The result highlights that the policy process of electronic identification in the three studied authorities could not be adequately explained from a traditional policy-implementation dichotomy.

Abstract:
In the last few decades, there has been well documented evidence that the performance of the public building projects in local authorities in Indonesia does not fully meet the expectation of the stakeholders involved and demonstrates sustainable practices. This mediocre performance impacts on the competitiveness of building industry, and therefore would require the development of a strategic approach to address these fundamental structural and cultural issues. The strategic approach, which facilitates sustainable practices, to a large extent, depends on the local priorities, goals and success

Abstract:
The research establishes a context-specific sense of strategic risk in English local authorities. Uncertainty is found to be central to understanding risk but current practice is found not to reflect this, presenting risks with a false and misleading precision. Risks are identified to have varying, multiple characteristics. Risk assessment models which embrace these characteristics are developed and tested using a consistently applied bespoke risk data set developed for the research. Issues of control confidence and the betrayal of stakeholder trust are explored within these risk assessment mo

Different projects and round tables were coordinated by Tillitsdelegationen, who was the delegation in charge of the reform. The establishment of a trust-based perspective within the public sector was developed due to the sector being perceived relying too heavily on supervisory control and goal orientation. The delegation concluded their work during 2019 which resulted in the ter

This research posed two questions. The first question was in three parts: firstly it asked professionals, including carers, how they explained why Children and Young People in Public Care were more likely to have a Statement of Special Educational Needs, then low Statements helped them to "enjoy and achieve" and lastly to describe how Statements could be improved. Transcripts of focus group discussions and interviews with carers were thematically analysed. The professionals identified that early traumatic experiences will lead to a greater number of Statements and that the Statements help Chil

Abstract:
When choosing and applying the award criteria in the context of public procurement procedures, contracting authorities exercise their discretionary powers with a view to selecting the most economically advantageous tender. The importance of the use that contracting authorities make of their margin of discretion is directly related to the result of any public procurement procedure: the level of satisfaction of the contracting authorities’ needs provided by the works/supply/service contract concluded with the winning tenderer. Despite the tendency for public procurement regulation to focus on pr
