This study investigated the challenges faced by middle-level academic leaders at a university in South Africa. It was guided by the transformational leadership approach. The therapeutic benefits of intravenous thrombolytics is time dependent in an acute ischemic stroke patient and is an important determinant of 90 day and one year functional outcomes. Purpose The purpose of this study is to compare the incidence of post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in opioid-utilizing and opioid-free general anesthesia.
