На основе принципов интертекстуальной деконструкции в статье рассматривается феномен литературной игры в одноактной драматургии А. П. Чехова и его значение для абсурдистской традиции. Чеховский интертекст охватывает обилие элементов отечественной и мировой культуры, обусловливая явление культурно-семантической полифонии, отвечающей за культурный диалог (в том числе за литературный). Излюбленной формой литературного диалога для русского писателя стала пародия, разновидностью которой является сюжетная инверсия (переворачивание смыслов), что генетически роднит одноактную драматургию А.
