Le travail présenté dans ce mémoire a été entrepris dans le but de caractériser les activités enzymatiques responsables de l'aptitude des suspensions cellulaires de sycomore à se développer en utilisant l'amidon soluble, le tréhalose ou le saccharose comme source unique de carbone exogène. Une α-glucosidase pariétale glycosylée présentant une très large spécificité a été identifiée. Cette α-glucosidase extracellulaire hydrolyse le saccharose, le tréhalose et l'amidon soluble. A study of differences between juvenile and mature meristematic tissues of epicormic shoots of <i>Betula pendula</i> Roth and <i>Acer pseudoplatanus</i> L. was made and these differences were used as markers of juvenility and maturity.
