Abstract:
The research results of the vital state of Acer tataricum L. trees in the green areas of an industrial city in the period 2019–2021 are presented. In the city of Dnipro, Tatar maple grows in small groups or in a row planting in separate localities (stow, island, central park, residential and school area). A total of 112 A. tataricum trees were examined. The vital condition of most of them (75.0 %) was assessed as acceptable. The average parameters of the trees are as follows: plant height – 6 m, age – 28 years, trunk diameter – 10.2 cm. The best average indicators of the length of the annual g

The problem of landscaping is relevant in connection with innovations in the construction and reconstruction of buildings. The relevance of the environmental problem of the city of Voronezh is the condition of seedlings of tree and shrub species. Due to the fact that most trees in Voronezh were planted in the 1970-1980s, as well as due to the emergence of aggressive invasive species of insects and fungal diseases directed aggressively against certain types of tree species (ash borer (Agrilus planipennis Fairmaire), Dutch disease elm (the causative agent is the marsupial fungus (Ophiostoma ulmi

This study investigated, for the first time, the phenolic acid profile along with the in vitro antioxidant and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activities of leaves and fruits from five Romanian wild-grown Acer spp. (Sapindaceae): A. campestre L., A. monspessulanum L., A. platanoides L., A. pseudoplatanus L., and A. tataricum L. High-performance liquid chromatography coupled with ultraviolet and mass spectrometry (HPLC/UV/MS) was employed to identify and quantify key phenolic acids, including gallic, caffeic, protocatechuic, chlorogenic, and p-coumaric acids. A. platanoides L., A. pseudoplatanus L., A. saccharinum L., A. tataricum L. Abstract:
Marginal populations are usually smaller and more isolated and grow in less favourable conditions than those at the distribution centre. The variability of these populations is of high importance, as it can support the adaptations needed for the conditions that they grow in. In this research, the morphological variability of eight Tatar maple (Acer tataricum L. subsp. tataricum) populations was analysed. Tatar maple is an insect-pollinated and wind-dispersed shrub/tree, whose northwestern distribution edge is in southeastern Europe. Morphometric methods were used to analyse the variability of
