A retrospective analysis of treatment was made in 127 adult patients with acute and chronic otitis media complicated by suppurative-inflammatory pathology of the brain. Introduction: Nasal septal abscess is a rare disorder in pediatric patients and is mostly diagnosed as a complication of trauma or secondary to dental or sinonasal infection. Case Presentation: A 10-year-old girl presented with acute nasal obstruction, otalgia, and headache. Medical history was negative; physical examination and anterior rhinoscopy did not reveal signs of acute rhinosinusitis or septal abscess. Management and Outcome: A thorough nasal endoscopy was performed to rule out a posterior nasal infection, revealing a bilateral posterior septal bulging, in the absence of purulent disc

AbstractA pituitary abscess is an often-overlooked diagnosis in the clinical presentation of a sellar mass. Due to its rare incidence and nonspecific presentation, diagnosis and treatment is often delayed. The presenting symptoms were unremarkable for the diagnosis of meningitis, cavernous sinus thrombosis, and septicemia. The pharyngeal space spans from the base of the skull to the lower edge of the pharynx. It is bounded anteriorly by the posterior pharyngeal wall and posteriorly by the prevertebral fascia. The diagnosis of initial acute PID (acute salpingitis) begins with a challenge for the doctor, due to the little sensibility of the clinic's criteria. The accumulation of pus inside the fallopian tube gives a location for the tubaric abscess or pyosalpinx, whose characteristic signal is the presence of purulent material in considerable quantities and is visible by means of a sonograph inside the tubal light.
