Abstract:
Abstract A field experiment was carried out in one of the agricultural fields in Abu Ghraib region during the winter season of 2018-2019 in order to study the effect of plowing systems on the growth and productivity of eight cultivars of wheat crop in a silty clay loam, field land which was not sown in the previous season. Two tillage systems were used (no-tillage and tillage) to grow the wheat crop, moldboard plows and harrow (local made). The cultivars were (Wafia, Adena, Araz, Erratum, Pura, Spelta, Doru, and Cymto). Randomized complete blocks design (RCBD) was used in a split plot arrangement with three replications. Results revealed that Adena predominated in plant height (87.77 cm), spike length (10.68 cm) tillers (4.695 tiller plant-1), whereas Cymto was superior in plant dry weight (80.00 g), thousand grains weight (54.80 g), grains yield per unit (5.535 Kg). Genetic material of Azar, Adena and Cymto cultivars was the best, as it was clearly manifested in the phenotypic components of wheat.

Abstract:
Drought is one of the most critical abiotic factors especially in warm dry areas yielding limited crop. Ten wheat genotypes tested for drought tolerance at germination stage. Polyethylene Glycol-8000 used to induce -1.7 and -3.5 bars osmotic potential as compared to control treatment with three replications in factorial experiment with completely Randomized Design(CRD).The studied parameters showed a decreasing in style of response to increment of PEG concentration. The lowest Final Germination Percentage (FGP) mean recorded was 73.23 % under -3.5 bars as compared to control. Means of Daily Germination time (MDG), Germination Index (GI) and Coefficient of Velocity Germination (CVG) have been decreased from 4.04, 3.23 and 81.64 at control treatment to 2.46, 1.77 and 69.21 at severe drought level. But the highest CVG; 83.34 recorded by Azady under 160 g/ L PEG. In addition under -3.5 bar treatment lowest means of shoot and root length recorded; 3.34 and 1.92 cm as compared to control treatment. While, lowest shoot weight and whole seedling weight; 0.07 and 0.079 g recorded by Abu-ghreb, but lowest root dry weight 0.008 g was recorded by Adena. While, a significant increase observed in proline content in all genotypes at 160 g PEG-8000/ L medium. Ezz, Sham-6, Azady, Rabeaa and Riagary seedlings’ accumulated more proline as compared to Tammuz-2, Adena, Abu-ghreb, Abehade and Ebba-99. According to the studied parameters a dendrogram constructed. The genotypes classified into two groups. Resistant; include Ezz, Sham-6, Azady, Rabeaa and Rizgary. Sensitive; includes Tammuz-2, Adena, Abu- ghreb, Abehade and Ebba-99.

Abstract:
In 1992 and 1993 the Archaeological Resources Management Service (ARMS) of Ball State University in conjunction with the Upper White River Archaeological Society (UWRAS) conducted limited research of Windsor Mound located in Randolph County, Indiana. The project consisted of obtaining accurate profiles of an amateur excavation that began in 1986 and backfilling the excavation. This thesis provides a synthesis of the previous studies on Windsor Mound, an analysis of the materials recovered and the results of the limited UWRAS/ARMS excavations.

Abstract:
Despite incredible sales success, popularity, and a fifty year history, easy readers are one of the most neglected forms of children’s literature. Called everything from “the poor stepchild of the more glamorous picture book or children’s novel” to “literary flotsam,” easy readers are too-often regarded as insubstantial, superficial, sub-par literature. This thesis provides the first comprehensive, theoretically grounded examination of easy readers and endeavors to prove that a surprising complexity lurks beneath the easy reader’s decodable surface. In order to illuminate both extra-textual and textual complexity, easy readers are treated generically and examined using the contemporary genre theories of Amy Devitt and Adena Rosmarin. This thesis ultimately unearths a heretofore unexplored complexity in the easy reader’s publication history and generic emergence, and finds that the easy reader genre has literary potential and can accommodate works of artistic merit.
