Abstract:
An adaptive distributed linear dispersion code is proposed in this article. In the first place, each relay code selects modulation type adaptively according to channel capacity. Then the candidate dispersion matrixes are selected based on the channel state weight. Finally the best transmission scheme is selected according to the system information rate and reliability. Simulation results show that the proposed adaptive coding scheme gives a more good performance.

Abstract:
In a binary Transmitted Reference (TR) system each bit is encoded into two wavelets of finite duration. The information is transmitted by the sign of correlation measured between the two wavelets. The Code-Shifted Differential Chaos Shift Keying (CS-DCSK) modulation scheme transmits the two wavelets in the same time slot and applies two Walsh code sequences to keep the wavelets separated. The CS-DCSK modulation scheme is generalized here by transmitting more than one information bearing wavelets with one reference. The orthogonality of wavelets is assured by different Walsh code sequences. The

<p>This thesis consists of five included papers plus an introduction. The majority of the papers are devoted to performance analysis of an adaptive coded modulation (ACM) scheme based on multidimensional trellis codes. Primarily, single-user systems exploiting spatial diversity are analysed, but results are also presented for a multiuser system exploiting multiuser diversity.</p><p>The performance of the ACMscheme is evaluated for slowly flat-fading channels. When spatial diversity is exploited at the receiver end only, the analysis is focused on two different combining techniques: <i>maximum

Wireless technologies, such as satellite, cellular, and wireless internet are now commercially driven by ever more demanding consumers, who are ready for seamless integration of communication networks from the home to the car, and into the office. There is a growing need to quickly transmit information wirelessly and accurately. Engineers have already combine techniques such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) suitable for high data rate transmission with forward error correction (FEC) methods over wireless channels. <p> In this thesis, we enhance the system throughput of a w

The current and future trends of modern wireless communication systems place heavy demands on fast data transmissions in order to satisfy end users’ requirements anytime, anywhere. Such demands are obvious in recent applications such as smart phones, long term evolution (LTE), 4 & 5 Generations (4G & 5G), and worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) platforms, where robust coding and modulations are essential especially in streaming on-line video material, social media and gaming. This eventually resulted in extreme exhaustion imposed on the frequency spectrum as a rare natural

<p>Spectrally efficient transmission schemes are becoming a more common requirement for digital communication systems. Especially in wireless communication since the bandwidth of available frequencies is a shared resource. In addition, wireless communication systems suffer from transmission media with varying conditions. Adaptive coded modulation (ACM) has been suggested as a bandwidth-efficient transmission technique in wireless fading environments. The use of ACM is motivated by its ability to improve spectral efficiency (SE) by adapting the transmission rates to the variations in channel si
