Abstract:
Temperature measurement system is widely used in industrial monitoring, process control, intelligent home appliances and other fields. The traditional temperature detection method is to use the analog sensor, such as thermocouple or thermal resistance. This traditional temperature measurement system includes signal sampling circuit, amplifying circuit and A/D conversion circuit, which finally obtain the temperature digital signal. This kind of complex circuit leads to the weak anti-interference ability, which affects the reliability of the system. In this paper, a new design of digital temperature measurement system using digital temperature sensor AD7417 was presented. The sensor is connected to a central processing unit (CPU) via digital bus and the temperature value is displayed by LED. Practical application shows that the temperature measurement system is stable and reliable with strong anti-interference ability.

This paper uses ARM7 processor LPC2290, embedded data acquisition chip AD7715 and real-time operating system μC/OS-II as a basis to design an ARM-based embedded data acquisition system. This system achieves RS-232/RS-485 communication, Ethernet communication, keyboard and LCD display embedded control applications. It has a small size hardware, low power consumption, plenty functions and highly extended features. The reliability of embedded real-time operating system μC/OS-II has been certified. It makes the system more stable, and makes maintenance and upgrade program more convenient.

This paper introduces the MSP430 MCU-based near-infrared spectrometer front-end signal extraction and software signal processing design.The system adopts phase locked loop technology to signal phase shift processing. Phase sensitive filtering function achieved by the balance modem AD630.Finally the analog signal is converted to digital signal by AD7715 for the microprocessor processed.Microprocessor receives digital signal, filter processing is performed using a first order lag filter method to determine the point of measurement value.Through the comparison analysis of the experimental testing result, the program has higher signal-to-noise ratio and suppress interference ability, high reliability, good stability,etc.

Abstract:
An automatic wiper control system based on the adjacent capacitive used in automotive industry. Three types of capacitance sensor in different shapes (round-arrays, flower-shaped and single-ring) are designed, and their performances are simulated by using COMSOL and MATLAB under the same conditions. The results indicate the performance of the single-ring sensor is the best, and its sensitivity reaches 192.17fF/mm, which overcomes the problem of weak output. The data acquisition and conversion circuit based on digital chip AD7142 is designed to enhance the anti-interference and reduce the system cost. The experimental results prove the feasibility of the automatic wiper control system used on automatic car.

This paper reports the basic principle and implementation process of FPGA-based multi-channel analog signal acquisition module. The emphasis of the full text is the principle of Data acquisition and the system implementation process. Multi-channel data acquisition module is composed of signal conditioning circuit、multi-channel analog multiplexers、A/D conversion and the central control system. The aim of this work is to design a microprocessor-controlled multimode VHF radio can receive AM, FM and DAB. The first step is to become familiar with digital radio broadcasting DAB and RDS. Then we can proceed to the design of the receiver circuit solution using modern component base. Next it is necessary to write utility software and construct a prototype of receiver, verify its functionality and parameters. The result of the work is the multi-mode VHF broadcasting receiver controlled using touch screen display and supported by web management.

Abstract:
Glycogen phosphorylase (GPb) regulates the degradation of glycogen to glucose-1-phosphate and catalyses the first step of the reaction. Many studies have provided insights into the essentials of the catalytic mechanism. Previous time resolved crystallographic work using heptenitol has revealed a putative phosphate binding site at the active site of phosphorylase. Using nojirimycin tetrazole, a transition state analogue, complexed with phosphate and both T and R state GPb crystals, this work has conclusively located the phosphate binding site and the concomitant active site conformational changes. This has confirmed the previous heptenitol results. Using R state crystals complexed with tetrazole and phosphate, data were collected to 2.5Å resolution, higher than for the original 2.8Å resolution native structure, and used to position water molecules in the R state model. Further to this, direct observation of the phosphate ion orientation was made possible using flash-frozen T state crystals to collect 1.7Å resolution data at 100K. As part of this cryocrystallographic work the relationship of cryoprotectant concentration with crystal mosaicity was established, aiding the systematic search for flash-freezing cryoprotectant conditions for all protein crystals. Collection of a new native T state data set to 1.5Å resolution was made possible using the flash-freezing technique. Refinement has produced a new higher precision native model (R factor currently 22.8%) containing additional N terminal residues (14-18) and 330 new water molecules. A molecule of glycerol, the cryoprotectant, was located at the active site. This study represents a considerable improvement over the 1.9Å resolution room temperature native data, and is also the first time such high resolution data have been collected from such a large enzyme. In a further analysis of the phosphate binding properties, a link between structure, atomic charges and the ability of a ligand to bind phosphate at the phosphorylase active site was established. In order of phosphate binding ability, the nojirimycin tetrazole, nitroglucal, glucal and glucose complexes with T state GPb and phosphate were structurally analysed. As the charge difference between the pyranose ring oxygen (or equivalent atom) and anomeric atom becomes more negative (charges estimated using MOPAC) the tendency to bind phosphate decreases. The ligand must possess a half-chair conformation as this is essential to bind phosphate; glucose, having the most negative charge difference and a full chair conformation, does not bind phosphate significantly in the crystal. A novel surface binding site for nitroglucal (covalently linked to His 73) was also located during this work. As part of an ongoing search for potential drugs for diabetes, two gluco-hydantoin inhibitors of GPb were investigated. One proved to be the best inhibitor to date, and the inhibition was rationalised using the structural results from this work. A new improved inhibitor has been proposed on the basis of these results.

Abstract:
L'hydrosilylation asymétrique est une voies d'accès aux alcools et amines énantiopurs. Bien que très efficace, le coût et la toxicité des réducteurs silanes associés limite son application industrielle. Notre étude a porté sur le développement d'un système catalytique associant le zinc à des diamines et utilisant le PMHS, hydrosilane peu cher, stable et nontoxique. En milieu aprotique, la réduction d'alkylarylcétones s'effectue avec de hautes cbimio- et énantiosélectivités. La synthèse de nouvelles 1,2-diamines a permis d'atteindre 91 % d'excès énantiomérique sur l'acétophénone. Les substrats polyfonctionnels sont cependant difficilement réduits dans le toluène. A l'opposée, ce système est efficace en milieu protique sur une large gamme de substrats (alkylarylcétones, α- et β-cétoesters, cétoamides et imines). La procédure de réduction simple en une étape mène à d'excellentes activités et chimiosélectivités, les énantiosélectivités restant toutefois modestes (15-48 %). Divers précurseurs catalytiques simples et peu chers, tels que Zn(OMe)2ou Zn(OH)2,peuvent être employés. L'étude des mécanismes en milieu aprotique/protique a conduit à la synthèse et à l'étude de la réactivité de nouveaux complexes de zinc, proposés comme intermédiaires réactionnels ) pour expliquer les réactivités inhabituelles en milieu protique.

Ce travail concerne le développement de moyens de caractérisation expérimentale du bruit BF des composants semiconducteurs. Pour pouvoir extraire les sources de bruit en courant équivalentes aux accès du transistor lorsque celui-ci est soumis à un fort courant DC, nous proposons une méthode basée sur la caractérisation expérimentale de sa dynamique BF, ainsi que des fluctuations de tensions à ses bornes. Dans un deuxième temps, nous avons étudié le bruit BF des diodes et transistors, lorsque ceux-ci sont soumis à un régime de travail fort signal. L’instrumentation retenue pour cette étude a été préalablement utilisée dans la mesure du bruit 1/f des résistances au carbone, afin de démontrer ses potentialités. Les résultats obtenus sur des composants semiconducteurs ont mis en évidence le caractère cyclostationnaire des sources de bruit BF
This work concerns the development of an experimental technique to characterize the low-frequency noise of semiconductor devices. In order to extract the equivalent short-circuit current noise sources of a transistor operated under high DC current densities, we propose a method based on the experimental determination of the low-frequency dynamics of the device, followed by the measurement of the voltage fluctuations across its terminals. We also studied the behavior of the low-frequency noise of diodes and transistors, when those devices are forced into large-signal operation. The instrumentation retained for this study had been previously used to measure the 1/f noise of carbon resistors, as a mean of exploring the potentialities of the setup. The results obtained from resistors, diodes and transistos give a strong evidence of the clyclostationary properties of the low-frequency noise

Abstract:
Dental resin-composite is a material made of inorganic filler phase and organic matrix phase with a coupling agent that bonds the filler to the matrix. These materials became popular in dentistry for their improved aesthetic and clinical performance. The indications of these materials had expanded to involve restoration of anterior and posterior teeth including the more extensive restorations. The introduction of Bulk fill materials made their clinical applications less time consuming especially with their claimed improved clinical performance such as less shrinking ability, less water sorption and more stability in the oral environment. In this research we aimed to study the general stability of a wide group of resin-composite materials with regard of their polymerisation shrinkage, the effect of solvents storage on their mass and volume, their sorption and solubility and the effect of the solvents storage on the diametral strength and surface hardness of these materials. Bonded disk method was used to assess the polymerisation shrinkage strain and its rate was then obtained using a numerical differentiation method. For the polymerisation stress, Bio-man instrument was used. Modulus of elasticity was then calculated from the measured stress and strain at 60 min. The results demonstrated different shrinkage behaviour that is strongly related to the different monomer systems of the materials. The nature of the monomer system determines the amount of the bulk contraction that occurs during polymerization and the resultant stress. Higher values of shrinkage strain and stress were demonstrated by the investigated flowable materials. The bulk fill materials showed comparable result when compared to traditional resin-composites. The effect of three different solvents was investigated in which the materials were stored for a total storage time of 180d. Generally the materials were most greatly affected by MEK storage compared to the other two solvents. However, the glass-fibre-reinforced material (EVX) was mostly affected by water immersion. The pattern of change/recovery behaviour of the materials, during solvent challenge, was similar to the pattern of viscoelastic creep/recovery behaviour of resin-composite materials. The surface micro-hardness of the material and the diametral strength were studied after a period of solvents storage. The storage time and the type of solvent have a significant influence on these properties. In general, MEK showed more drastic reduction in the material micro-hardness with an exception of G-aenial universal flo (GA-F) which showed similar results in water/ethanol and MEK. The bulk-fill materials showed no superior results compared with the other materials. The significant decrease in the surface micro-hardness of the investigated materials makes their long-term stability open to question. For the bulk-fill materials that are designed to be used as a base, their penetration by the solvents may be shielded.

Abstract:
This thesis will focus on the work of eight British poets established in the 1950s or ‘60s as part of either the ‘Movement’ or the ‘British Poetry Revival’. The research will proceed from the prominent role played by these two groupings in understandings of British poetry, as expressed in existing criticism and in a number of poetry anthologies. As will be demonstrated, the opposition of these groups frequently stands in place of a more fundamental binary view of twentieth-century British poetry, which might be expressed in terms of mainstream versus margins or traditionalism versus experimentalism. At the core of this thesis, the eight poets under discussion will be placed in a series of comparisons that deliberately invokes such a binary split. Reading their poetry with a focus on landscape and ‘located identity’, I will suggest that the opposition between Movement and Revival poetry may be re-examined with a geographical or spatial emphasis. After introducing the critical terrain, I will demonstrate how poetry anthologies have helped frame the two groups of poets with potentially incompatible models of literary history. These models will be shown to engage with questions of cultural identity and the relationship of literary texts to national space. This will lay the foundations for my central chapters, which will each begin with a literary method of distinguishing Movement and Revival practice, but will then reveal the discourses of identity, locality, and territory that are also involved. Thus, the thesis will engage with matters of realism, syntax, lyricism, and poetic structure, for instance, but will also intimately connect such considerations to its central concern with located identity. By enacting this re-phrasing of an existing binary, I aim not only to fruitfully illuminate and interlink the two bodies of poetry, but also to suggest an altered method of mapping British poetry.
