Phytotoxic properties of Absheron soils were studied when they were contaminated with oil and oil products. For this purpose, samples were taken from gray-brown semi-desert soil from Binagadi settlement of Absheron region and light chestnut soil from Saray settlement. Studies conducted with these soil types have shown that arid areas are not resistant to pollution by oil and oil products in terms of phytotoxicity.
