In this work we synthesized a novel series of N’-substituted-N”-[4-hydroxy-3-(1H-indol-2-yl) phenyldicarbonodithioimidediamide by green synthesis parameters from N’-[4-hydroxy-3-(1H-indol-2-yl) phenyl] thiourea and substituted thioformamide. Previously such types of reactions were carried out in acetone medium but we developed new reaction condition in which percentage of acetone was reduced. During synthesis we carried out these reactions in various compositions of ethanol-acetone medium. This method has broad applications due to its efficiency for accelerating a course of o

In this paper, the ionization constants (pKa) of some nitrogen-containing organic bases (monoethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine) in water-ethanol, water-acetone and water-acetonitrile solutions at various concentrations of organic solvent in the studied systems have been determined by the potentiometric titration method. It was found that the values of pKa of monoethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine in aqueous-organic solutions naturally decreases with increasing concentration of organic solvent in the system. It was shown that their nature and the physico-chemical pr

The antifungal activity of secondary lichen metabolites extracted by means of acetone and ethanol from Cetraria islandica, Cladonia mitis, C. rangiferina, Pseudevernia furfuracea and Usnea dasopoga on the pathogenic fungi Fusarium oxysporum and F. avenacuem was examined. The activity of extracted compounds was tested after their mixture with PDA medium before solidification. The most active extracts inhibiting the growth of fungal mycelia contained fumarprotocetraric, salazinic and usnic acids, and atranorin. Abstract:
Application of activated zeolite (ZAA) as molecular sieve to separate compounds of coal tar from vaccum fractional distillation, have been done. The size of zeolite was 10-20 mesh and used as solid phase in column chromatography with length of 30 cm. The first step of the research was coal pyrolisis and the product (tar) was distillated by fractional column and vaccum system at reduced pressure 44 cmHg and maximum temperature at 200 oC. The distillate from this procedure was flowed to the column chromatography of zeolite (ZAA). The compound absorbed by zeolite was eluted with varying solvents,

Microwave sensors are principally sensitive to effective permittivity, and hence not selective to a specific material under test (MUT). In this work, a highly compact microwave planar sensor based on zeroth-order resonance is designed to operate at three distant frequencies of 3.5, 4.3, and 5 GHz, with the size of only λg−min/8 per resonator. This resonator is deployed to characterize liquid mixtures with one desired MUT (here water) combined with an interfering material (e.g., methanol, ethanol, or acetone) with various concentrations (0%:10%:100%).
