Permasalahan tersebut terus berlanjut sampai masa Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar dan Ibnu Taimiyyah. Melihat Allah adalah sebuah permasalahan akal, oleh karena itulah beberapa kelompok dan madzhab saling berbeda pendapat dalam menetapkan persoalan ini, sebagian mereka mengatakan bahwasanya Allah tidak dapat dilihat di dunia dan di akhirat dan sebagian lainnya menetapkan bahwa Allah dapat dilihat ketika di akhirat nanti. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hakekat permasalahan ini melalui kritik Ibnu Taimiyyah terhadap pemikiran Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar tentang melihat Allah dan mengetahui metode apa yang digunakan oleh keduanya.Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan memaparkan argumentasi Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar tentang melihat Allah dan metode analisis dengan menganalisis pemikiran Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar dalam permasalahan tersebut, kemudian menganalisis kritik Ibnu Taimiyyah terhadap argumentasi Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar tentangpermasalahan melihat Allah yang bersumber dari Al-Qur'an dan Al-HadistSetelah melakukan penelitian secara mendalam, peneliti menemukan beberapa metode yang digunakan oleh Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar di dalam membahas akidah yaitu : mengedepankan akal dari pada naql, menjadikan akal sebagai dalil, menolak khabar wahid dan memakai dalil dari ta’wil al kalamiy. Sedangkan metode Ibnu Taimiyyah dalam membahas masalah aqidah yaitu mengedepankan naql dari pada akal, menjadikan khabar wahid sebagai dalil , menolak ta’wil al-kalamiy, dan memakai dalil yang bersumber dari Al-Quran dan Hadist Shahih.

Tulisan ini membahas Maqashid Syariah Prespektif Mu’tazilah dengan mengkaji pemikiran salah satu tokohnya, yaitu Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar dalam kitabnya Tanzīh al-Qur’an ‘an al-Maṭha’in. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang sumber datanya diperoleh dari kepustakaan (Library research). Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, Pada dasarnya, prinsip maqashid Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar sejalan dengan prinsip keadilan Tuhan yang merupakan salah satu asas dasar pandangan Mu’tazilah, yakni wujub al-aslah bagi Allah. salah satu maqasid ‘ammah yang dapat dengan mudah ditemukan dalam penafsirannya adalah bahwa Allah menghendaki perkara paling maslahat, tidak membebani mukallaf di luar kapasitas, serta memberikan kebebasan bagi mukallaf untuk memilih. Sedangkan salah satu maqasid khassah yang dapat dilihat dari penafsirannya, khususnya dalam permasalan pernikahan, adalah bahwa Allah menghendaki manusia untuk menjaga hubungan kekeluargaan serta bersabar terhadap ketidaksukaan tabiat yang terkadang muncul dalam relasi suami istri. Qadhi Abdul Jabbar dalam menentukan maqasid, umumnya mendasarkan kepada akal, kecuali dalam permasalahan ibadah yang dapat diketahui melalui pendengaran atau riwayat.

This study paper will address important aspects of the prophetic biography presented by Judge Abdul-Jabbar in his book Confirmation of Prophecies; He was devoted to report the validity of the Prophet's prophecy through his real-sense miracles and invisible distinctive features about the absentee, as they stated in the Holy Quran or the Prophet's hadith that he followed to show its credibility of historicity. In his book, Judge Abdul-Jabbar has a well-versed culture and an erudite knowledge that he quoted selective contexts from the prophetic biography. Remarkably, all of these contexts did not mention in preceding books written in this manner as a result He has saved them from loss. As well as, he has enriched the biographical preexisting traditions with unprecedented superseding information. Abstract:
The aims of this paper are: (1) to analyze the paradigm of Abi Ubaidah, al-jahizh and Qadhi ‘Abdul Jabbar about the metaphors of The Koran from the historical point of view. (2) to interpret and describe metaphors analytically as one of the aesthetics of language styles in The Koran. This paper applies qualitative approach to discuss the problems as well as library research with comparative and comprehensive analysis method. It means that to know the paradigm of “mufassir” and metaphors in The Koran, the writer should know the similarities and differences among “mufassir' opinions, especially in the interpretation of controversial verses. To obtain the data of those three “mufassir” the writer uses historical approach. Abi Ubaidah and al-Farra’ have a great distribution in revealing the secret of the verses in The Koran, especially the meaning of metaphors. Both “mufassir” are the pioneers and inspirators of the next followers such as Al- Jahizh, Ubnu Qutaibah and Al-Qodhi, ‘Abdul Jabbar. The result of their thoughts will be inherited to the next generation as the medium of streng their belifs . Keywords: Majāz, Sejarah, al-Qur’an Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengkaji cara pandang Abi Ubaidah, al-Jahizh dan al-Qadhi ‘Abdul Jabbar tentang majāz al-Qur’an ditinjau dari perspektif sejarah. (2) menginterpretasi atau mendeskripsikan secara analitis tentang Majāz sebagai salah satu bentuk keindahan gaya bahasa al-Qur’an. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Dan untuk membahas persoalan yang ada dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research), dengan pendekatan metode analisis komprehensif dan komparatif. Artinya, untuk mengetahui cara bergulirnya pandangan para mufassir tentang majāz dalam al-Qur’an, terlebih dahulu harus dilihat segi persamaan dan perbedaan antara dua atau lebih pendapat mereka pada lafazh atau ayat yang diperselisihkan penafsirannya. Untuk mendapatkan data mengenai ketiga tokoh tersebut, digunakan pendekatan sejarah. Abi Ubaidah dan al-Farra’ memiliki andil yang cukup besar dalam menguak rahasia kandungan susunan kalimat baik al-Qur’an maupun bahasa Arab dalam pengertian majāzī-nya. Keduanya merupakan pioner dan pembawa obor bagi generasi selanjutnya seperti al-Jahizh, Ibnu Qutaibah, dan Qadhi ‘Abdul jabbar. Abstract:
This article discusses the debate on the issue of ru'yatullah between Abu Hasan Al-Asy'ari who said that seeing God is something that is possible, this statement was then opposed by Alqadhi Abdul Jabbar he argued that it was something impossible, even though they used the same arguments for their respective opinions, and each of them has an interpretation of the verse. This incident happened because there were no definite arguments about the possibility of seeing God or not in the afterlife. Therefore, the dichotomy between groups in this discussion does not drop the status of infidels for those who disagree with them. This article uses a type of literature review with an aqidah approach and the method used is a descriptive method and an inductive method, and a comparative method to compare the two understandings and reveal some similarities and differences in their understanding. The result is that the researchers found several methods used by Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar in discussing Aqidah, namely prioritizing reason rather than naql, making reason as a proposition, rejecting khabar wahid and using arguments from ta'wil al kalamiy. Meanwhile, the method of Abu Hasan Al-Asy'ari in discussing the issue of Aqidah is mediating between naql and reason, using aqli arguments, accepting ta'wil al kalamiy. The view of Al-Qadhi Abdul Jabbar in ru'yatullah is of the opinion that Allah cannot be seen in this world or in the hereafter, in contrast to Abu Hasan Al-Ash'ari according to him the meaning of the word ru'yah is to know the knowledge and power of Allah, they believe that the people The believer will see his Lord on the Day of Resurrection even if he does not know how. Not through the ability to see that is found in the ordinary eye, but with the ability that is bestowed by Allah Swt.

From 1968 to 1975, Lew Alcindor/Kareem Abdul-Jabbar traveled a turbulent personal path toward self-discovery. His journey had profound implications for the larger cultural landscape of race, sport, politics, and religion. As he became professional basketball's chief superstar, he was framed by the press as sullen and solitary, and he served as the villain in a media-driven storyline informed by popular prejudices. Yet for many African Americans and other progressive fans, he exemplified the ideals that made black power uplifting and affirmative, rather than threatening. His conversion to Islam and his name change further shaped new cultural and political territory for the black athlete. It highlighted a personal struggle within Abdul-Jabbar – he sought a kind of personal freedom, even as he revealed a tendency to subsume himself before strong authority figures. He nevertheless stood, in this period, as the nation's most prominent face of classical Islam. His religious conversion further distanced him from much of the American public, but over time he presented an effective, progressive narrative about the place of Islam in American life.

Abstract This article describes the educational values contained in sirah nabawiyah learning in the book khulasoh nurul yaqin that can be applied and carried out in the daily life of a Muslim so that it becomes a character personality of a pious Muslim. From all of the above, we can conclude a set of conclusions or opinions, the most important of which are: Al-Rifai affirms that we cannot modernize religious thinking in Islam except by getting rid of the inherited theological systems in which confusion and confusion take place between God and people's perception of God, between the sacred and humans' perception of the sacred. The concept of the sacred expands to include many meanings, and its definitions vary in a way that makes it difficult to grasp one meaning for it. And the sacred is related to what is religious in many of its forms and fields, but sometimes the sacred has a field outside religion in its usual and customary sense, because it is also related to the nature of societies and their limits in it. We can say: Everything we give a value dimension that goes beyond our existence as human beings is “sacred” in a way.

Abstract This essay explores networks of knowledge exchange and practices of knowledge production between South Asian Muslims and academic circles in Germany between 1915 and 1930. It centers on the brothers Abdul Jabbar Kheiri and Abdul Sattar Kheiri and foregrounds their interaction and encounters with German scholars during the First World War and in Weimar Germany until the brothers' return to India. Taking into consideration the asymmetries at play, the article looks at the motivations for the interest in knowledge exchange on the German and on the Indian sides, which changed in accordance with the different political situations and the positionalities and dependencies of the actors. The knowledge exchange went far beyond the newly emerging discipline of Islamic studies and classical Indology to include disciplines like sociology, economy, philosophy, and art.

The concept of the reversible ring property concerning nilpotent elements was introduced by A.M. Abdul-Jabbar and C. A. Ahmed, who introduced the concept of commutativity of nilpotent elements at zero, termed as a CNZ ring, as an extension of reversible rings. In this paper, we extend the CNZ property through the influence of a central ring endomorphism alpha , introducing a new type of ring called a right alpha -skew central CNZ ring. This concept not only expands upon CNZ rings but also serves as a generalization of right alpha -skew central reversible rings. We explore various properties of these rings and delve into extensions of right alpha -skew central CNZ rings, along with examining several established results, which emerge as corollaries of our findings.

Tulisan ini bertujuan (1) mengkaji cara pandang Mu’tazilah tentang Qadhi Abdul Jabbar sebagai tentang hadits. (2) menginterpretasi atau mendekripsikan secara analitis hadits-hadits yang di tentang oleh Mu’tazilah. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan untuk membahas persoalan yang ada dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research), dengan pendekatan metode analisis komprehensif. Mu’tazilah dalam menyikapi segala hal selalu berpedoman dengan lima dasar kerangka berfikir (ushul al-khamsah), tanpa kecuali dalam menyikapi hadits. Kaum mu’tazilah yang selalu menggunakan akalnya dalam segala hal menjadikannya al-Quran maupun hadist tunduk padanya. Dalam bidang hadits, mereka tidak mempercayai sahabat, mereka mengigkari hadits mutawatir, mereka mengingkari hadits ahad, bahkan terkadang memalsukan hadits demi memperkuat pendapatnya. Gambaran penyimpangan Mu’tazilah terhadap hadits diantaranya: mengenal Allah SWT dengan bukti yang nyata, mengingkari adanya melihat Allah SWT pada hari kiamat, mengingkari adanya syafa’at Rasulullah SAW, mengingkari adanya mu’jizat Rasulullah SAW, pendapatnya mengenai hukuman bagi peminum khamr dan anggur, dan mengingkari adanya adzab kubur.

This article discusses the Pematangsiantar Grand Mosque as the oldest mosque in Pematangsiantar City and Simalungun Regency. This study uses a historical method consisting of stages: (1) heuristics; (2) verification; (3) interpretation; and (4) historiography. The data collection techniques are carried out by: (1) observation; (2) interviews;, (3) document studies; and (4) literature studies. The research results obtained that the Pematangsiantar Grand Mosque is a mosque that was built in 1911 on a 3.977 m2 land grant from the King of Pematangsiantar, namely King Sang Na Ualuh Damanik by the muslim community spearheaded by Panghulu Hamzah, Mr. Syeh H. Abdul Jabbar Nasution , dr. M. Hamzah Harahap Dja Aminuddin. The Grand Mosque has a primary building area of 716 m2 with a capacity of 1.106 people and has two floors. Digital games can provide fun, motivating, and challenging experiences for students in the classroom. Recent research on educational games has shown that game play can positively influence academic achievement, engagement, and 21st century skills (Abdul Jabbar & Felicia, 2015; Qian & Clark, 2016). When playing games, students solve problems, collaborate with peers, and practice new skills—all within a digital environment. There are multiple games that simulate preparing and serving food. Generally, players are tasked to prepare food based on the requests of customers. Ingredients are processed on different tables or appliances, and final dishes are delivered to customers. Players who fail to complete recipes correctly or take too long during preparation may negatively influence customers' expectations. Although games vary in quality and applicability to the classroom, many address components of the Food Service and Production standard to "integrate knowledge, skills, and practices required for careers in food production and services" (National Association of State Administrators of Family and Consumer Sciences [NASAFACS], 2018, p.1).

In Sumber Rejo village there are some well-utilized mushola and lack of interest to pray in the mosque. The activity chosen is the study of Mabadi ' Al-Fiqhiyyah by Sheikh Umar Ibn Abdul Jabbar and performed every Maghrib Ba'da in the mosque Nurul Hidayah RT 04 and the mosque Baitul Ikhlas at RT 05 with the division of time. For Mondays to Thursdays, the implementation of the Mabadi ' Al-Fiqhiyyah study activity is located at Mushola Nurul Hidayah. As for Friday to Sunday, this activity is located at the Mosque of Baitul Ikhlas. After the division of this time, to fill the void due to the division of time, in each mosque held also activities Sholawat al-Barzanji. Both activities gave a smooth walk and attracted people to pray in the Mushola.</em></p><p class="ABSTRACTJUDUL"><em> </em></p><p class="ABSTRACTJUDUL"><em>Kegiatan Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat (KPM) merupakan kegiatan yang memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk belajar serta bekerja di masyarakat. Di Dusun Sumber Rejo terdapat beberapa mushola yang masih belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik serta kurangnya minat masyarakat untuk sholat di masjid. Kegiatan yang dipilih adalah kajian kitab Mabadi’ Al-Fiqhiyyah karangan Syekh Umar Ibn Abdul Jabbar dan dilaksanakan setiap ba’da magrib di mushola Nurul Hidayah RT 04 dan mushola Baitul Ikhlas di RT 05 dengan pembagian waktu. Untuk hari senin hingga kamis, pelaksanaan kegiatan kajian kitab Mabadi’ Al-Fiqhiyyah bertempat di Mushola Nurul Hidayah. Sedangkan untuk hari Jum’at hingga minggu kegiatan ini bertempat di Mushola Baitul Ikhlas. Setelah diadakan pembagian waktu ini, untuk mengisi kekosongan karena adanya pembagian waktu, pada masing-masing mushola diadakan pula kegiatan sholawat al-Barzanji. Kedua kegiatan ini memberikan berjalan dengan lancar dan menarik minat masyarakat untuk berjamaah sholat di mushola.</em></p>

The researcher chose the book Khulashoh Nurul Yaqin chapter 2 since there are many kinds of ism al- ma’rifah genitive case so that they can be analyzed to improve the readers‟ understanding of this book and is expected to be useful for increasing knowledge development. This is a qualitative study with library research design. Data in the form of ism al ma’rifah (definite noun) genitive case are sourced from the book Khulashoh Nurul Yaqin chapter 2. The instrument used in this study was a data card. The data collection technique used the documentation method. The data analysis technique used the distributional method. The result of this study showed that there are about 430 data on ism al- ma’rifah (definite noun) genitive case found in the book Khulasoh Nurul Yaqin chapter 2. The researcher took 100 data samples with purposive sampling technique (1) type ism al- ma’rifah (definite noun) genitive case consisting of 26 data types ism ‘alam, 15 data types ism dhamir, 1 data types ism isyarah, 1 data types ism maushul, 41 data types ism al-mu’arraf bi al, 16 data types ism al-mudhafu ilal ma’rifah. In his review of Maha Elkaisy-Friemuth’s Gods and Humans in IslamicThought: Abdul-Jabbār, Ibn Sīna and al-Ghazāli (Abingdon: Routledge,2006), Sajjad Rizvi (2008) identifies three paths proposed by three influentialmedieval thinkers as characterizing the interconnected nature of intellectualinquiry in Islam: Abd al-Jabbar (d. 1025), regarded as representing the kalām tradition, Ibn Sina (d. 1037) of the philosophical orientation, and al-Ghazali(d. 1111) of the Sufi tradition. If Rizvi had accurately added the juridical orjurisprudential dimension to Elkaisy-Friemuth’s perspective, his review wouldhave panoramically captured the essence of Islam’s intellectual tradition. Theelegant book under review, Iftā and Fatwa in the Muslim World and the West,edited by Zulfiqar Ali Shah, has taken care of that major omission in whatmay be described as a virtually all-encompassing look at emerging concernsin iftā’ (formulating a fatwa) and fatwa (issuing a fatwa).The book features an introduction by the editor and eight chapters byscholars in the various foci of the subject covered. There is a growing trend of using medicinal plants for various purposes around the world. This is due to the growing awareness of the various benefits that these plants offer. In addition, the availability of these plants is also increasing due to the efforts of various organizations and individuals. The scientific rationale for the use of plants is that plants can provide a wide range of benefits for humans. Plants can help to improve our health, improve the quality of our food, and help to clean the environment. The traditional knowledge of medicinal plants is often passed on from generation to generation through oral traditions. In many cases, the identity of the plants used in traditional medicines is not known, and there is little or no scientific evidence to support their use. In order for traditional medicines to be accepted as part of mainstream medicine, it is important that the plants used in these medicines are scientifically validated. This means that there must be evidence to show that the plants actually have the medicinal properties that they are claimed to have. There are many ways to scientifically validate a medicinal plant. One way is to carry out laboratory studies to see if the plant has the desired effect on cells or other laboratory models. Another way is to carry out clinical trials on people to see if the plant has the desired effect on humans. There are many reasons why the isolation of medicinal compounds from plants is important. One reason is that by isolating the compound, researchers can more easily study its effects on the body. Additionally, by isolating the compound, researchers can develop more targeted and effective treatments for diseases. Additionally, the isolation of medicinal compounds from plants can help to ensure the quality and safety of these compounds. It is an undeniable fact that there is a growing body of scientific evidence that supports the use of medicinal plants for the treatment of various illnesses. The World Health Organization (WHO) has endorsed the use of medicinal plants for the treatment of a wide range of health conditions. I hope that this will continue, however, I also think that we need to keep providing scientific rationale for the use of the medicinal plant in various diseases if we want WHO and other international organizations to keep endorsing the use of these plants. The 2nd International Conference on Animal Research for Eco-Friendly Livestock Industry (2nd ICARELI) 2023 was held on August 15th, 2023 in Surakarta, Indonesia. The scientific conference was performed by the Study Program of Animal Science, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia in virtual platform. This international conference aims to explore recent research on the eco-friendly livestock industry which is in line with sustainable development goals. The conference consisted of plenary and panel sessions. During the plenary session, all of the invited speakers from Japan, Malaysia, Australia, South Korea, and Indonesia were able to present live for discussions although there was a time difference between continents. Prof. Abdul Razaq Alimon from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) gave talk about livestock nutrition availability: scenarios for sustainability in climate change context. Dr. Naoto Shimizu from Hokkaido University, Japan discussed regarding food and agricultural waste valorization through the global food system. Prof. Abdul Jabbar from University of Melbourne, Australia talked about epidemiology and control of parasitic diseases of socio-economic significance of livestock and a one health perspective. Prof. Kim Hack Yeon from Kongju National University, South Korea gave a talk about future perspective of meat products development based on protein substitutes and biodegradable materials. Associate Prof. Lilik Retna Kartikasari, Ph.D., from Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta delivered a speech entitled “optimizing omega-3 enriched chicken products”. The Organizing Committee received 76 manuscripts. There 72 participants were able to give presentations during the conference. The participants presented their scientific results live by zoom platform provided during the conference. All talks and discussions during the conference were well recorded. There were five breakout rooms of zoom provided according to conference scopes i.e.: eco-friendly animal feed resources; nutrition, forage and pasture, sustainable animal production system; animal biodiversity, ecology, and conservation, organic farming; eco-friendly animal products processing and technology; food safety and security of animal resources; animal waste management and bioenergy; socio-economic studies on sustainable animal farming; and animal health and welfare. The 49 presented manuscripts out of 72 total received were screened for IOP: EES publication and went through a double-blind review in the Morressier platform. The 2nd ICARELI 2023 was successfully held by all support from the university president, dean, students volunteering in the event, and all third parties involved. We are very glad that the event was joined by all of the participants with enthusiasm. The editorial team, reviewers and participants were also able to use the Morressier platform during the reviewing process with the responsive work of the Morressier team. Therefore, the proceedings of the 2nd ICARELI 2023 can be published and hopefully be able to give values to the community. Methods: A population-based cohort of all Olmsted County, Minnesota, residents who had newly diagnosed TED between April 3, 2002, and December 31, 2021, was identified through the medical diagnostic index of the Rochester Epidemiology Project. Individuals aged 18 years and older were included. Incidence rates and point prevalence were calculated. Results: We identified 137 incident patients, of whom 124 (90.5%) were female (p &lt; 0.0001). The overall incidence was 6.24 cases/100,000 person-years in Olmsted County, corresponding to 6.25 cases/100,000 person-years for the US population (age and sex adjusted incidence). Women had higher incidence (10.94 cases/ 100,000 person-years) compared to men (1.22 cases/100,000 person-years). The distribution of incidence rates by ten-year age groups demonstrated peak incidence rates in the age groups 70 to 79 years (17.94 cases/100,000 person-years for women compared with 4.04 cases for men). The majority of cases (77/137) occurred between 50-79 years of age. No clear trend was identified for the yearly incidence between 2002 and 2021. The overall estimated point prevalence per 100,000 was 65.6 (95% CI, 57.8 – 72.9). Prevalence was 117.6 (95% CI, 96.5 – 141.4) for females and 11.2 (95% CI, 5.1 – 21.2) for males (p &lt; 0.0001). Conclusions: Incidence rates for TED remained stable and significant over the last 2 decades. Majority of disease burden is present after the age of 50 with the peak between 70-79 years, a decade later than in the previous study from our population (1). Based on reported incidence and prevalence of Graves’ disease (2), our data indicates that TED continues to affect about 20-30% of that population and appropriate resources should be devoted to furthering education, management, and research into this condition.
