Numerical models of such «lightweight» end-plate connections are analyzed and the results of experimental studies are presented. It was found that the end-plates adjacent to the column wall have a reinforcing effect, the deformability and stiffness of the 4-way end-plate joints were evaluated, and the need to take into account the real stiffness of such joints in analysis of building frame was noted.
