Abstract:
Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is fourth most frequent cancer in men and third most common cancer in women in Turkey according to GLOBOCAN 2012 data. Its age-standardized incidence is 16.6 per 100,000 population in both sexes. CRC screening is globally accepted program and was shown that reduces CRC mortality. Aim: Public awareness is highly important to increase screening rate and to decrease mortality from CRC. Methods: We initiated a social program for patients with CRC, which is called “Colorectal Cancer Survivors”. Program contained interactive talks with patients and their relatives during cocktail and lunch in selected five stars hotels. We performed this activity in 2011 and 2012 in Istanbul. We invited patients with CRC who already diagnosed and successfully treated in Istanbul University Institute of Oncology. They were all 5 years or more survivors after surgery alone for stage I and II disease or last chemotherapy cycle for stage III or some stage IV cases. During meetings, surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists shared latest information about the risk factors, prevention and treatment modalities with participants. Media health correspondents were also participated to these activities. We monitored and compared screening rate before and after 2011. As a source, we used the nation-based data of cancer screening of Ministry of Health. Results: In April 30th, 2011, and in March 29th, 2012, 34 survivors joined to this program. We offered “Certificate of 5-Year Survivor” and “Blue Bead” to all patients. Blue Bead is a kind of symbol of hope in Turkey. In 2014, we observed significant increase in CRC screening compared with 2011 in Istanbul and all over the country. Conclusion: Since 2011 until present, there is a significant increase in CRC screening in Turkey. Among many positive factors, some social programs using media such as our “CRC Survivors” program that gives the message that CRC is a treatable and also curable in early stages, may stimulate screening.

Abstract:
The MgO-supported Fe-Co-Mn catalysts, prepared using co-precipitation procedure, were tested for production of light olefins via CO hydrogenation reaction. The effect of a range of drying conditions including drying temperature and drying time on the structure and catalytic performance of Fe-Co-Mn/MgO catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis was investigated in a fixed bed micro-reactor under the same operational conditions of T = 350 °C, P = 1 bar, H2/CO = 2/1, and GHSV = 4500 h-1. It was found that the catalyst dried at 120 °C for 16 h has shown the best catalytic performance for CO hydrogenation. Furthermore, the effect of drying conditions on different surface reaction rates was also investigated and it was found that the precursors drying conditions influenced the rates of different surface reactions. Characterization of catalyst precursors and calcined samples (fresh and used) was carried out using powder X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) measurements, Temperature Programmed Reduction (TPR), Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). Characterization results showed that different investigated variables (drying conditions) influenced the structure, morphology and catalytic performance of the ternary catalysts. Abstract:
Constructed wetland is a low cost, effective technology and it is still in the state of improvement to enhance the treatment efficiency, especially in nutrient and trace elements treatment. This study investigated the effect of aerobic and anoxic conditions in Horizontal Subsurface Flow Constructed Wetland (HSFCW) on nutrient, organic, metal and Octylphenol - OP (Endocrine disrupting chemical) treatment. Two HSFCWs were constructed: HSFCW1 with three aerobic compartments; HSFCW2 with two aerobic compartments, one anoxic compartment. The two HSFCWs had the same design parameters (fiters, plants), except oxygen conditions. The results showed that aerobic and anoxic HSFCW may increase the efficiency of Nitrogen removal by 10%, but decreased by 11% in the efficiency of OP treatment (one of the EDCs). The efficiency of treatment of pollutants, including NH4+-N, COD, TP, Mn, Fe, Al and Cu between two HSFCWs were not significantly different; the average efficiency was 99%, 84%, 97%, 96%, 96%, 72% and 73%, respectively. Therefore, the anoxic compartment of HSFCW still provided the effective removal of organic matter, Manuscript received September 29th, 2017; accepted 24th December, 2017 This study was funded by CARE RESCIF under grant number Tc-TTC-2017-05. Abstract:
Physiotherapy research promotes optimum care for patients through evidence-based physiotherapy practice. Students' attitude towards research motivates them to engage in research, develop research skills and apply research findings in clinical settings to promote positive patients outcome. Aim: The aim of this study is to analyse the attitudes and anxiety of undergraduate Physiotherapy students towards research component. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was carried out with purposively selected students (n=150) from one physiotherapy college (Third-year BPT, final year BPT and internee). With informed voluntary consent, data on students’ attitude and anxie-ty toward research were collected using Attitudes Toward Research (ATR) scale which was devised by Elena T. Papanastasiou in 2005. ATR consists of 32 items measured on a 7- point Likert scale. A value of 1 indicates a response of ‘strongly disagree’ and a value of 7 corresponds to ‘strongly agree’. Analyses were performed using SPSS version 20. Results: Most of the participants (80%) reported that research is useful for the career. Positive attitude towards research was demonstrated by 69.33% physiotherapy students and 63.33% reported that research plays an im-portant role in professional and personal life. However, a large proportion of students (72.67%) have anxiety towards research and 74% of students reported for research difficulty. Conclusion: Although many of the students have a fa-vourable attitude towards the research and acknowledge its usefulness and benefit to physiotherapy profession, many of them perceived their research course as stressful and have anxiety towards the research.

Abstract:
Aim: To determine if introducing a standardized minimally invasive esophagectomy (MIE) to robot-assisted MIE (RAMIE) improves the short-term patient outcomes. Methods: A total of 292 patients with esophageal cancer underwent thoracic esophagectomy [MIE (n = 208); RAMIE (n = 84)] at Aichi Cancer Center Hospital between January 2019 and August 2022. The cumulative sum (CUSUM) method was used to analyze the learning curve for RAMIE. The MIE and RAMIE surgical and postoperative outcomes were also analyzed retrospectively. Propensity score matching was used to compensate for the selection bias. Results: The CUSUM plot of the console time reached a plateau in the 29th case and began to decrease in the 43rd case. Therefore, we defined phase I (introductory phase) up to the 28th case, phase II from the 29th - 42nd case, and phase III from the 43rd case onward. The median thoracic operative time was significantly longer in the RAMIE group than the MIE group in phase I (P < 0.001); however, the median RAMIE console time was 227.5, 212, and 182 min in phases I-III, respectively, compared to a median MIE thoracic operative time of 232 min. The incidence of recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) palsy was significantly less after phase II for RAMIE (12.5%) compared to MIE (25%; P = 0.04). The incidence of RLN palsy was also decreased in phases II and III for RAMIE after matching (13%; P = 0.04). Conclusion: Standardization of RAMIE may decrease the incidence of RLN palsy in patients compared to MIE.

Using a small, university sample and two larger internet samples, we provided concurrent validity by presenting moderate-to-strong correlations of the ASMS with a BDSM semantic differential attitude scale, interest in sadomasochism items, and selfassessed sadomasochism knowledge. Further, the ASMS correlated well with measures of erotophobia--erotophilia (i.e., personal comfort with sexuality). There were differences on the ASMS and its subscales based on participant sexual orientation, with sexual minorities demonstrating more favorable scores on the ASMS compared to heterosexuals. Also, those who self-reported that they were more religious were less favorable on the ASMS. There were no differences on the ASMS as a function of gender (men versus women), age cohort, regional location in the US, or environmental residence (rural, suburban, or urban). A confirmatory factor analysis supported Yost's original factor structure although deletion of a two-item subscale was recommended. In general, attitudes toward sadomaschism were slightly favorable for the entire sample. We concluded that the ASMS is a valid and reliable measure for the assessment of attitudes toward sadomasochism and recommend its use in future investigations.

Abstract:
Traditional medicinal knowledge and healing practices of indigenous spiritual healers play important roles in health care, and contribute towards achieving Universal Health Care. Traditional spiritual healers (TSHs) are grouped into three categories. One category of Baganda TSHs, Balubaale, engage ancestral spirits during health management. Balubaale are socially significant but not legally accepted. Their initiation and training practices have not been documented in Uganda. The study purpose was to understand and establish the training of traditional spiritual healers. Twelve (10M, 2F); practicing TSHs in Central Uganda were purposively selected and recruited between 15th July 2019 and 29th April 2020, and were prospectively interacted with for 24 months. Transcribed data was coded and thematically analyzed using ATLAS ti. 22 computer software and presented based on an inductive approach. Findings show key areas of TSHs training include connecting with ancestral spirits and the spiritual powers of non-materials and materials such as living and non-living things through rituals. Spiritual healers train in diagnosis and health management based on ancestral spirits and they finally pass out in a communal ceremony witnessed by family and community members. We conclude that TSHs undergo training and are supervised and supported by experienced spiritualists, family and the community. We recommend similar studies among other ethnic groups to contextualize the process of becoming a TSH, compare and harmonize findings to facilitate inter-medical systems communication and policy considerations.

Abstract:
Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the changes in the ultrasonographic thickness of transversus abdominis and internal oblique muscles during bridge with arm extension compared to bridge and abdominal hollowing. Patients and methods: Between March 1st, 2019 and March 29th, 2019, a total of 30 healthy individuals (15 males, 15 females; mean age: 28.8±8.1 years; range, 21 to 52 years) among hospital staff were included. Thickness of transversus abdominis, internal, and external oblique muscles of the participants were evaluated using ultrasound during four positions (rest, abdominal hollowing, bridge, and bridge with arm extension). Results: The mean body mass index was 23.8±4.1 kg/m2. The thickness of transversus abdominis and internal oblique muscles increased during all positions (p<0.001), compared to rest. The thickness during bridge with arm extension was greater than abdominal hollowing and bridge. Conclusion: Co-activation of latissimus dorsi and gluteus maximus muscles during abdominal contraction increases the thickness of internal oblique and transversus abdominis muscles greater than abdominal contraction alone or co-activation of gluteus maximus alone. Simultaneous isometric contraction of latissimus dorsi muscle may enhance abdominal muscle function.

Abstract:
On 29th May 2019, Nigeria celebrated the twentieth anniversary of her latest democratisation process. Within this period, Nigeria has successfully organised six (6) elections with three changes of government. This is quite remarkable for democracy in Nigeria. However, because of the long years of military rule (31 years), it has been difficult to obliterate the hangover of the militarised psyche of Nigerian political actors. Despite the fact that we have civil rule, Nigeria still experiences abuse of the constitution, brutalisation of the citizenry, crackdown on the press, violent electioneering, significant influence of the military on political and social issues, which are identified with military rule. This study examined how democratic Nigerian democracy is since the last twenty years. It highlighted the features of military rule in our democracy. Workable recommendations such as ensuring proper devolution of powers, implementation of fiscal federalism, elimination of executive immunity etc are suggested for Nigeria to move from a militarised democracy to the ideal democracy.

Abstract:
Novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19 was first discovered in Wuhan, China by end of 2019. Since then, the virus has claimed millions of lives worldwide. In 29th April 2020, there were more than 5,000 outbreak cases in Malaysia as reported by the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOHE). This study aims to evaluate the trend analysis of the COVID-19 outbreak using Mann-Kendall test, and predict the future cases of COVID-19 in Malaysia using Recurrent Forecasting-Singular Spectrum Analysis (RF-SSA) model. The RF-SSA model was developed to measure and predict daily COVID-19 cases in Malaysia for the coming 10 days using previously-confirmed cases. A Singular Spectrum Analysis-based forecasting model that discriminates noise in a time series trend is introduced. The RF-SSA model assessment is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) official COVID-19 data to predict the daily confirmed cases after 29th April until 9th May, 2020. The preliminary results of Mann-Kendall test showed a declining trend pattern for new cases during Restricted Movement Order (RMO) 3 compared to RMO1, RMO2 and RMO4, with a dramatic increase in the COVID-19 outbreak during RMO1. Overall, the RF-SSA has over-forecasted the cases by 0.36%. This indicates RF-SSA’s competence to predict the impending number of COVID-19 cases. The proposed model predicted that Malaysia would hit single digit in daily confirmed cased of COVID-19 by early-June 2020. These findings have proven the capability of RF-SSA model in apprehending the trend and predict the cases of COVID-19 with high accuracy. Nevertheless, enhanced RF-SSA algorithm should to be developed for higher effectivity in capturing any extreme data changes.

Abstract:
The judiciary is one of the important institutions of government that constitutes the spice that help the meals of democracy to be tasty. Over time, the judiciary in Nigeria has made strides in its effort to ensure the deepening or consolidation of democracy especially in the Fourth Republic which started on 29th May, 1999. However, the recent litigations that throw up judiciary decisions from the Supreme Court tend to be generating so much arguments from individuals as to whether the judiciary could continue to be the hope of a common man. This paper therefore, attempt to bridge this gap by looking at the critical issues from the 2019 post-election litigations of the Supreme Court. The paper adopted the documentary method of data collection and utilizes secondary sources. This paper by employing the theory of post-colonial state argues that the very relative autonomy and lack of independent of the judiciary especially in the appointment of CJN and other judicial official account for the perennial controversy associated with the outcome of the 2019 post-election litigations in Nigeria. The paper recommends among others; that for the judiciary to be truly independent appointment of CJN and other judicial officers should be done by NJC to avoid interference or influence from other arms on matters of judicial prerogative to reflect that the Judicial is actually the last hope of a common man.

Abstract:
BackgroundOccupational contact dermatitis is one of the most common occupational diseases, but there is a lack of reliable information on incidence. Despite acknowledged limitations, workers’ compensation statistics may provide insights into contact dermatitis patterns.ObjectiveThe objective of the study was to characterise historical patterns of workers’ compensation claims for occupational contact dermatitis.MethodsThis was a retrospective analysis of workers’ compensation claims for occupational contact dermatitis from 1996–2015 (n=3,348) accepted by WorkSafe Victoria in Victoria, Australia. Accepted claims per 1 00 000 person-years stratified by sex, age and industry were calculated. Denominators for the population at risk were obtained from the Australian Bureau of Statistics using Victorian Labour Force Survey data.ResultsThe compensation claims rate of occupational contact dermatitis was 6.72 per 1 00 000 person-years for the overall twenty-year period. There was a significant reduction in claims from 11.84 in 1996 to 1.78 in 2015. Males had a higher overall claims rate of 7.97 compared to the rate for females of 5.18. Over the twenty-year period the rate for males decreased from 14.46 to 1.7 compared to a reduction from 8.4 to 1.8 for females. This decrease was still observed when the data were standardised for underlying changes in the age structure of the population. There was an overall decline across all high-risk occupational groupsConclusionsThere was a fivefold decrease in accepted claims for occupational contact dermatitis for the twenty-year period from January 1996 to December 2015 for the state of Victoria in Australia. These results need to be regarded with caution as the declining rate of accepted occupational contact dermatitis claims may indicate changes in workplace dermal exposures or improvements in workplace skin protection practices over time, or they may be driven by underlying changes to the workers’ compensation system or changes to claims behaviour amongst workers.

Abstract:
Among odontogenic tumors, odontoma is the most frequent. The common treatment contemplates a conservative approach. While this procedure is generally accepted and tolerated, some difficulties may be encountered in the case of pediatric patients. Indeed, negative feelings of tension, apprehension, nervousness, and fear are likely to occur. The present report is aimed at discussing the management of a compound odontoma in a pediatric patient under anxiolysis with diazepam on an outpatient basis. The surgery was carried out without complications, and the discharge was completed safely. Oral premedication with diazepam should be considered to avoid more invasive sedation procedures in anxious pediatric patients.

Abstract:
Abstract. The recovery phase of an earthquake-affected settlement is a time-consuming and complex process that requires monitoring, which is now possible using UAS. The purpose of this paper is to present the methodology followed and the results obtained by the exploitation of UAS for rapid multitemporal 3D mapping during the recovery phase of Vrisa traditional settlement, Lesvos island, Greece, which was highly damaged by the earthquake (Mw=6.3) on 12th June 2017. More analytically, three (3) flight campaigns covering the period July 2017 – May 2020 took place by means of an UAS for collecting high-resolution images on: i) 19th May 2019, ii) 29th September 2019, iii) 17th May 2020. Structure from Motion (SfM) and Multi Stereo View (MSV) methods have been applied and produced: i) Digital Surface Models – DSMs, ii) 3D Point Clouds – 3DPC and iii) Orthophoto-maps, of Vrisa. In parallel, GIS capabilities has been exploit to calculate building volumes based on: a) DSM produced by UAS image processing, b) DEM produced by 233 RTK measurements and c) building footprints derived by the digitization of the orthophoto-map of 25th July 2017. The methodology developed and implemented achieves extremely reliable results in a relatively easy, fast and economically feasible way, which is confirmed with great precision by field work. By applying the above-described methodology, it was possible to monitoring the recovery phase during July 2017 and May 2020 which 302/340 buildings that had been severely damaged by the earthquake have been demolished. A small number of new buildings have also been rebuilded and small number of buildings that have just begun excavations for their construction. An important parameter for obtaining reliable data and comparable results is the correct selection of flight parameters and their maintenance at all times when it is decided to take data, without affecting the accuracy of the results from taking photos or videos. Automation in the future of the proposed methodology can significantly accelerate the achievement of reliable results without the intermediate interpretation of orthophoto-maps.

Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic affected the healthcare system in our country and led non-COVID patients to postpone medical visits that were not urgent. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic on the trends in melanoma diagnosis and to compare the pathological characteristics of melanoma patients before and during the pandemic. The number of primary cutaneous melanomas diagnosed each month between 1st March 2019 and 29th February 2020 (pre-COVID-19) and between 1st March 2020 and 28th February 2021 (COVID-19) in the North-Western Region of Romania (Cluj and Bihor counties) was determined. The pathological characteristics of melanomas diagnosed in the two intervals were compared. The number of melanoma diagnoses substantially decreased during the pandemic, with 66 (−19.3%) fewer cutaneous melanomas being diagnosed in the first year of the pandemic when compared with the previous year. The tumor thickness and mitotic rate were significantly higher in cases found during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our study suggests that COVID-19 has delayed diagnosis in patients with melanoma, leading to the detection of thicker melanomas that may increase morbidity and mortality. Further studies are needed to determine the consequences of this delay on outcomes.

Abstract:
Observationsin vivoin patients, supported by guinea-pigin vivodata, take centre stage in this perspective. Its objective is to highlight dichotomies between asthma features observedin vivoand accepted views involving cell/molecular biology research paradigms. For example, increased bronchial epithelial permeability is now considered a major paradigm and trait of asthma, yet, absorption of inhaled tracers has not been increasedin vivoin asthma. Such maintained barrier function in exudative asthma reflectsin vivoasymmetry of the epithelial lining as barrier between outside and inside world of molecules and cells. In desquamatory asthma, maintained epithelial tightness may be explained byin vivodemonstrations of exceedingly patchy epithelial loss, prompt creation of plasma-derived provisional barriers, and high-speed epithelial regeneration. Acknowledged protein/peptide secretion by epithelial cellsin vitrois contrasted here with a dominant, unidirectional movementin vivoof plasma-derived proteins/peptides (including antimicrobial peptides) to the surface of an intact epithelial lining. Furthermore, longstanding claims that epithelium-produced adenosine is a mediator of asthma are eroded by observationsin vivoin asthmatics. Notions concerning activation/fate of mucosal tissue eosinophils illustrate additional distinctions between accepted views andin vivopatient observations. Finally,in vitro-based paradigms preaching defect epithelial regeneration and increased permeability in pathogenesis of asthma are contrasted with experimentalin vivoobservations of exaggerated epithelial regeneration, which is multipathogenic in its own right. In conclusion, unexpected and challengingin vivoobservations in recent decades underpin novel insights into mucosal mechanisms in asthma.

Abstract:
Chloride-induced corrosion is widely accepted as one of the primary causes of premature deterioration for concrete structures in marine or deicing salt environment. For precast concrete (PC) structures, such durability problems may even be severer because defects in joint areas, e.g., cracks caused by grout shrinkage and improper construction, can accelerate chloride ion transportation process and may cause the interface shear failure when subjected to seismic load. By applying the path probability model (PPM) and reliability theory, a probabilistic framework was proposed to predict three limit states of PC structures, including corrosion initiation, serviceability limit state, and ultimate limit state. Using Monte Carlo simulation, a beam-to-column joint was further analyzed to illustrate the differences between PC structures and those cast in situ. The analysis indicates that corrosion initiation and serviceability limit state are sensitive to chloride diffusivity at connection area, and the higher pitting factor can significantly influence the bearing capacities of PC structures.

Apexification is widely applied in teenager patients but rarely used in the adult population. Instead, artificial apical barrier with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) is clinically accepted, and spontaneous apical closure in nonvital immature teeth of adult patients has rarely been encountered while only apexification of the maxillary incisors in adult patients has been reported. The aim of this case report is to share a successful apexification application in the mandibular premolar with a blunderbuss apex and periapical lesion of an adult patient by using calcium hydroxide: radiographically, spontaneous hard tissue barrier has been established, and narrowing canal space and decreasing area of periapical shadow were documented without complications. Taken together, our study indicates that patient’s age and tooth position may not be the critical limitation for apexification.

AbstractSome oil samples from various Nigerian oil fields were examined for the presence of Thermochemical Sulphate Reduction (TSR) derived organo sulphur compounds. Oil samples were diluted with DCM and injected into the GC–MS for full scan analysis. The GC–MS results show the presence 2–thiaadamantane, 1–methyl-2-thiaadamanatane and 5–methyl-2-thiaadamanatane, the compounds were identified by comparison of extracted spectras with literature. The presence of these compounds in oils has been accepted on a wider horizon as indicators of reservoir souring. The plot of 5–Methyl-2-thiaadamantane/Adamantane and Dibenzothiophene/Adamanatane showed a fair correlation, corroborating the presence of 5–Methyl-2-thiaadamantane and fairly high abundance of Dibenzothiophene, the plot of 2-thiaadamantane/Adamantane and 5–Methyl-2-Thiaadamantane/Adamantane corroborating the presence of 2-thiaadamantane and 5–Methyl-2-Thiaadamantane inferring that the presence of 2-thiaadamantane and 5–Methyl-2-Thiaadamantane indicate that reservoir souring is active.

AbstractThe main task of any vascular stent is the mechanical support of the re-opened vessel. This support function may be quantified by the compressive properties of the stent in radial outer loading conditions. Different test methods are standardized and are accepted to provide relevant data. Six commercially available self-expanding stents were investigated with regard to their forcedeformation behavior during radial as well as elliptical deformation. The measured radial resistive force and crush resistance were not qualitatively congruent for all stents. As a conclusion both test methods should be considered when describing the compressive properties of self-expanding stents.

Abstract:
Outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) was first reported in Wuhan, Hubei province of China, in early December 2019 which was later declared as a pandemic by World Health Organization (WHO) in March 2020. The International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses has termed this novel coronavirus as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). According to the report of WHO on 29th April, 2020, 3018681 confirmed cases along with 207973 deaths have been documented globally. COVID-19 was originally reported as a lethal lung disease with fever and cough as the most common symptoms; however, the increasing number of gastrointestinal symptoms, such as diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain in patients have clearly suggested that gastrointestinal tract (GIT) may also serve as a potential route for SARS-CoV-2 infection. To identify the effective therapies on this pandemic is urgent. Keeping this in mind, we realize that melatonin is a potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory molecule and it has been used in diverse diseases and pathophysiological conditions, including respiratory disease and viral infections. Importantly, melatonin specific receptors and its endogenously synthetic machinery are distributed throughout the mammalian gastrointestinal system. Therefore, the therapeutic potentiality of melatonin in SARS-CoV-2 associated digestive symptoms cannot be ignored. In this review, we focus on the clinical implications of melatonin on the digestive complications associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The result revealed that the isolation and identification of two furanocoumarins (bergapten<strong> </strong>1 and isopimpinellin 2) from the stem bark of this plant. Their molecular structures were elucidated and identified by using NMR spectroscopy in combination with IR, UV and HRMS spectra data, respectively. Furthermore, these two compounds were investigated for their anti-diabetic activity. According to the result, bergapten 1 and isopimpinellin 2 are not essentially good for anti-diabetic activity. This is the first report of two furanocoumarins from the Myanmar edible fruit tree.

Abstract:
Introduction. Foetal breech presentation is an obstetric problem that often leads to caesarean section. Stimulation of the acupoint BL67 by moxibustion may correct breech presentation. Methods. We observed 93 pregnant women in the 32nd-35th week of gestation with normal pregnancy and ultrasound diagnosis of breech presentation. The patients received stimulation of acupoint BL67 by self-administered moxibustion once a day for two weeks and if foetuses still were in breech presentation, moxibustion, and needle in the points BL65 and SI1, lasting 30 minutes, for three days in one week. The main outcome was vaginal birth with vertex presentation at delivery; the secondary outcome was compliance in the self-administration of the moxibustion treatment. Results. We observed cephalic version and natural childbirth in 62.4% of all treated women. The treatment was accepted by 98.9% women (93/94), and compliance was 91.4% (85/93) for self-administered moxibustion and 37.5% (12/32) for moxibustion and needle treatment. Conclusions. On the basis of our results, self-administered home treatment moxibustion followed by moxibustion and needle stimulations may be an effective and low-cost treatment for inducing cephalic version.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To assess prescriber acceptance of pharmacist-written recommendations and to identify areas of improvement for implementing and tracking pharmacist-written reviews.DESIGN: Phase one was a retrospective study to evaluate prescriber acceptance of pharmacist-written recommendations. Phase two consisted of the distribution of a brief anonymous survey for prescribers to provide input on preferences for pharmacist-written recommendations.SETTING: Patients receiving Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) services at VA Connecticut Healthcare System. PARTICIPANTS: Fifty veterans admitted to the HBPC program from January 2019 to April 2019 with at least 3 months of follow-up per patient.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURE: The primary outcome was the prescriber acceptance rate of HBPC pharmacistwritten recommendations.RESULTS: Out of 194 total pharmacist-written recommendations documented, 40.2% were accepted by providers. Specialty providers accepted a higher percentage of recommendations than primary care providers. Recommendations had a higher acceptance rate when both an attending provider and trainee were alerted (63.0%) versus an attending alone (36.1%). The anonymous survey concluded the majority of providers appreciate short, direct, clinically relevant summary recommendations.CONCLUSION: Overall, approximately 40% of the pharmacist-written recommendations were accepted and 66.7% were appropriately tracked, demonstrating there are opportunities for improvement. Formulating short, focused, and direct recommendations as well as ensuring to alert both attendings and trainees when indicated may optimize acceptance rates. Further research with a larger sample size is still needed to assess the barriers to prescriber acceptance of pharmacist-written recommendations.

Abstract:
Brexit is still being discussed by people at home and abroad. This article aims to analyze why an international institute like EU fails to keep UK as its member state. As it is known to all, the EU performs as a dominant pole in the world stage. It is reckoned as a leading power in the fields such as promoting the development of the economy, facilitating the living standard and strengthening the unite between member states and other countries. Since it’s establishment, the world witnesses the EU’s progress in supporting poor areas by allocating funds. EU also strives to ensure the social welfare and eliminate inequalities, strengthen the employment policy to create job opportunities. Legislation is also be put forward to promote good governance and sustainability. The influence of EU has reached into other aspects such as environmental protection, public health, transportation, competition, security and education. The EU has a steady connection with more than 150countries in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean,as well as other international organizations. In addition to rendering financial support and participate in dialogues with member states, investigation and evaluation are also being conducted to ensure these aids are used with efficiency. However, EU appears to be losing its effect in dealing with UK’s withdrawal. In 23rd January, 2013, British former prime minister David Cameron put forward Brexit vote for the first time. In 6th 2016, UK vote to leave EU. In 16th March, 2017, the Queen of England approved Brexit withdrawal bill and authorized the then prime minister Theresa May to start the process of Brexit. In 29th March, the process was officially launched, and UK should leave EU formally in 29th March, 2019, according to the agreement between UK and EU. In 12th June, 2018, UK released Brexit White Paper and 27 leaders among EU except UK voted unanimously for the Brexit draft deal. By collecting the relative information regarding EU cooperating with Germany, France and other developing countries, the subject of this article is to examine the importance of domestic policies. This article found that domestic policies plays a vital role for a country to choose whether or not to stay at an international organization. Because of the concern of the immigration, UK government chose to withdraw from EU. By tackling the issue of migration properly, UK could still be a member of EU.

Abstract:
Before deciding on operations involving share issuance or sale, companies or shareholders may seek to disclose information to selected investors, in order to gauge their opinion on the envisaged market operation. Despite such “market soundings” risk violating the prohibition of insider trading, selective disclosures have been partially accepted in several European jurisdictions. Market soundings have been eventually regulated in the MAR, which clarifies under which circumstances they are allowed and the position of the involved parties. This article analyses the rules on market soundings in the MAR with regard to issuance in the secondary market and accelerated bookbuildings. In this context, the question arises of whether harmonised rules on market soundings are compatible with national company law regimes. To address this issue, it will be assessed how Italian and English company law regimes react towards selective disclosures. It will be shown that a tension may still exist between uniform rules on market abuses and national company law rules, mostly with regard to directors’ duties and liabilities.

Abstract:
Purpose: This study seeks to offer a motivational sequence that explains the intention of physical activity among low-motivation students. Method: Participants included 1,872 students (Mage = 15.01, SDage = 0.83 years) from three countries. A cluster analysis (i.e., a person-centered approach) and a multigroup structural equation model (i.e., a dimensional approach) were used. Results: Three motivational profiles, namely, high motivation, high motivation with low ego, and low motivation–moderate task orientation were established. The model first tested, based on previous research findings, was found not to be invariant across the different profiles. The new model tested was determined to be suitable for the low-motivation profile. Discussion: The results revealed that widely accepted motivational sequences that explain the intention to be physically active in the future may be inapplicable for the least motivated students. The findings suggest that dispositional flow may play an important role in the engagement of low-motivation students in future physical activity.

In this study As(V) removal was done by GO and fRGO and a comparative study was made. At equilibrium pH (pH 6) fRGO gives more As(V) removal than GO. For both the materials, Langmuir adsorption isotherm fit better than Freundlich isotherm. The adsorption capacities of GO and fRGO are determined (12.04 mg/g) and (28.57 mg/g) respectively. Both materials follow pseudo-second order removal kinetics and fRGO (0.09 g/mg/min) shows a faster removal rate than GO (0.07 g/mg/min). It was found that fRGO can remove 2.4 times more arsenic than graphene oxide (GO).

Abstract:
Purpose: SARS-CoV-2 caused disruption for institutions throughout the world. This descriptive analysis reports the effects of SARS-CoV-2 on donor recovery in a large urban area. Methods: This retrospective analysis draws from internal eye bank data on donor referrals and exclusions and public data on positive viral tests. Data regarding total numbers of donations accepted and excluded were analyzed for January–December of 2019 and 2020. In addition, for May through December 2020, data regarding number of donor referrals, eligible donors, recovered donors, and donors excluded because of SARS-CoV-2 positivity or suspicion were analyzed and compared against Texas Department of State Health Services data for positive SARS-CoV-2 tests. Results: The average corneas recovered in 2020 was 80 per month compared with an average of 87 per month in 2019. Cornea recoveries for April, May, and June were 22, 67, and 75, respectively. There was no statistical difference in overall number of cornea recovered between 2019 (87.3 ± 10.7) and 2020 (80.2± 21.2; P = 0.36). The percentage of donated tissue excluded because of SARS-CoV-2 positivity or suspicion increased from May to July 2020 because of regional surge in SARS-CoV-2 cases. For May 2020, 141 were excluded of 1113 referrals (13%), and in July 2020, 688 were excluded of 1479 referrals (46%). Conclusions: SARS-CoV-2 affected donor recovery patterns in 2020; however, the overall number of donor tissues was not different compared with 2019. A regional surge in SARS-CoV-2 cases resulted in higher percentage donor tissue number excluded.

Abstract:
The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic from 2019 onwards has significantly increased the usage of surgical style medical masks, both in healthcare and public settings. It is important to study the contamination of and viral transfer from such masks. However, accepted standard test methods such as ISO 18184 have prescribed inoculation methods which may not be fully representative of the type of viral insult experienced in the clinic or community. In addition to studying a conventional mask, the performance of a mask featuring an antimicrobial photosensitiser was also studied.

Abstract:
In this paper an individual - suitable function calculating design for WSNs is conferred. A multi-agent- located construction for WSNs is planned and an analytical type of the active combination is built for the function appropriation difficulty. The purpose of this study is to identify the threats identified by clustering genetic algorithms in clustering networks, which will prolong network lifetime. In addition, optimal routing is done using the fuzzy function. Simulation results show that the simulated genetic algorithm improves diagnostic speed and improves energy consumption.©2019.
