The properties of TiO2 precursors and microspheres and their performances of assembled dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were investigated. X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy analysis indicated an amorphous structure of the wormhole-like appearance of the titan

Among the existing strategies, semiconductor photocatalysis is highly expected to be an ideal “green” technology. It has been widely applied in the field of environmental pollution protection and energy conversion. How to effectively deal with dye wastewater has been attract most of attention from all over the world. In 1972, TiO2 photocatalyst

Abstract:
The removal of Safranin-O dye from water by using activated red mud was studied in batch equilibrium technique. The effect of initial concentration, adsorbent dose, pH and contact time on the adsorption were investigated. The removal of safranin-O was expressed with Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm. The characterization and mechanism of adsorption of Safranin-O on ARM was studied using instrumental technique like SEM, XRD and FTIR. With gradual increase in pH the percentage of removal was found to be increase gradually and maximum removal was obtained at pH 8. The adsorption kinetic study show

Industrial production of adipic acid is a premier example of synthetic methodology used on a mass scale that is not compatible with public environmental expectations and environmental policies of the 21st century. In this study, an environmentally compatible synthesis route has been established using a microbial strain to enzymatically convert benzoates into cis, cis-muconic acid. The influence of operating variables on the mineralization efficiency and decolorization rate were studied as a function of the molar proportion of vanadium-doped, current density, electrolyte concentration and the initial pH. FE-SEM images showed that the maximum uniformity particles and the best neat arrangement in 0.1 VT electrode. EDS and ESCA images showed that the implanted V ions existed in the lattice of TiO2.
