The concept of absorptive capacity was introduced by Cohen and Levinthal in 1989 as an important condition for high innovativeness. Since then it has been enhanced through reconceptualisations and extended by various empirical studies. Despite the growing interest in the concept, the processes and practices of absorptive capacity have largely remained a "black box". To fill this gap, the paper develops a practice-based approach of absorptive capacity and provides an in-depth empirical investigation to shed more light on the practice of knowledge absorption. Companies nowadays operate under conditions of increasing competitive pressure from globalization, new market players and shorter production cycles [5]. To face these challenges, innovations are considered as major engines to enhance firms’ performance and to strengthen their competitive position in the market [9]. Nowadays, developing internal innovation capacities is no longer sufficient to gain and sustain competitive advantage. Therefore, a trend to intensify collaboration between companies across industry networks and partnerships, opening up their innovation processes has emerged [2].

In this study, the analysis of quantity and quality indicators in the road and rail transport sector shows that the Philippines continues to suffer from inadequate and poor quality road and rail transport infrastructure. In most metrics of comparison with ASEAN neighbors, the Philippines is also behind in improving the quantity and quality of its road and rail transport infrastructure. The assessment of targets and achievements in the Philippine Development Plan, the Public Investment Program, and the expenditure program reveals that many of the targets were unmet. The low absorptive capacity,

This technical report details the testing plan, methodology, and results used to characterize the paste constituent materials for Charleroi Concrete Mixture 2. Raw materials were characterized for physical and chemical properties of interest including chemical composition, mineralogy, particle size, and absorption capacity. Isothermal calorimetry was used to study the reactivity of constituent materials, and rotational rheology was used to study the impact of various constituent materials on the expected workability and fluidity of the composite paste.

A Clegg Impact Tester, also known as a Clegg Hammer, is a portable device invented by Dr. Baden Clegg to assess surface shock absorption and bearing capacity. It measures the strength of soils, aggregates, and synthetic materials for roads and sports surfaces. The tester consists of a compaction hammer, guiding tube, and piezoelectric accelerometer. It quantifies a surface's ability to withstand structural load and offers insights into strength, stiffness, and stability. The hammer is dropped from a specific height, and its impact is measured. Clegg Impact Testers are used for various applicat
