance sheets, expected statements of cash flow and the rate of return.

The goal of this Master's Thesis is to create business plan including draft of company strategy and financial plan and to assess viability of the business plan. The Thesis is divided in two parts: theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part maps legislation framework of company establishment in the Czech Republic with regard to limited liability companies, practical activities related to company establishment as creation of business plan, establishment budget and assessment of business activities. Last part is focused on company strategy. The practical part is focused on business plan of fictive company BEZLEPO CHLÉB s.r.o., which is involved in producing mainly gluten-free bakery products. The last part shows financial plan for the next five years including three options. Lately there is assessed the feasibility of the project.

The goal of this master's thesis is to elaborate a business plan of a newly established limited liability company - Reclu s.r.o. that plans to carry on an Italian restaurant, La Bisteccheria, located in Prague 10. The business plan should serve for verification of this project's feasibility. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part introduces the definition and types of small and middle enterprises and also explains the terms that generally relate to business activities. Further, the final section of the theoretical part includes a detailed description, purpose, implication and structure of the business plan. The practical part of this thesis focuses on the business plan of Reclu s.r.o. itself including all the essential sections. The fundamental components of the business plan of Reclu s.r.o. comprise a description of the company, its key representatives and the product. The business plan further contains environment analysis, marketing, sale and HR strategy. An estimated financial plan for the first five years of the business activities constitutes the final section of the thesis and is elaborated for three different scenarios of potential enterprise's development: realistic, optimistic and pessimistic option.

The study presents a business plan for agriculture company Výkrm Tagrea s.r.o. The plan should ideally confirm that the company's prospectus is viable and should also assist a potential strategic partner in assessing the company. The study consists of two parts. The theoretical section is divided into several chapters, which describe the structure of the prospectus, its users and the reasons for its creation. The practical section focuses on the prospectus in a company that was set up in order to enter the business of building poultry farms. It also analyzes the background of the investment, the current situation in the field and the various processes in the company. The conclusion presents evaluation of the prospectus' effectiveness, including potential risks and proposals aimed at minimizing such risks.

Without proper preparation and financial planning, it is likely that these Americans, and many more, will be unable to reach these goals as well as retire comfortably. Many Americans are overwhelmed with the immense amount of financial information, tools and resources, and as a consequence are unable to plan their finances efficiently and effectively. Americans need a better understanding as to which financial tools are most relevant to their goals, and the proper procedure to initiate a comprehensive financial plan for themselves. Understanding the benefits and drawbacks to each of the components of a comprehensive financial plan, and how they relate and complement each other, of a financial plan will greatly improve the numbers of Americans who are easing their way to a more financially predictable future.

This project analyzes retirement investment options currently available to all US service members. Specifically, it reviews eligibility requirements to participate in several investment vehicles, including military pensions, the Uniformed Services Thrift Savings Plan (TSP), traditional and Roth IRA's, annuities and Certificates of Deposit (CD's). Analysis of three notional service member profiles reveals the projected returns with retirement investment options. The information in this report is intended for discussion and initial planning purposes only. It is designed to help service members understand a general course of action that can help meet retirement objectives.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to determine the success rate of business plan proposals submitted at selected financial institutions. In the context of this study, selected financial institutions refer to the four main retail banks of South Africa, namely ABSA, First National Bank, Standard Bank and Nedbank. Face-to-face in-depth interviews were conducted with eleven small business owners from each bank, bringing the total of small business owners interviewed to 44. The interviews were guided by a set of closed-ended and open-ended questions eliciting information from small business owners as to how they draft or develop their business plans. Open-ended questions allowed the respondents to express their opinions and assisted the researcher to seek clarification on the reasons or motivations behind the responses. The research found that the business plans submitted to financial institutions were ineffective as they fell short of elements that should be included in a business plan. This finding was based solely on the small businesses sampled. The results indicate that small business owners need to put in more effort to prepare sound business plans. Small business owners need to take greater care and effort to provide financial institutions with what is essentially required when applying for finance. Good record of accomplishment, good credit record, business expertise or skills, and the availability of collateral and risk capital, are all considered by small business owners to be essential in order to obtain finance. Conversely, lack of risk capital, lack of collateral and poor cash flow, are considered to be barriers to obtaining finance. Small business owners need financial institutions to assist them with their skills development. These include mentorship and training services, a tool to create business plans, an enterprise toolkit, and a model for cash flow. Government incentive schemes are unpopular with small businesses, and as a result, small business owners miss other sources of finance. Financial institutions could do more to improve the situation and to increase the accessibility of finance to the SMME sector. Financial institutions continue to place greater reliance on sound or viable business plans. This is understandable owing to the need to assess repayment ability. Small business owners need to be aware of what information financial institutions require when they assess finance applications. Overall, they should be more prepared when applying for finance.

Abstract:
The main aim of this thesis is to develop a business plan for establishing a multi-purpose fitness center which is subsequently evaluated by investment methods. At the beginning of this work the product itself and the ownership in the company are introduced. It is followed by the analysis of enviroment where customers are dealt with potencional and current competition and suppliers. For the supplier selection multi-criteria decision method by Saatys Method for calculating criteria weights and the method of linear utility function for each variant were applied. Next part focuses on marketing where we deal with marketing mix 4P which is followed by staffing of the entire center. In financial part opening balance sheet and cost incurred at the beginning of business are presented. In the next section two variants realistic and pessimistic are analysed. Each option is adjusted for projected revenue and costs. What follows is the turning point analysis. The last part of the study deals with the SWOT analysis of the project which is followed by enterprise investment project evaluation using static and dynamic methods of investment evaluation.
