A novel which takes emperor as a leading role is usually be sorted into two groups, an interesting episode or a legend and a novel emphasizing indulging in sensual pleasure. However, “Sui Yang-ti Yen-Shih” can not be classified into any kind of type above in previous research. Some researchers take “Sui Yang-ti Yen-Shih” as a historical story, but some think that the depiction in sentiment and life is not allowed to neglect. This research is based on former discussion, and attempts to present unique meaning of novel. Starting from rewriting historical documents and short stories, we observe that how the character of novel is added into historical materials, and how the author attracts readers in popularization process. The second section of our research starts from the title “yen,” and in the view of “rewrite,” we discuss how the glamorous and odd characters in “Sui Yang-ti Yen-Shih” is emphasized and presented. We analyze how “Sui Yang-ti Yen-Shih” touches sentimental factors, and how it builds the image of emperor, Sui Yang-ti, in the third section of this paper. The fourth section is to investigate the relationship between history and novel, and compare “Sui Yang-ti Yen-Shih” with other historical novels about Sui Yang-ti.

One of the primary concerns of architectural designers is how to attract the attention of citizens emotionally through shop fa&;ccedil;ades. The Kansei Engineering can be adopted to explore how to quantitatively measure image evaluation. Thus, this approach was used to investigate the Kansei image evaluation differences and the relationship between design features. The latter has complex nature based on differences in architectural professionals’ and non-architectural professionals’ appreciation of substantial likeness factors. A semantic differential scale (SD) questionnaire was created to survey impressions of single-building restaurants in Taichung city. The statistical tests show: 1. The broken-line graphs indicate that the leaning scale for average of the contemporary type displayed significant differences. 2. Factor analysis extracted three factors, named ‘Morphological-Style’, ‘Sentimental Value’ and ‘Fashionable-Aesthetics’ can meet Osgood’s semantic space to be covered with ‘activity, evaluative, and potency’. Based on the three axes factors, factor scores, as an evaluation space coordinate values, indicated in the Kansei space, coordinated of each relative position, could significantly distinguish the difference in three different styles of restaurants. 3.Regression equation between design categories and Kansei words was statistically concluded using Hayashi’s Quantitative Theory TypeΙ. Quantitative Theory Type I analysis explains how the items and categories of characteristics affect image and preference. X5 Texture obtained the highest partial correlation coefficient for A12 Rural-Urban image. Regarding the category point analysis for A12, X6C Green, X5F Decorative panel, X1C Commixture Eclecticism-caused a positive influence on urban, and it means they could strange urban feeling. 4. Three main factors, activity, evaluation, potency were extracted by factor analysis both for architectural professionals and non-architectural professionals. Non-architectural background evaluative intensity weakly, and do not agree with in potency feeling. 5. Cluster analysis determined that all fifteen examples were divided into the two groups according to aesthetics principle. Finally cognitions in restaurants extended to 4 groups through cluster analysis by non-architectural professionals, and when which is compared with that of architectural professionals, separated into 5 groups; the discrimination was because of critical discernment of style, shape, pattern, color and aesthetics.

Full textThe AAA+ATPase p97 is an essential protein involved in numerous cellular pro-cesses and plays a key role in multiple aspects of protein homeostasis. Its functio-nal diversity is mediated through the interaction with a large number of distinctcofactors binding to the N-domain of p97. Due to its significant role in regulatinga variety of physiological responses, p97 has emerged as a potential therapeu-tic target. A small molecule inhibiting the cofactor binding would be importantto dissect the molecular and cellular functions of p97 cofactors, thus helping tounravel their specific role in controlling p97 activity. Such compounds may alsoopen routes to new cancer therapies. In this work, a fragment-based approach was pursued for the identification ofchemical starting points for the development of a protein-protein interaction in-hibitor addressing the SHP binding site. Therefore, computer-assisted methods, such as virtual screenings and molecular dynamics simulations, as well as bio-physical techniques including biolayer interferometry, X-ray crystallography, andligand-based NMR techniques, were applied. The computer-based design started with an analysis of the known p97 crystalstructures in complex with the SHP motifs of cofactors UFD1 and Derlin-1. In ad-dition, molecular dynamics simulations were used to analyze the water proper-ties within the SHP binding site. Based on these results, pharmacophore modelswere developed and utilized in the subsequent virtual screening and dockingprocess. With the help of molecular dynamics simulations, ten compounds wereselected for experimental validation. Two of these were confirmed as ligands inSTD-NMR and biolayer interferometry experiments. In parallel, a biophysical fragment screening of over 650 compounds was perfor-med using the biolayer interferometry method. This led to the identification of22 compounds binding to the N-domain. Fifteen of these fragments were con-firmed in an orthogonal STD-NMR assay. Five compounds showed affinities withKDvalues below 500 μM and favourable ligand efficiencies for further optimiza-tion. Furthermore, the binding kinetics and affinity of xanthohumol, a naturalproduct reported in the literature as a p97 inhibitor, were determined and bin-ding to the N-domain was confirmed. xToidentify possible binding sites of these five fragments, mixed solvent mole-cular dynamics simulations were performed. These revealed that all compoundsaddress the SHP binding site in the N-domain. The regions coincide with hotspots of the cofactor binding and, thus, represent potential anchor points for aprotein-protein interaction inhibitor. For two fragments, the postulated bindingsites were confirmed by X-ray crystallography and STD-NMR measurements onp97 alanine mutants, respectively. The X-ray structure obtained is the first p97structure showing a fragment bound to the N-domain

The traditional 6-hole bamboo dizi has always experienced some problems that cannot be thoroughly solved in solo as well as instrumental ensemble playing, including those in intonation, range, and modulation. To adapt to the rich and variable composing styles and ever-changing methods, instrument players have attempted many methods to interpret musical composition, hoping to break those playing obstacles and expecting to approach requirements of composers. In this way, recent decades have witnessed many ways of improving dizi. This paper, reviewing the status quo of dizi improvement, focuses on the development and impact of halftone dizi on dizi music, and explores the induced pros and cons as well as more possibilities. It, in addition to collecting the improvement history of the traditional 6-hole dizi in recent 70 years, and emphasizes the solo playing of musical instruments, and then with two solos as an example, discusses the actual playing of the improved halftone dizi. To be different from the playing of modern style music with the traditional 6-hole dizi, or improved dizi such as hole-added dizi or multi-hole dizi, the “Butterfly Dreams” and “Ah-Shi-Ma Ballad” referred to in this paper are played with halftone Dizi of Chen in D to interpret the abundant tone changes and special grace playing skills. In trying to retain the unique features of the traditional dizi such as tone, playing skills and grace tones, it has found the breakthroughs in the playing interpretation of improved musical instruments and playing of modern music. It does not only include the basic analysis of musical composition structures but also offer some playing methods and interpretation viewpoints on halftone Dizi of Chen.
